I only took assault as there was nothing left of any worth to take once we got afterburner for free. From a tank point of view I don't think its worth it in a lot of cases. Yet another toggle sapping your endurance and a small benefit compared to how you're already protecting the team in an already easy game.

I can only think of 2 double edged swords. Travel powers at level 14 meant you got to know a few zones a lot better and added the thrill of danger and tension. However I love being able to soar through the sky at level 4. So much more freedom. Then there's IO's. I can make toons much better, fill in gaps and skip certain powers to make my builds easier but things can be too easy. Temptation of power vs challenge. One of the reasons I enjoy leveling more than being 50 at times. Looking forward to trying hard mode content.

My live one was either Axe or Axewrath (original main). Since the Mrs now plays we decided it would be 'cool' to have a new prefix each.

With the altis that results from this game I second the motion to have an account wide check-in only. Having now read that the above its too difficult, how about no log out timer from when its implemented?

Focused Accuracy is a great buff for this. You could save up for a set build to get your end up. Ever since I did that on my main its been great.

Damage Modification, buff the damage of Assault, Build Up etc. Also a Taunt set with a knockdown proc.

Only if a toon is boring at low lvl or they serve another purpose. I wanted an Ill/Storm controller since the early days of live. Never got around to getting one to 50. I find just the early powers boring, so that plus long term desire meant i power leveled her. With my farmer I power leveled him as farming is all he'll be used for. Its rare that I will power level anything. There only ever going to be a finite amount of combos I'm interested in and I want to always have something new to experience in this game for as long as it lasts.

Can I cheat and have Gravity Control and Willpower? If not I'd be a Willpower/Psionic Melee Tank. I desparatly need more get-up-and-go and I could grab drinks with my TK. An odd mix of motivation and laziness.

No thank you. Let the smack talkers among the pvp crowd be isolated into certain zones please. That way I don't have to see it all the time in this otherwise wonderful game.

The greatest element of CoH is the customization. More options for everyone is only a good thing.

Yesterday I got in a right mood. I just rolled Justice Bee and wanted to take fly before bed. I had very limited time. Only I chose the tier 3 primary instead. Could I get any mission with enough mobs in, or mobs at all to quickly get to bed? Could I find an easy AE arc for a lowbie? Noooooooo. So I had to reroll and spank mobs in Atlas to get back to level 4. Not making that mistake again!

I'm a shield user so my mez protection is a click. I am aware of how to get the green ring around the power by 'hold Ctrl + mouse left click'. Is there a way to do this by just using the keyboard alone? Trying to program one of my gaming keyboard's macro keys to activate all toggles and to activate my click mez so it stays on auto.

Put simply I don't think coh is modern enough to attract much new blood. I get the piss taken out of me at work by younger gamers for playing coh. It's in a light hearted way but it shows that its only appealing to the old guard because, well, its old. I've been waiting for a relevant thread to bring that up. Not sure much could be done because to get more people interested I'm sure the answer would be to change the game itself. Take a look at Final Fantasy. They had to stop selling it because its so popular. It's the new, up to date kid on the block.

My main is a shield/psi tank. Everyone gets hung up on the robots thing. They forget that as a brute or tank you will outlast them so its not a big deal.

I love it. I've taken it on my storm controller to add even more chaos into the mix.

I'm an order picker. Since my knees have gotten better and I'm back upto speed I get bloody tired. I tend to only play on my 2 days off or on leave due to that.

Atlas Park as a journalist. Low level villains and a ton of heroes always hanging around. Plus most parts look nice.

Watched an interview recently where he debunked the whole 'stars in anything' myth. Apparently there's plenty he turns down.

Its not bad at all. Taunt just before you use it to keep some aggro on you and heal to full. Used to be the ultimate afk tool back in the day when there was no 30 second limit on it. Ice has big gaps in its protection so great healing helps mitigate that.

Back on live I didn't take tough and weave on my ice tank, I took manuvers. That's a mistake I didn't repeat.
