I recently saw him (apparently) spawn " down below" in one of those ground level areas that's effectively nearly underground compared to all the higher roadways around. Someone had called out he was about to spawn and me and a dozen or so people gathered and flew about until I found him. He was just standing around on the low low level there, but at least he wasn't literally under anything so I could spot him from the sky. Some of the architecture on that map gets so convoluted, I wouldn't be surprised if he happened to spawn in a weird spot and then didn't get found soon enough.

I'd be up for some love for the set, yeah. Had a Poison troller that worked OK, and got a really good character concept for a Poison MM. During the design-a-build phase realized it doesn't work the same way or as well as on troller, and now, despite the killer concept, really dragging my feet here to even finish the build.

I've joined so many 50s teams in PI that I routinely skip them anymore. Always join a DA team when I see one, but they don't come up too often, no. It is pretty easy to run a "any levels welcome!" team in PI, but DA can eat the wrong low level toons alive, multiple times I speak from experience ha ha).

You get the torches, I'll get those rakey-looking things.

Meanwhile, everyone still laughs at the Council as they happily mow down their amassed minions in the warehouses across the world. 😃

Pretty sure I was recently on a DFB that I kept seeing a Controller's Energy Font pop up on, so that would make sense.

Interesting. That effect aside, is there any case when that's something to keep in mind for slotting, like "be sure this -resist fires first, before the damage" or something?

This is getting rather political, but: Eh, the US has pretty well lived enough with and around other pretty bad states before, what's one more, even if it is nearby and occasionally doing bad stuff to us? Heck, we might even be able to come to an understanding with them and try and get something out of the deal.

Yeah, I mean, I have used it, occasionally, for stuff like that, but I never found it essential. Now let me have it on a tank and that's a whole nuther story.

I think all sets should be available to everyone, even TW for Stalkers, atho on is face that doesn't make a lick of sense (neither does a flaming stalker with fire armor or whatever). But, I do like it when the set isn't just cookie-cuttered across ATs but carefully tailored to each strength and weakness of the AT. I know that requires more work, but it's better than just replaying the same set just on a different toon.

Derp, you're right. It's on a toon I don't play much lately so I forgot. But: that toon is an Ill/Trap troller, so he doesn't really need too often to move from target to target like say my tank does. The troller's build was one I grabbed off the forums and adjusted slightly, so I took it, but... don't really need it. IMHO of course!

Has my big T9 explosion attack recharged yet? OMG it has! Click it you fool, CLICK IT!! I try and start smart by like clicking a Build Up or something like that, Link Minds, whatever will help my attacks land/protect me, then cut loose with that big AoE or monstrous single target upon my chosen target. Then I get all frantic mashing buttons and whatnot, sometimes with less consideration than I really should be using (clicking a T9 for that white-con minion with only a fraction of Health left wasn't a great choice huh?). When it's all over, hopefully I'm still standing and they are not! There are some deviations from this based on the powers, such as those commonish attacks that melee types get that don't do too much damage but offer a boost to Defense, I try and reclick those a fair amount, especially if the fight's tough.

Say four different colored portals, each a known quantity like "red takes you to Brass Monday, blue to the 5th Column/Council War," etc. Badge given upon completion of each task within that portal, another badge for completing all of them (and maybe some extra defeat-badges too). Sort of like the Banner event that way. I like this idea a lot.

Back on Live I didn't get too many chances to run TFs and whatnot (I soloed a LOT), so now that HC is back I've been catching up on the stuff I missed the first time round - like Hami raids! The Abyss is a pretty cool and dramatic natural landscape kind of map, I kind of wish there was more to do there. Croatoa's always been a fave. Any new magicy-spooky-something characters of mine always tool through to get every badge there ASAP. Speaking of both those things mentioned above, I'd never really gotten into the dark and winding paths of Perez Park until HC, I really like that area too.

I only have it on one toon and don't use it much - this could be partly because he doesn't really need it much (it's kind of just muling for the Luck of the Gambler +Rech Speed) and because if I'm in the middle of combat (on a team too), stopping to fiddle with the target reticle is too clunky. Someone once gave me a macro command string that would 'port me over to whichever foe I have targeted, but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. I have a Savage Melee tank who I adored using Savage Leap on though, so if you could get Combat Teep to work in the way I couldn't, it could be quite useful! I say go for it.

Idle thought i had on this: we already have all this info on our wiki, it could literally be a sort of link to the wiki, except it would show on your screen game, not a browser screen.

Someone somewhere will always mistake suggestions as a "don't tell me how to play!" insult. 😃 I generally like the idea of this "guide" having a good list of questions ("How can I help my Endurance problems?"*) to choose from, but I dunno if the mechanics of the game can be wrangled into spotting stuff like "you went over the Rule of 5 and your build may be suffering for it". Still, it's an interesting idea. *I'd hope to keep it fairly general, I don't want to see advice for putting Stealths in Sprint as "the norm of the game," for example. I know you're mad at me for saying so, yes you, but hey, isn't telling me to put Stealth in Sprint a "telling me how to play the game" move?

Now I want a Storm lightning cloud or Sleet etc. to follow me around, like a toggle.

Just can't quit doing that can you?
