I'd expect rarer situations to be complaint driven. The game is supported by volunteers, if something came to their attention it would be dealt with. That said, I love the debate, unsubstantiated theorizing and even those play devils advocate. It's entertaining.

While I don't have inside information, it's likely name. The tools are already in place and working to block names. Throwing a couple versions of [Insect-man] into the profanity bucket and that's likely enough to show a good faith effort.

It is sensible to mitigate risk where possible, especially if it is easy to do. I can see it being annoying, but less annoying than not getting to play at all.

Nice build. AND pretty achievable without mortgaging the farm. Tough does have some options. Could slot just Steadfast +3% and Steadfast Res/End to still cap S/L. Or both +Def (Stead. & Glad.) plus one matching Res/End. That could free up a slot or two. It might make the build more End heavy. Physical Perfection helps.

Nah, I wouldn't say you were wrong. Sometimes an interaction just does not work out. I don't know what else was happening a the time. Also, there's no need to beat yourself up over making mistakes or realizing you didn't need to do something. Many have done the same thing. Some of us may have taken longer to learn. Personally, I was happy to play two of my first characters for almost six months around level 30. (this was when level 40 was the top level)

You'll get grief if saying you'll pay for AE farms in global channels. Might have success in local channel in the AE building. Likely you dont need to pay, folks are happy to help level folks up. Oops - didn't see this wasn't a new post.. my bad.

Eesh. If we are on at the same time I'd be happy provide some assistance. Feel free to shoot an in-game tell. That said, I can see in the chat you posted where things may have gone wrong, at least a couple times. It looks like the person was trying to help but had trouble for one reason or another. Some of that trouble seems to stem from a newbie 50 needing 200 million before they can play their toon. There is no 'right way' to play. If it's not fun at level 20-26, it might not be fun at level 50+100.

Oh geez. The word 'many' does not mean 'majority'. It's actually a vague term and if the count is more than just a couple handfuls it's use may be appropriate. I will double down on the irony of telling people how to post while falsely accusing them of telling you how to play.

First, the average person takes between 17,280 and 23,040 breaths a day. (at least per the EPA. I have not actually counted) Second, the irony of telling people how to post while assuming they are telling you how to play. There can be a variety of opinions on a topic.

Yes this is a better version of the answer from @Murcielago which is likely helpful for a player who doesn't know there is a functioning test server.

It's the current normal. Example: Logging in and enhancement trays show full when they really aren't. It goes away quickly. My guess, the original rules show up and then the overrides kick in. Sometimes a setting will get stuck and a refresh is needed. (zoning, logging, purchase, etc.)

99% Will it last 6 months? Likely Will it last 5 years? Less likely meanwhile it is fun to play again and almost everything is unlocked (costumes, alt slots, double xp, etc.)

That's what test server is for, isn't it? Roll your 50 and then roll another. Avoid all that pesky content.

Gold star! Very, very interesting Energy Melee info. While likely not going to change slotting on Energy Transfer or Total Focus, I will totally try re-slotting Whirling Hands and leaping's Spring Attack for a damage dealing boost.
