Agreed and this has been a complaint for as far back as I can remember even on live. This is a common problem for theme park MMOs where your character is just along for the ride. The overall story narrative for CoX is not a sandbox outside of AE. I truly would love to see branching story arcs implemented some day.

So go to the hospital? Drop ships are not at all difficult to avoid. This is even easier if you have a base with medical facilities. Yes I know what dropships are and what the bombs can do. Perhaps try running somewhere outside the path of the drop ships? Bombs are easily avoided and invasions only last a few minutes. Going to another zone to do another mission is just not a hassle, sorry.

Why would anyone not be able to make it to a train station? You cannot use one of the literal dozens of freely open base teleports available here on these forums? Most all - if not all - of which have trainers, stores, workshops? Trying to paint these invasions as completely trapping you in the zone with no way to exit is a bit of an over exaggeration. The option is do not engage the Rikti and if you want to avoid the invasions, simply take a train to another zone. If you are by Blue Steel, you could not make it to the train station to go to Atlas Park? No offense meant at all, just seems odd that the ability to not participate in the invasion is there, you just do not want to seem to exercise it.

This already exists. It is called do not participate in them and go about your normal business.

😁My condolences. CoH does not require any kind of progression with regard to Task Forces. You can run them so long as you are within the appropriate level range. iTrials I believe may require that certain incarnate slots are unlocked in order to run.

I wonder if writing new story content for hazard zones would make for a fun Homecoming contest? Have players develop story arc(s) and contacts for a particular zone and have a vote on the forums to choose winners. Winning stories can get added to the zone. This would have to be simple and have certain guidelines as in there cannot be any new environmental assets needed and such, just a new contact or two and the overall arc and mission content. I have no idea how much work it is to add a contact and missions into a given zone. However this at least takes some work off of the Homecoming staff.

Gameprint does this for Star Trek Online. You are paying in advance, so there is no ordering prints and then not paying for them. Enough of the player base there is interested and has purchased prints of their ships. Quite a lot of people have been asking for this to be expanded to characters as well.

From what I have read from the various Homecoming staff posts, what they are hoping to do is replace this with something similar to the Oro portal power.

"Better" is entirely subjective.

There are many reasons to slot full sets into powers. Categorizing it as a "mistake" is ignorance and bad advice.

My DB/Nin scrapper does not have Hasten and she does just fine without it. I do understand those who made the choice to sacrifice defense or procs for maximum DPS would be hurt by any changes.

Mine would not. I have hasten in 1 of them and to be honest, I was looking to respec out of it anyway. I also find it funny how there are so many threads on the forums of people complaining how buffers are "useless" at higher levels, yet now people seem to be worried that Hasten will somehow break them.
