  1. What would be the advantage of an instanced Hami?
  2. Dunno if it is just me, but Kallisti seems too nice for a challenge zone. Long term pipe dream, but I'd like a incarnate level hazard zone of Hami infested Praetorian Paragon City (Shroud City?) Some day.
  3. Huh, they probably should have given you alignment points for that choice. It's a very vigilante/hero choice.

  5. The enemies being fought are semi-super as well though. Even hellions take multiple rifle shots to arrest.
  6. Personally, I'm hoping for some new story arcs. Maybe somewhere in the upper 30's to 40's. Leveling takes quite awhile on higher levels so you spend a bit of time there in that range. Hoping for more Praetoria too. Also would like a sentinel rework (hoping for more damage personally).
  7. He's nice where he is so you can level before/during Thiery's arc though.
  8. Also if you are melee only, jousting works (queue the finishing blow, then run by the enemy quickly so you end up away from them as your power fires off). Also, on rezzing they gain hp proportionally to the number of people in range of their death end drain, so at the very least try not to clump around a low hp Super Stunner.
  9. Personally I have not heard much in the way of complaints necessarily. I don't count it as a complaint when someone asks for a feature that they know of from another server. That's just a source of ideas. I'd say my impression of the players' sentiments on the state of HC is pretty positive.
  10. The OG Devs were talking about making a Sniper powerset that never happened due to the sunset. Not sure what it would have looked like TBH, AFAIK nothing specific was said, though it would be a good opportunity for narrow cones like Piercing Beam. Maybe I have been watching too much Starcraft II, but it would be cool for the T9 to be target marking for an artillery strike or something. I'm up for some more gun powersets in general. I have said before, but I would like to climb into a time machine and make the AR powerset split into possibly three powersets: Rifle, Shotgun, and Heavy Weapons, just like how we have War Mace, Axe, Broadsword, Katana etc. as separate melee weapon powersets.
  11. Only raid zones have the unique issue of not being able to leave the zone without risking losing your spot due to the zone cap though. Also, I don't know the spaghetti code, but surely copy and pasting Gull in RWZ wouldn't be a big deal right? It is already a Co-op zone so the side switching shouldn't even matter. Another question then is who even wants to be affected by group fly? Maybe make it default off rather than on if that is easier. The only thing I can come up with is Shadow Shard, but even then, you have jetpacks aplenty in P2W. Well, yes. It should have been just a options menu item. If you only want one Gull, then I would prefer it were in RWZ instead of Pocket D though.
  12. Wow, that has a lot of surprising stuff on there. Not surprised to see Bio and Shield up there, but I can't believe EA is so low and Regen so high.
  13. According to the Dev AMA after the sunset, they weren't sure who owned the rights to him for some reason. Would be nice to have the gang all back together.
  14. Didn't read the entire thread since reading is for nerds, but my read on the Warriors is that they're a bunch of Tapout shirt wearing, anabolic steroid abusing, gymrat alpha CHADS. They use Greek mythological names, but truthfully they don't really understand or care about that too much. What they do care about is flexing on people (literally) and swordfighting each other with sharp weapons to prove their bravery.
  15. Lt. Harris is cringe af, and Dr. Graves (the Redside Shining Stars) is just a whiny crybaby, but I did enjoy the other new Mercy arcs.

  17. Iirc, even that is just from the interaction with water, whether it be in the reactor or the water in your eyeballs (write your will if in the case of the latter). Ionizing radiation itself is not in the visible spectrum. Though some radioactive material is radioactive though to be incandescent (plutonium notably is), that is still just the plain old visible light spectrum you are witnessing (plus a lot of non-visible unfriendly spectrums you are not). I did color my rad/rad brute blue though (but the damn contamination is still green!)

I only started at the beginning of summer, but even my first level 50 used all IO's (first common IO's and random stuff that I crafted from drops, then sets, though no purps or winters) right when she reached level 50. I did not farm or anything, this was from merit rewards from arcs, TF's, and Hami/MSRs (I did a lot of the latter two). Getting fully common IO-d out is only a couple mill. Cheap set IO's are also, well, cheap. The one thing that any new player has to learn to have adequate income is how to semi-efficiently turn merits into money, which probably could stand to have an in game short tutorial or something. I was playing up till 20-ish before I figured out how to turn merits to converters to money, and by then I had 100+ merits IIRC. That's already like, 21 million minus AH listing fees, and probably enough to fully common IO out a character, all at level 20-something. I was able to play at +0x8 towards the end with just mainly common IO's. YMMV depending on your AT though. That was an Elec/Elec brute. Not a very meta primary by any means but the secondary is pretty good.
