This is basically how I have made inf for the past several months. It is certainly not a fast track to immense wealth, but given that I don't spend a lot as it is, it's a system that provides a decent, steady income with a fairly small amount of time invested. I initially started by crafting and selling anything that looked like it would turn a profit, no matter how small. Then I added converters to the mix to create more profitable IOs. I've advanced one step beyond that and am making an average profit of about 2.5 to 3 million inf per enhancement, and I'm quite happy with that. I store a modest amount of dropped salvage in my SG base and this approach lets me consume that salvage organically while minimizing the amount of salvage I need to purchase from the market (not that there is anything wrong with that!). Once my salvage starts to fill, I just sell off that excess as well. Of the several approaches I have tried for making inf in the market, I find this one suits me the best.

I don't know of one, but I have not spent much time at all looking for one. This is a topic I am also interested in, and if I can get some time this weekend I may take a peek at the pigg files and see if I can find anything useful there.

I'll try to make it if I can.

New Static Team Forming on Torchbearer
AboveTheChemist replied to CrimsonOne's topic in General Discussion
Last night we ran Synapse to take advantage of the weekly TF. I wasn't sure how we would fare against Babbage, but our team of six level 18 not-well-slotted characters brought him down in just over 2 minutes (with no outside help). I was the first one he engaged so I got a good start time for him. The Clockwork King melted a lot quicker than that, at a little over 30 seconds (I was a little behind the group so I didn't capture the exact time of the first shots, so I'm going off his combat chat). 2020-01-14 00:27:11 Babbage HITS you![snip] ... 2020-01-14 00:29:25 Yippie Ki Yay has defeated Babbage 2020-01-14 00:45:11 [NPC] The Clockwork King: Here you are at last, Task Force Cyclone.[snip] ... 2020-01-14 00:45:48 You have defeated The Clockwork King There is still time to join if anyone else would like in on the fun! -
Clicking the badge name on the Badger site will bring up more info about it. https://n15g.github.io/badger/homecoming/badge/tried-and-true On the right side of that page there is also a link to the forum post from these forums about it with a bit more detail.

				Council Empire mission availability
AboveTheChemist replied to AboveTheChemist's topic in General Discussion
No worries, I understood clearly what you meant. Thanks to everyone for the help/advice. Are there any other non-AE Council Empire missions that are decent for farming? I looked through some of the other level 50 contacts but didn't see anything obvious. -

I confirmed that the Persephone Supplicant badge (in Abandoned Sewer Network) and the Terror of the Vahzilok badge (in Sewer Network) are in the same coordinates in their respective zones. I took screenshots too but I won't post those unless needed. -
Is there a way to go back and get Unai Kemen's 'Close the dimensional ruptures' mission that includes the Council Empire? Or is there another mission available through Ouro (or even AE) that is good for farming the Council Empire? I was working my way through Unai's 'To Save a Thousand Worlds' arc and he gave me the 'Close the dimensional ruptures' mission (which isn't related to that arc) right in the middle of the story arc, which I didn't realize he could do. I'd like to finish that story arc but I was also hoping to keep that Council Empire mission handy in case I ever wanted to farm it.

It depends on character level for me. If I can do A Hero's Epic naturally while leveling, I'll go that route. If for some reason I miss it, then I'll do A Hero's Hero. Overall I slightly prefer A Hero's Hero because it is more self-contained, it affords the opportunity to get the Shrouded badge as part of the arc, and I think it's just cooler to rescue Statesman.

I am going all in on ice with an Ice/Ice dominator named 'Arctic Ant'. I am not in love with the costume but I think it is a decent start. I spent some more time at Icon and have come up with a costume I like a lot better (lower). I hope I can make it, as noted Fridays are generally bad times for me.

Why did they turn off the winter Atlas Park decor?
AboveTheChemist replied to InfamousBrad's topic in General Discussion
I was sad to see the winter wonderland in Atlas Park revert back as well, but then I just remembered that Null the Gull can send you to a wintery zone so I can go get my ice sliding fix there if I need to. -
The meeting time is kinda bad for me in general but I'll try to be there this week. I'll probably go with dominator since I've never played one before. My global is @AboveTheChemist
 -
I might be interested, depending on the meeting time. I am on Everlasting (mainly) and have a 50 Ice/Empathy controller as well as a 49 Ice/Ice Blaster if non-controllers are an option. I am also open to making a new character.

New Static Team Forming on Torchbearer
AboveTheChemist replied to CrimsonOne's topic in General Discussion
Quite true, my home server is Everlasting and the only characters I have on Torchbearer are the static team characters (plus a SG leader for my teleport hub base, but I never play her). My retired static team characters will end up on Everlasting eventually. In the meantime, Torchbearer is a great second home! -

New Static Team Forming on Torchbearer
AboveTheChemist replied to CrimsonOne's topic in General Discussion
Heck yes it was. Between the character concept and the powers, I can already tell that Elizabeth Dane is going to be one of my favorite characters. For anyone that might still want to join, there is still plenty of time to create a character and catch up to our level. We even have a few extra character ideas for anyone struggling to come up with their own 80's movie character. -
Here are some I have found. First, I've attached a text file with the names of various enhancements and recipes that have an extra space following the colon at the end of the enhancement name. Along those lines, I've also attached an image (pvp_recipes.jpg) showing a trend I have noticed with the PVP recipes in that most of the PVP enhancement recipes that I have seen don't have the '(recipe)' at the end of the recipe name. I have not exhaustively checked all PVP recipe names, and the screenshot only includes a couple of examples for Gladiator's Armor, but I have seen several others that fit this pattern. A quick look in the auction house would turn up several other examples. The last two screenshots are from mission text, both of which are missions given by the contact Maharaj in Dark Astoria. The first (da_mission1.jpg) is text from the Circle Mage NPC in the Death Magic mission. Instead of dialog text, the chat displays the text reference/index number (I'm not sure exactly what it is called) for the corresponding dialog. The number shown is P856364347 and from my basic understanding of how the game data packed within the pigg files works, there should be a set of text associated with that reference number. The second screenshot (da_mission2.jpg) is system text from the To Catch a <Character> mission. After defeating the portal of summoning, there is a line that simply says 'text'. I have observed each of these mission text bugs multiple times. enh_names_extra_space.txt

New Static Team Forming on Torchbearer
AboveTheChemist replied to CrimsonOne's topic in General Discussion
Here's the character I am using for this incarnation of the static team. She's a storm/sonic defender based on the 1980 movie 'The Fog'. I used a little artistic license but she's meant to be an ethereal 'White Lady' ghostly embodiment of the spirit of vengeance of the antagonists of the film, and is named for the ship they sailed on. I had hoped for a little longer dress but this was the best option I could find in the costume creator. -
I've attached the data. I'm not sure if you'll need everything that is in there, but it's got the settitle ID, full badge name (with multiple names separated by a slash), badge type, sub-badge list (for badges like accolades that are awarded after collecting other badges), and notes. There are about 10 missing settitle IDs, most of which are from the Valentine's event and can be filled in when that goes live. badge_output.xlsx
 -
I wish I had known you needed this data. I could have (and still can) provide a spreadsheet with the badge names and set title IDs. There are still a few IDs missing (as you noted) but now that the Winter Event is over I can fill in most of the missing ones. I worked on the badge data for KeyboardKitsune's badger site and provided the set title IDs (along with some other work). I don't have access to my data right now but I can probably post something later this evening.

Farming Incarnate Salvage - 1 salvage roll every 15 minutes!
AboveTheChemist replied to Oklahoman's topic in Guides
I posted this data in another thread but thought it might be appropriate here as well. I parsed my logs and found 153 instances since July 17th of receiving incarnate rewards via the random table, most of which were from completing Heather's arc as described in this guide. Of the 153 chances, there were 54 common, 50 uncommon, 29 rare, and 20 very rare rewards. In terms of percentages, this equates to 35.3% common, 32.7% uncommon, 19.0% rare, and 13.1% very rare rewards. The chance of getting a very rare appears to be about 1 in 8, the chance of a rare about 1 in 5, and the chance of both common and uncommon each about 1 in 3. -
You are welcome, I am happy to contribute. I originally parsed the logs in Python and performed the analysis in Excel but I have since modified the script to both parse the logs and do the computations. If anyone else keeps chat logs, is reasonably familiar with Python, and would like to try it, I am happy to share my script. I can't guarantee 100% that it will work for you, but I'm still happy to share.
 -
Based on the data I have, you are correct. I parsed my logs and found 153 instances between July 17th and today of receiving incarnate rewards via the random table. The vast majority of those cases were the rewards at the end of the Heather Townshend 'Burden of the Past' mini-arc, but there were a few others scattered in there. I was genuinely shocked that I had run Heather's arc that many times, but I guess those incarnates aren't going to build themselves.

It's not a bug. Running the 3rd mission of episode 4 of the 'Who Will Die' story arc at x2 team size should net the 25 kills needed for the Bloody Hands badge. If you want a little more info you can check the posts in these threads: Safeguard/Mayhem Badges, Mayhem Mission Farm, Accolade Guide: 4 Passive Bonuses. I was going to look into some/all of these issues too over the holiday break, so I may go ahead and submit some pull requests with any corrections as appropriate if you don't beat me to it!
