Random DEV-Only Costume Pieces Thread
ArchVileTerror replied to blue4333's topic in Art & Multimedia
It has been frequently requested: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/5699-npc-costume-pieces/ -
@Lyris wins. Although, "Thrown (small/large)" isn't exactly a catchy name. What would we call these two sets to be clearly distinct between large and small?

Give a GM a Little Positivity!

Another thanks for the GM who nuked all those unsolicited advertisements within 5 minutes of them getting flooded in to the General Discussion board! -
I think the toss-and-catch should be for something like a throwing axe or boomerang set, rather than shurikens. But, yeah, it's a cool mechanic idea!

I know of one. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Penny_Preston Clearly, though, her mutant power is to never age.

Debt is this wonderful mechanic which allowed players to slow down their rate of levelling up simply by reducing their character's active Hit Point pool to 0. However, the feature became vestigial when the option to toggle Experience on or off was introduced.

Inf PvP: In Atlas Park, you throw money at rebuilding Galaxy City and providing support to those who suffered. In Grandville, you funnel resources toward subverting the business restoration efforts and starve the homeless. At the end of each month, we see which side sunk the most Inf (obviously going to be heroes). That side then gets a celebration. (Not saying this is a good idea, mind you, or even an idea which I like. Just an idea which I'm throwing at the wall.)

You also need a partner named "Ready Anne."

Instead of running Homecoming from Tequila, launch Icon or ParagonChat with the -n launch modifier. You may need to use a different manifest to launch ParagonChat or Icon, though. -

Could call that one "Blades" . . . 'cause, you know . . . he has at least two of them. And I can tell you that there are at least three vampire Groups on Everlasting. -
I've been in a weekly Vampire campaign for the past few months, since I lost steam for GMing my Shadowrun campaign when my job turned to hell back last October. I'm quite enjoying it! I had been aware of the World of Darkness for many years, but never actually took the plunge until now. It also helps that Bloodlines 2 has got me pretty excited, and I've been training myself to stop getting on board hype-trains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6dTGZ11v7U

Weekly Discussion 50: Darkness Control
ArchVileTerror replied to GM Miss's topic in General Discussion
I mean, I'd certainly choose the cat over the dog every single time if they were the only two options, but both still seem out of place. I would have figured a shadowy version of the Demon character model would have been most appropriate. Maybe with just the skull-face part as a solid texture, and everything else being translucent and shadowy. -
Ok, that's a relief. Still, merits further testing and research, as everything does. Can never be -too- certain, after all. And with a broad community posting their findings publicly, as well as their methods for peer oversight and review, things can only improve. Thanks to all of you who are doing this investigation!

Weekly Discussion 50: Darkness Control
ArchVileTerror replied to GM Miss's topic in General Discussion
Get rid of the dog. . . . Ok, not really -get rid of- . . . but seriously, some alternatives would be PROFOUNDLY appreciated. It's just so visually and thematically jarring to have the ultimate pet in this set being a really big dog. There are so many more appropriate character models to use! It feels like the only reason it's in the set was just to showcase the new quadruped model. Otherwise I think Darkness Control is a pretty fantastic Set overall. -
I mean . . . I -do- play Redside almost exclusively, Doc . . . But still, I am repentant. Although, that might just be because I'm Canadian. . . . Sorry.

Thanks for letting me know. Haven't got around to installing Python on this computer yet, but I do have it on my laptop. I'll get around to either remedying that tomorrow, or transferring the logs to the laptop.

I have two Captain Mako HeroClix, and two copies of each of the comics; one set which I opened and read, and the other set still wrapped in their original plastic for mailing.

Sorry, Windows user here (one day I'll work on learning Linux). Is there something I can do to grep on my inferior operating system?

"Pretty" is pretty subjective, though. I know I'd suffer through some jilted animations if it meant being able to have a snake body in-game. Bonus points if we also get mass-of-tentacles as a lower torso option, or something like: buuuuuuuuuuut . . . that's pretty pie-in-the-sky, I realize.

Weekly Discussion 49: Alternate FX/Animations.
ArchVileTerror replied to GM Miss's topic in General Discussion
All Walk and Run animations have been brought up in other threads and venues, but good point! Here's the place to mention it, again. Can we please get all the walk/run animations unlocked to all models? The "Walk" Power is three different Powers, frankly. "Strut" for male models, "Sashay" for female, and "Stomp" for huge. It would be nice to get to -choose- which of those we apply to our characters. Oh, and the civilian walk is what should be the "Walk" Power.
