Some day I really should give all-out marketing a try, but my play time's limited and it just feels like homework when I could be busting people. "Maybe instead of this, I should like actually be paying my bills or something." tends to go through my head when I even give it a thought.
I have to get background checked for my job, it was only about fifty bucks until maybe say 2017? So the Snooper poster price was someone gouging for the service back then! These days that price is about right - and still a rip-off when you consider all it is is someone typing your name into a data base and then going "nope, no matches. That'll be ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS please." Talk about villains!
What manner of wizardry is this?! I've never heard of them before, but sure enough, there they are. This info is going onto my master list of game trivia that I keep so I won't forget it. (Maybe a bit onerous to unlock them, but then again, I haven't kept track of how many villains or heroes I bash as I level, maybe they add up faster than I think)
I actually just set an origin for a new toon because I knew exactly what title I wanted. Other than maybe implementation programming troubles that might exist (imagine trying to make all those fit into one window!) or something, I like the idea. It's small fish to go after, but if it's easily achieved, why not?
I was able to get in, but it took like a minute to load the character page, and then a minute to get actually into zone. During that wait I checked the server status page and saw it said "slow."
I have other things to do tonight anyway, so I just did a little market work and then logged out, so I'll accept your thanks here for my work to fix this problem. 😃
Just had a wild thought and made a new character, a Fire/Fire Stalker dressed in lots of the "Mummified" bandages look, shaded a light pinkish red: Wrapped In Bacon.
I recently saw him (apparently) spawn " down below" in one of those ground level areas that's effectively nearly underground compared to all the higher roadways around. Someone had called out he was about to spawn and me and a dozen or so people gathered and flew about until I found him. He was just standing around on the low low level there, but at least he wasn't literally under anything so I could spot him from the sky. Some of the architecture on that map gets so convoluted, I wouldn't be surprised if he happened to spawn in a weird spot and then didn't get found soon enough.
I'd be up for some love for the set, yeah. Had a Poison troller that worked OK, and got a really good character concept for a Poison MM. During the design-a-build phase realized it doesn't work the same way or as well as on troller, and now, despite the killer concept, really dragging my feet here to even finish the build.
I've joined so many 50s teams in PI that I routinely skip them anymore. Always join a DA team when I see one, but they don't come up too often, no. It is pretty easy to run a "any levels welcome!" team in PI, but DA can eat the wrong low level toons alive, multiple times I speak from experience ha ha).
Interesting. That effect aside, is there any case when that's something to keep in mind for slotting, like "be sure this -resist fires first, before the damage" or something?
This is getting rather political, but: Eh, the US has pretty well lived enough with and around other pretty bad states before, what's one more, even if it is nearby and occasionally doing bad stuff to us? Heck, we might even be able to come to an understanding with them and try and get something out of the deal.
