Ivory is an amateur mixologist. Tessamun is a footie fan... She'll go on endlessly about the Nerva Novas given the chance. (Which confounds people in the current era, since the Novas won't be formed until a few decades after the end of the Battalion Wars-) Bahir says that he wants to learn to surf... But no one is quite sure if he's serious about that or if he's just using it as an excuse to hang out at the beach.

Kai is a huge fan of Nick's Weenies... Arte is still systematically visiting every single pizza joint in Paragon City in an effort to solve the question, once and for all, which really does have the best pie in town.

'Still hoping we'll get an Earth-themed epic for them eventually, as well. I faked one with my Water/Fire/Ice elementalist by coloring the ice powers bright green to match the Oranbegan crystals... But I'd love to have a "real" Earth epic for him instead.

Clearly they're just ordinary extradimensional entities with an inflated sense of their own place in the multiverse.

It's not about participation trophies or even leveling other people's noobs. It's just something that we enjoy. Just like you guys enjoy drudge-walking ten miles in the snow. Barefoot. Uphill. Both ways. Carrying ten pounds of rocks. 😝

I'm tempted to try it with one of my regen monsters, but... yikes. Sounds like it would be painful with a capital OW. 😱

That's how I jive what's in the older lore docs about the Oranbegans with what Arkarist tells everyone in his history-dump in Library of Souls. There are things he gets wrong... Or maybe just doesn't really want to talk about for one reason or another. Like his own part in it. So the information he gives is similar to the older history, but differs in some interesting ways... There are a few things there that never showed up in the game itself, too. Tya, for instance. In the old doc, she's apparently the archmage credited with pulling the city underground to protect it from the Mu's airships. IIRC it's at least also implied that she's the one who came up with the "escape plan" ritual that denied the demons the Oranbegan's souls. As far as I know, she's never once mentioned anywhere in-game, though. Possibly because in-game we've never had a single example of a female NPC Circle mage? (In spite of text stating that every man, woman and child from that civilization was a magic user. 😝) Anyway, flexibility is probably the best answer. 'Maybe even the only half-way reasonable one.

I'm not sure if they did for the hellish end of things... There are some pretty interesting things in the old Lore Bible doc in reference to the Oranbegans, but I don't recall a lot about the demons in there. Dee probably remembers better than I do, though. My attention was pretty focused when I was reading through all of that.

It was originally released back in the live days with a pack of "Wild West"-themed costume parts... The guys actually got sort-of a weird cowboy movie-esque gunslinger outfit. The gals got.... a saloon girl. (Thanks, Jay. <_<) The bow was part of that outfit.

They're on the Homecoming Discord... and it's really, really rare to see any of the servers over the limit. Homecoming's population is pretty modest, and spread out enough between the servers that it's generally not an issue.
