The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
Razor Cure replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It is? So how did my MMs function at high levels before ATOs came along? Granted, they werent as tough, but I still got along fine. ANd yes, pets being at lower levels in incarnate trials can be painful, but since those are never solo, there is almost always gonna be external buffs/heals around. Does that mean all ATOs are a tax? Cause they all (most) have awesome buffs. Like the stalker is paying a 'tax' for BU to recharge, a scrapper pays a tax to increase their crit chance, etc etc. EVERY enhancement slotted, that is not doing +dam/acc/end/rech/etc is a tax..you a getting something else out of it as a trade off. Trading 6 (i think? 2 atos, 2 pet, 2 pet rech set) slots to make my pets WAY tougher (no other power set can get such a boost for just 6 slots)..sign me up. If that is a tax, I don't mind paying it at all. Not fair to those MMs, yes. To Mms in general? Less so. As I said, I'd rather pets improved, which includes all sets having teh ability to use every Pet unique.- 152 replies

Wild idea: Increase the minimum chance to hit from 5%
Razor Cure replied to Vanden's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This idea did make me go WTF..but it does make sense. It would have been a good mechanic to have from the games inception..maybe at this time it would just be too much work/change. However, I think something similar could work for pvp. I know pvp has the Elustivity effect/buff to defence based sets, and for most non-def sets (melees etc), the actually amount of def you cna get is stupidly small. Not claiming to know how all the interactions work, but I saw a thread saying a SR Sentinel only gets to about 20% def to all in pvp, and if they pop Elude..that goes up. To a huge 22% (these values are quite possibly misquoted). SOmething like teh bolstering/prescion ideas could address that. -
The Mastermind Wishlist: Completed, Uncut, and En Masse
Razor Cure replied to Monos King's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
This would be nice, dont get me wrong..but..why? The MM ATO's, while not super 'exciting' (like scrapper/stalker) are really really really good. And they work to make the most important part of an MM, the pets, even tougher. And as good as they are, MMs can and are good without them. It would be like taking every armour set and going 'oh the +def and res IOs, lets just add those values into a toggle', just cause. I'd much much prefer each Pet primary tweaked and brought in line with the others (as much as possible).- 152 replies

Damage Procs and PPM tweaks or changes - Suggestion thread
Razor Cure replied to Caulderone's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Are these super proc exploiting builds actually that common? I mean, I will take peoples (who have done heaps of testing and have numbers to back it up) word that a TW/Bio scrapper is super awesome and clearly the best, but if I dont find it fun, I would never play it. Same as the build with a ton of procs and minimal rech in powers. Those aren't things I build for, so I am not going to use them. The only procs are usually from sets like Mako/ToD/Oblits etc. -
ALl in the name? It is up pretty quick, I could see 20 seconds instead.

One of the biggest gaps between Def and Res sets (and regen is closer to resist than def) is that a deflected attack loaded with debuffs does nothing to the Defence set. Nothing at all. That same attack, while resisted to whatever %, lands with teh full whack of debuffs (not counting the -regen resist). A few sets get debuff resist, but it is usually against Slows, with some DefDebuff resist throw into sets with 'some' defensive toggles (WP, invul, bio). Given that Regens whole idea is to..regenerate damage super fast. giving it more protection to debuffs (or a greatly reduced duration for those debuffs) would make it different to other sets, without adding a heap of absorb to the set.

I agree that the arcs 'can' be easy, especially if you are already +3. But not everyone would be +3 before doing them. Assume a fresh 50, done the incarnate arc, nothing unlocked. Maybe a person who doesnt like iTrials (the lag, the people), so they set out to do the incarnate content solo. There is Number 6, Belladona V, and the Da arcs. The first 2 only give one salvage reward each, so there is a very very slim chance of having ANY t33s built after those. The DA arcs have maybe..6-8? rewards, so still rather unlikely you will get to +3. In fact, I did the fresh 50 da run with a friend, and by the end I think we may have been +2, and that is with already having made our alpha (by WTF's and MSR's). Obviously you'd get more iXp running full teams, but not everyone wants that either.

Defender and Corruptor Poison Venomous Gas
Razor Cure replied to Major_Decoy's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I HATED it on my MM. Literally every single time I used it on a pet, that pet would instantly get all the aggro and go splat, in spite of the 'amazing' debuffs. Even worse since pets are at a lower level than you are (sometimes). But the option to have it on self or other would be good. Hint Hint, for sonic too. -
I know that is meant as a serious suggestion, and would actually be cool for some people. But for the AE farmers who do nothing else? Awarding them for PL'ing with something that skips leveling entirely?

Wishful Thinking: Nerf AND Buff Kinetics.
Razor Cure replied to Wavicle's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Curious Leo. Are you saying that Kin +IOs is the equal of 'super' sonic res (like sonic if it performed like in your above example). If that is the case..it should be pretty clear that Kinetics is overpowered? Change that..FS is OP. Way back on Live, I did a rough (very rough) comparison of the T9 powers in support sets. Basically no set came close to the equivalent of FS to fully cap an entire teams damage, every mob, all the time. Granted, this way before sets like Time and Nature, but i do find it interesting that both time and nature have totally awesome T9s (huge +damn, rech, to hit, heal, etc..all great effects with big values)...which cannot be perma without a huge investment of IOs. There is only a few of the older sets that have T9s that can come close. COld dom and Heat Loss (also needs a lot to get perma, Pain, which is 'only' a single target buff, therm which also needs a lot to get Perma. Maybe a few of the others. But the point is, no t9 comes close to the power of FS. Melee T9s are mostly useless, but at least they FEEL godly. Same as most t9 attacks. I'd prefer some adjustment of the T9s in other sets, but I can still admit FS is too good. -
Focused Feedback: Electrical Affinity - Powers (Build 2)
Razor Cure replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
I have not tried teh set yet, but looking at the power info (teh OP) and what people are saying...the static mechanic, while thematic, seems..overly punishing. Needing static to actually hit an entire team with heals/buffs? No other set gets that penalty. Imagine if Nature 'needed; 4/5 Bloom stacks, before the heal could hit a full team, instead of the bloom just being an 'addon' to an already good power. That is..the elec powers shouldnt need static not to suck. An aoe heal that hit the whole team, but had a chaining animation would be unique enough. The set shouldnt suffer just because it is new and different. -
Sentinel Epics: Darkest Night vs Darkest Night
Razor Cure replied to Razor Cure's topic in Bug Reports
Kinda seems like a case of redside getting shat on..again. especially since you have to unlock the Patrons, but blue epics are just free. -
Specifically..soul mastery vs dark mastery DM: -21% dam, _10% to hit, 0.65 end per sec. SM: -15% dam, -7% to hot, 0.66 end per sec. Uh...what now? The powers have the exact same name. Sure, teh other powers in the pools are different, but at the very least, the SM version should be costing LESS end.

Malta have actually hooked up with Battle Maiden, in the post DA world. They helped her in exchange for her nanite tech. I can see tehn getting beam rifles, maybe even some regen (nano bots) type heal powers
-
Yeah, cause being 50 and IO'd out is totally an accurate reflection on GETTING DA to 50.
-
Key phrase. Very key phrase.

Maybe not SS itself, but increased speed would be great. Make it out of combat speed, or only when they are in passive/follow mode.

The Broken Brutes Effect (please buff them)
Razor Cure replied to blackswan's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Just dipped into this thread and saw this. As a comparison..Borderlands 2. Totally LOVE that game and played it to death multiple times. But I only ever took ONE character beyond the 2nd Difficulty Tier (for those who dont know, the 'normal' diff game ends at about lvl 30ish, then you restart the game, but with baddies getting more hp, armour and shields. Then once Tier2 is finished, it restarts, again, with even TOUGHER baddies). The game in the hardest mode just was not fun at all for me, as the level of the 'challenge' just becomes totally stupid. The AI doesnt improve, theres no new tactics and powers...just EVERY single guy, boss to teh weakest minion, now becomes an utter bad of hp and armour and shields. In that regard, it is one thing that CoX does really (well mostly) well with increasing difficulty. The DA arcs, and newer mob types (I-tsoo, knives, BP, cot, even Cim;s) all feel, at least to me, much tougher than standard mob types, and do NOT just have more hp or damage. -
Which is a valid point. I agree. But.. WP, rad, bio, fire, regen and to an extent, elec, energy and ice ALL ask just what this 'need to turn off some toggles' idea is. Even shield, sr and nin have nothing like the amount of toggles, just to reach optimum performance for the set. To bring it up again, why else would the Senty version of Dark regen give +recovery? And that remix of the set has one less toggle (equal 1st for the most costly).

NPC Vendors Buy Merits for 200k inf each
Razor Cure replied to aethereal's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I didnt mean concerning as in 30m was/wasnt enough. It does sound right. I meant 30 mil in a 'lifetime' of playing..vs 30mins farming. For a similar amount of money. -
Beast Run stance as a Prestige Sprint option
Razor Cure replied to Bossk_Hogg's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd love the option to have Ninja Run's stance going for SS. With my HUGE titan weapons scrapper, ninja run looks awesome, with teh way teh sword is help and sorta dragged. Looks much more realistic and cool than the simple 'weapon held out' animation that plays with SS. -
NPC Vendors Buy Merits for 200k inf each
Razor Cure replied to aethereal's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Maybe teh option to sell merits would be a good thing. I wonder what the percentage of people who buy converters is, who actually only then go onto use said converters to craft whatever IO is selling well, in order to flog a bunch to people who DONT think 30m is nothing. Personally, I dont sell converters at all, I use them to build MY IOs, so I dont have to deal with the marketeers who enjoy shafting others and getting hordes of virtual money. 30m will get a heap of level 50 SOs, or some decent sets, but I think it is more concerning that 30m was your sg mates 'lifetime' savings, but a AE farmer could make that amount in like 30 mins (or whatever the average fire farm is). -
Does anyone know if the bonus xp amount is meant to be similar, for ALL the weeklies? Like teh same rough %, appropriate to your level? I cant quote any exact values, but it seems like teh Cap SF gives a much much small bonus, compared to others. Mr lvl 46ish blaster did Cap, will a 1mil xp bonus. My lvl 45 dom did SIlver Mantis..3 mil bonus! Now that could be because it is a higher level thing, but consider cap is max 20, and mantis is max 25...getting 3times the bonus seems excessive. Well, no, getting 1/3 for Cap seems a rip. Again, going more but remembered amounts than actual values, but I am almost sure Posi1 and 2 still give about 3 mil bonus xp at 45ish.
