Sooo, just like how my recent T3 Incarnate power is going to cost me all those components as well as 26 million Inf? Yeah, I hate that in other games. 😃

Pretty sure that ultimately a vampire's blood thirst is metaphorical life stealing; blood is symbolic for life, especially in a Christian society. I see vampires as fully magical/spiritual creatures, maybe like ghosts? so there's not much done with the science side of their living off blood (which is indeed actually fairly rare in nature: https://www.sciencenews.org/article/blood-real-vampires-animals ).

The Oklahoman on Excel runs MSR and more really well on Excel, from what I've seen (come to think of it, I don't think I've hardly any "badly run" raids by any one of any sort on Excel). Still though, yeah, it would be nice if these were more wide spread.

We had gold sellers back in the day, for a long time. I used to bump into those villains broadcasting from near the black market in Cap au Diable... which... isn't too surprising, really. But as to if they'd farmed via bot or not to get that gold to sell, I dunno. I never checked into it, but I believe the usual was they'd direct you to a website to enter CC info (the gullibility of some folks! I mean, you're in Cap au Diable!!) to buy the Inf, so that broadcaster themselves might have been a bot so to speak.

Yeah, I started on Indom - really liked the MSRs as I hadn't been able to do them back in the day - but my work schedule usually sees me gaming overnight or early morning. It can be hard to even find a decent PUG at those hours on Excelsior, much less any other shard as it is; Indom would be right out. And obviously I'm just not available during th eprime time for any of those raids. I went through this with Live too, especially once the then-new Incarnate stuff corralled a majority of the player base into grinding the same few things post-50: first I had to leave whatever server I was on to find one with population overnight, then had to give up playing redside for the same reasons.

Which vampire, the classic Drac? The Lugosi or the book version? Like endless iterations of comic book characters*, Drac's been done so often it really helps to throw in some wild cards or to rethink the premise, imho (not that I'm a fan of the pointless rebooting comics though), working from the bottom up or doing a twist on one of the basics like "sunlight doesn't kill him, just leaves his powers much diminished." *"Come see what the newly re-re-rebooted Batman's powers are, now he can summon bats or something!"

I have never found Bots a slog, maybe you needed to turn them off and then back on again? Maybe the secondary wasn't working well there. I've done FF, Emp, and Dark, and never had a bad time of it.

What changes are those?

I cannot express enough how fun Titan Carp sounds.

Never had this happen before: now when I play, I intermittently can't move very quickly. You know how if you just quickly tap one of your WASD keys your character kind of twitches in that direction? Imagine tapping quicker than humanly possible, but you're actually holding down the key, trying to run that direction, but only moving each tap very little, you're barely stuttering in the given direction now, bup-bup-bup-bup-bup. I can't jump because of this, can't fly either. Sometimes it clears up a few second,s only to come back. I'm usually spending more time NOT moving than moving normally. Tried zoning, tried restarting computer. No setting graphically or of any other sort have been changed or updated. My keyboard seems to do just fine typing, as I am doing now. ETA: To be clear, it's not the world that's doing this stuttering, it's not rubber-banding. It's me that's stuttering. Seems I can use my attacks just fine though.

To add to this thread, I sometimes do some flipping, and accidentally posted not one, not two but THREE of my targets at one decimal place less than they were going for - a rare case of "not enough zeroes." Somehow they were not snatched up by low-ball bids before I caught my error and grabbed them back off the market.

Huh, the form apparently only let me submit one, I got "You have already filled out this form, thanks for your interest" when I tried to do a second (mind you, it let me waste my time still filling stuff out before I realized there was no submit button anymore).

Compared to Live, the creep's been the relative ease of chasing IO set bonus and purpling/ATOing out a character, not proc builds, I'd wager. There's a reason they call the "free purple for everyone!" TF "Market Crash," after all, all ha ha. I'm no marketeer, maybe even less than I was on Live, and I still manage to fill out my builds with ATOs and literally every set I want to use (I skip purples because I'm cheap, but I could manage those too).

I'm thinking of how Gravity's Propel objects bounce around like an inflated ball... I don't know if such objects can be targeted with like Repel powers or anything other than collision boxes though. Still though, there's a game for you right there.
