How do i unlock my incarnate slots?
AboveTheChemist replied to Kill N Quill's topic in Open Beta Testing
Auto-granted badges/accolades/incarnates were disabled with the last patch, although incarnate slots might still auto-grant at 50, I am not totally sure about that. Prior to the patch that disabled auto-grants, it was my experience that incarnate slots were auto-granted at character creation. The incarnate slots can now be unlocked with the /badge_grant <badge_tag> command. Here are the badge tags for the incarnate slots: IncarnateAlphaSlot IncarnateJudgementSlot IncarnateInterfaceSlot IncarnateLoreSlot IncarnateDestinySlot IncarnateHybridSlot For example, to unlock the Alpha slot, type '/badge_grant IncarnateAlphaSlot' into the chat. The freebies popmenu has also been updated to include commands to unlock everything that was previously auto-granted. The most recent update is towards the end of the thread, which is where that link will take you. -
No need to download anything, the web app is here: https://n15g.github.io/badger/ Click the 'character' link up top, create a character, and start adding badges to it. The web site is intuitive but if you have any issues check this thread for help, and/or post any questions you have there

I am not sure if anyone will find this useful at all, but I spent enough time testing and verifying all this information for my variant of the badge list popmenu and for the Badger site that I thought I might as well share. Attached is a semicolon-delimited file with three columns of data: Badge settitle ID integer (sorted in ascending order) Badge names, including all variants separated by a forward slash '/'. Most of them should follow the order of: Male Hero/Female Hero/Male Villain/Female Villain/Male Praetorian/Female Praetorian, but I cannot guarantee 100% that every one of them follows this order Badge tag, as used by the 'Badge' LockedOption setting within popmenus, and as used by the /badge_grant command on the beta servers I've checked this data twice in game to verify it is all correct. I don't want to be so bold to claim that it is 100% error free, but I am 99% confident that it is error-free. Feel free to use this data however you wish, but if you do please acknowledge the work that went into creating this dataset. There are 1703 badges within, which includes: 1637 currently obtainable badges (as of May 2025) 3 badges that don't count toward the total ('Beta Tester', 'Bug Hunter', and 'Flames of Prometheus Conversion') 9 badges for 'Once the Victor' through 'Nine Times the Victor' (which ultimately all are replaced by 'Ten Times the Victor' during normal gameplay) 53 Praetorian badge variants, including the Praetorian achievement badges listed here along with the 'Praetoria's Son/Praetoria's Daughter' variant of the 'V.I.P.' badge and the 'Patroller' variant of the 'Patroller/Criminal' badge. The Praetorian variants are treated as separate badges in-game and you'll only earn one of either the Primal or Praetorian variant during normal gameplay, depending on character origin. 1 PvP-only badge variant called 'Temporal Warrior', which is a sister badge to the 'V.I.P./Destined One/Praetoria's Son/Praetoria's Daughter' badges and is awarded upon first login of a PvP-only Temporal Warrior character I've included a (outdated!) screenshot of all the goodies I was awarded for "earning" these badges. This includes 17 respecs, 18 tailor sessions, one very rare (purple) recipe, 575 reward merits (+20 not shown for new badge), 40 Hero merits, 10 prismatic aether particles (+2 not shown for new badges), 21 pieces of rare incarnate salvage, and 36 pieces of uncommon incarnate salvage. The changelog is as follows: In addition, and with tongue firmly planted in cheek, I'd like to stake my claim to the top spot of the badge leaderboard for the the Brainstorm beta server, at least up until the time of the next character wipe. In other words, I spent about 3 hours using /badge_grant and all I got was this lousy screenshot. This includes everything listed above minus the three that don't count towards the total. badge_name_id_tag_out_final.txt If anyone notices any issues with the data, please let me know!

tracker Badger - CoH Badge Tracker Website
AboveTheChemist replied to KeyboardKitsune's topic in Badges
Thanks! I've submitted those updates, as well as the updates for Guardians of Forever, Chameleon, Do No Harm, and True Nemesis that appear previously in the thread. I should now be all caught up with edits that have been mentioned in the thread. -
I sent the badge commands to r0y for inclusion in that version but I've attached them here as well if anyone wanted to add them to their personal version. This file will not work as a standalone menu, but it should be fairly easy to incorporate them into the freebies menu. It contains every important badge that was formerly auto-granted, with the exception of a couple of gladiator badges and the 10- and 25-badge count badges (all of which you'll probably get if you grant all the badges within). Feel free to use/edit as you see fit. auto_grant_menu.txt

Read all about it here (and feel free to post examples if you have some screenshots of what you saw).

Remove Accolade Powers and Badges?
AboveTheChemist replied to Project129's topic in Open Beta Testing
Looks like this was implemented with the latest patch, only V.I.P. and Passport auto-award at character creation now. Thanks HC team! -

Here is what I came up with after earning 'Guardians of Forever'. It's spoilery so I tagged it as such. I have not submitted it to the site yet because honestly I wasn't sure if it was too spoilery and I should make it more vague, or if it was OK to post as-is with a spoiler warning at the beginning. If anyone has any opinions, please let me know! -
Alphabetic Badge List PopMenu
AboveTheChemist replied to Janrith's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
I did a deep dive to check badge names, titles, and set IDs in my version of the menu. I've posted an updated file in my Feb 18 post above, and details of the updates are spoilered below. If you are updating to the new version, be sure to copy out your favorites before overwriting with this version, so you can easily replace them. I can't say with absolute 100% certainty that my version of the menu is now completely error-free, but I am about 99% confident. Of course, if you find any issues please let me know! -

I finished my badge name spelling check and I didn't find any other badges that were spelled incorrectly and/or had any capitalization issues. -
Yes, yes, and the Badger badge tracker.

I have stumbled across that badge on the site a couple of times and it's always puzzled me as well. Thanks for looking into it. I'll run through the process to earn it tonight and write up a description. And I've not forgotten about my promise to re-visit the alignment badges. I've just been tied up with a side project to verify all the in-game badge name text for all possible variants of badges (i.e. female/villain/praetorian), which has led me down a couple of rabbit holes. The results of that should be beneficial for both the Badger site and for the badge menu I modified, though. I am almost finished with that so I should be able to get to some of the other updates by the end of the weekend. -

Yes I think all male hero names are good. I know I submitted a fix for one gender assignment on the Badger site yesterday (a female name was mistakenly labelled as a male name) but decided to hold off on any other submissions until I was able to complete the testing, and that submission should not impact your work since the spelling of the name did not change. I knew from this thread to keep an eye out for a possible erroneous villain name (the one discussed above), and I still have the praetorian names to do tonight. I don't recall seeing any other spelling discrepancies but I can't say 100% for certain that there are none. I should be able to knock out the praetorian names tonight then I will parse my logs tomorrow and submit any other corrections I have. If I do notice anything else, I'll be sure to swing by here and let you know. One thing I learned last night is that the praetorian-specific badge names are technically separate badges with different in-game tags and different settitle IDs. That's a data gap I plan to fill tonight but I can pass that along as well if it would be helpful. -

My pleasure. I am in the process of testing the spelling of all possible variations of badge names (including female/villain/praetorian and all possible combos) in order to update my badge menu and the Badger site. I'm not quite done with testing but when I am I'll submit all the updates I have to the Badger site, and will update my badge menu. -

Here you go. The 'F' in 'for' is lowercase in-game. I found it last night and suspected it might be the issue but I've had meetings all day and haven't had a chance to post it. -
I do the same, and I've had my map situated on the right side of my screen for months and it never moves. I even adjusted its position a while back and it's stayed put in the new position without issue.

Thanks Piyerus! It occurred to me as I was lying in bed this morning that they might be different badges, so thanks for confirming that. I did a quick test this morning before I came in to work and was able to get a Praetorian-specific badge to work. They have their own settitle IDs too, so once I can find all the badge tags in the bin file and assign them to my test characters, I'll run my settitle binds and get the settitle IDs as well.

I am currently using the badge_grant command on the beta server to get the exact spelling of all the badge names (including the male/female/villain/praetorian variants), so that I can make sure my badge menu and the Badger site has the most up-to-date info possible. I've created a Praetorian origin character but when I use the badge_grant command with him, the badge granted has the hero name, and not the praetorian name. For instance, when I try /badge_grant Medic, the badge I get is called 'Medic' when I expect it to be called 'Do-Gooder'. I know Do-Gooder exists, but I am not sure what I need to do to be awarded the badge with that specific name. I've never played a Praetorian before so perhaps it is something simple I am missing. I've been able to get all the other variants except the Praetorian variants, so if anyone can steer me in the right direction I would be grateful!

There are four, actually. The details are in the attached screenshot. There are also a number of currently disabled badges for rejecting specific inspiration types, which only show up via the settitle command, but who knows if those badges will ever actually become active.
-
I appear to have been awarded this on my characters that are currently on the beta test server. Has anyone else that uses the beta servers noticed this badge in their inventory? It showed up for me at the top of 'Accolades', but it does not appear to count towards the total (as noted by Piyerus) nor does it appear in my character info badge list.

VidiotMaps for Issue 24 and Beyond
AboveTheChemist replied to Blondeshell's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
No, there should be both badges and plaques in Imperial City: https://paragonwiki.com/w/images//d/de/Imperial_City_VidiotMap.png Just a guess, but I think by deleting your data folder, you wiped out your install of the i23 map pack. I don't see Imperial City listed among the zones that have been updated in the MoreMaps4U update, so I think that Imperial City map would have been in the i23 map pack. -
Remove Accolade Powers and Badges?
AboveTheChemist replied to Project129's topic in Open Beta Testing
I just tried copying over a level 4 character with only about 6 badges, and he was assigned all the auto-awarded badges just as if he had been created on the beta server. I tried with a level 50 and he was also granted the auto-awarded badges that he didn't already have, so character level prior to time of copy seems not to matter. And for the record I am also in favor of having no badges auto-assigned at character creation on the beta servers. -

AboveTheChemist replied to KeyboardKitsune's topic in Badges
I meant to post this earlier but had a busy weekend. Regarding the badge alignment issues that have been brought up recently, I chatted with KeyboardKitsune briefly and we both agree that while we don't want to take the time to check every badge individually, and potentially adjust the alignment for some of them, it does seem reasonable to adjust them on a case-by-case basis if a compelling case can be made for adjustment. So please do continue to submit badges for which you think the alignment should be adjusted. More importantly, please explain WHY you think they should be adjusted. That will make it easier for one or both of us to decide how to handle it. Further, for badges that are alignment-restricted, I will try to add information in the notes about where those can be found in the flashback system, in order to make it easier for badge hunters to find them. Feel free to add that information to your post if you know it. If not, I'll figure it out. And of course, please continue to submit any other errors you find in the badges! -
I knew an apple farmer once whose uncle was named Bung. On the topic at hand, my incoming supply of yellow salvage drops are typically sufficient to meet my demand, and I occasionally sell off a few stacks. I was a bit shocked to see the price three stacks fetched yesterday (which this thread helps explain, as it was more than I normally get), and even more shocked at what a couple of stacks of white salvage brought in.
