You mean DiB. DfB is pretty worthless at 20. And theres the fact starting in Prae locks you there for 20 levels. Sure, they can go fast, but theres no way to leave. I am not sure if it tells new characters that, but I know a few people who had no idea, found out, then said screw it.

They are in oro, but it would be nice to have them doable from lvl 10-40, WITHOUT having to start a toon in Prae (since that locks you out of DFB and a huge percentage of teams, more so because the arcs there are generally quite hard, especially as an unenhanced lowbie). The level 10-40 content bracket, I find, is pretty bleak, and full of so many old clunky arcs (much much more of this is blueside, most of red has newer and, again, to me, way more fun), with only newer ones like the Prea related talos contacts and president marchand being largely free of a stupid amount of cross zoning, hunts and errand missions. Granted, lvl 20-40 also has teh Night Ward/First Ward stuff (which are also excellent, and way underused, in my experience), and I cant remember what level those arcs cap at, but I'd love to be able to do all the Prae/Ward arcs right to 50, mixing them with the paragon/rogue isle arcs of a similar style. Would be even cooler if those arcs and tfs (sutter, kal, maybe some new ones?) counted for Praetorian accolades.

Let's be honest..how many khleds have all this? Or more to the point..how many have it without spending X amount on it? Saying PBs are fine, because you CAN get that, at super extended maximum, is hardly the same as saying a Khled on SOs.- 41 replies

The hitbox on the Seed of Hami and Rikti Dropships are also totally awful for melee. In the case of the dropship, it is made even worse by how fast it is, and travel suppression, -

They are? Cause I dont see any posts from teh powers dev team in this thread. And fine, so they didnt remove brawl, but they STILL fixed (according to tewst patch notes, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt) it, somehow. So..why cant there ever ever EVER be some way to fix this?

Go check out the many many threads about MM pets, and you will see a lot of people saying it was impossible. Most were referencing comments from the Live Dev team, and Castle I think, who TRIED to fix them, and it flat out broke other stuff. Like a lot.

Great reasoning behind that response. Again, if they can fix MM pets, which was flat out stated as game breaking and impossible..why should this be? Maybe it would take ages to work through the code and stuff, but impossible?

Taking that with a grain of salt. The MM pet brawling was also apparently impossible and simply could not be done EVER..and yet someone (clearly a super genius!) worked it out.

Just thinknig more about the Stalker ideas in here (that of an auto Placate in the set), maybe the same could be used for Tanks? Give them a seperate, autotake taunt power (exactly as taunt in now, but no power choice) and give them another aoe/cone. That would help there damage, and with teh lower damage of tanks, wouldnt be OP.

No. No. As someone with both EM and SM doms, no. I LIKE being in melee, and that blapper style of play, on a dom (a squishy AT) is fun as hell and a rush. With no melee at all, the assault sets would just become blast sets..which are already shared by 3 ATs. Yes. I had a Kat stalker on Live, and ONE aoe was a pain. YES. Archery has one of the worst damage types, with only blazing arrow as anything else. AR needs a hard update, especially on the ranges and arcs of the cones.

No idea how hard it is, but it would be super cool. Looking at CoT in DA, they are basically teh same as 'normal cot,' while the Tsoo are a lot different, with new power sets and combos, and teh Talons/Knives are similar. Then the 2nd SigArc has incarnate Trolls. -

Taking away teh rooted nature of the 'turnon' isnt a bad idea, but I still think the power NEEDS to have teh +rech part not tier no the utterly stupid (and totally unique, because it just makes no sense) mechanic of having to turn a power OFF before i does what you want. Sure, the +rec and absorb is really nice, but every blaster (I still think someone in the power area had a blaster with bad end issues, so just decided that all blasters need a huge recovery boost) gets that (with some exceptions, making the sets with that even better). -
5 secs feels like a LOT of time, especially when there is a load of spike damage, all just waiting for that Mez to hit. Always gonna by different opinions for pvp.

The pet shouldn't work with dom at all. I am pretty sure none of the other dom pets generate dom..or Fire COntrol would build it super fast. Also I think it would need tweaking as a set..the two stealth powers at the very least (one would be replaced with an immob) but should one stay? Does being invisable AND have untouchable, aggro generating pets really fit the AT? I think it would be stupidly powerful. Two pets could stay..dark control has something similar but I'd expect )and it would be more balanced) if PA got a longer recharge and could take damage. -
AOE buffs should work on caster.

Regardless of teh many arguments put forward..one thing I agree with is giving Trollers (maybe not doms) a damage buff on their ST hold. Sure, then alreadd have containment, but slotting that hold for damage is less useful. Look at ST holds in pvp as an example. -
YES. Also, in regards to the hover vs cj talk.. I agree, Hover is a nice IO mule and the psuedo KB prot (but seriously, who is NOT slotting one -kb IO these days? so many spots for those), and ranged hover blasting. But the -kb is sorta pointless, as just mentioned, and there is also a lot of power sets that need to be near melee at least sometimes, such as Kinetics. As for CJ, the immob prot is another part of the draw for me (really notice the lack of it fighting CoT or archnos). The amount of times I have seen a hover-toon webbed and ganked in a mission..well..it's a lot! I forget though..is it Hover or ZFly itself that has the -fly prot built in? Is that enough to stop a normal immob downing you?

Never? Until you have played with ss/cj, you havent played. The control and fluidity is amazing.

I never take Fly. Never. SS+CJ, all the way. However..I took it on my new blaster cause he is a spaceman kinda thing! ANd..it it just so so sooooooooooooooooooo SLOW. I never slot SS for speed, as it is great right outta the box. Swift gets a Run Speed, and with cj, you can basically more about kinda suppressed (when ss get sup'd, you have cj to bounce around with, with NEVER slows down).. But with the Flight pool...Hover is stupidly slow..and uses over twice the end! My new blaster (beam/ta) has swift, fly and agilty all slotted with 1 FlySpeed IO..making my fly speed 67ish mph. And yet..my friend flies almost exactly the same speed, using just the Raptor pack! Do FLy and Hover really need what I see as basically wasted slots (since, again, ss/cj dont need run or jump) to be anything other than agonizingly slow?

Is it that much of a boost? You said yourself, its tiny, and I am sure its like..from 75% to 87% or something. ALso, a LOT of those sets (mace, axe, swords of all types, box, ar) have heavily resisted damage types. Is a small acc boost so bad on these sets, especially teh ancient ones? -
That still is gonna make some of the TFC ones, especially Syn, totally not worth doing. You could just solo an Elite Synapse at level 50 (53) with no trouble at all. I admit, SYnapse is a total PoS, but removing ANY incentive too run it does not seem good. Unless the Master Elite TFC accolade actually gave more +hp..in which cause, redside would need the same, and would not be tied to TFs. Not to state the obvious..but these TFs are made for people who aren't level 50. No one is forcing you to exemp down in order to do them. Run them as you level up. That said, I'd like to see more challenges made for normal TFs, similar to incarnate content. Like 'destroy all turrets' in the final mission of the SKyraiders tf, or 'complete synapse without wanting to murder puppies.'
