  2. The preference between Speed Running or Just doing the Mission is one that really gets personal. I prefer to play the game for the games sake. I waited for YEARS to get this chance to Play again and don't understand this desire to speed through EVERYTHING. I understand to a point wanting to set a new Fastest completion time, but when you do everything you do that way it's just Min-Maxing. I go with whatever the Person with the STAR says, If they say fast, off we go, If they just want to do the mission, off we go. If you don't want to do the mission WITH the TEAM, you should be SOLOING, pretty simple. You can always quit, form your own team and since you have the star do whatever floats your boat. I've been on teams with my defender where the Tank/Brute would bounce from group to group not holding aggro, and leaving all sorts of stragglers behind, just to get 2 mobs ahead of everybody else. Went through more Awakens than I care to mention on that, and it really wasn't fun for anyone but them. I guess you have to think about why you were invited to the team, usually I'm thinking the team thought you were going to be helping them not indulging yourself.
  3. You hunt XXX villain and then realize you had to do it in another zone.
  4. Cimerora, The Hive and the Abyss are the only ones exempted. You could find missions with a daytime setting from contacts or from AE. Or better yet build an AE Mission with a beautiful Sunny Landscape and just a glowie to complete the mission, It would give you something to cheer yourself up.
  5. Probably a the Freakshow Tank Halloween Costume Power, Time to get Trick or Treating...Plenty of Doors, so little time.
  6. Exactly, If on the case we were discussing it was a Arachnos Soldier, if slot "0" is the default, if you /cc to "10", are you sure it didn't just error out and load "0"? I only have 7 Slots so I can't test it.
  7. I'm thinking that if you save all the visible ones, with a unique name for each costume, you can then go back into Tequila and view the list. If they are all there ( I'm just speculating here ) you may be able edit the File to copy saved costumes to the unseen slots by adding the slot number ( 0-12 ) to the costume info. I would try just one, then switch it, if possible, and see if it works. Just Brainstorming here. I can't seem to find a load costume to slot slash command. Been thru the chat command list, strange they have multiple commands to switch costumes and nothing to slot them. I'm thinking it is stored on the client side somewhere so that should make it editable. What is the external costume editor that you can use to craft then load costumes, bet those folks may know how to do this.
  8. I'm with the divide and conquer, I did the whole process once so far but didn't get the Terror badge for some reason. I was at 2 of the banners, got badges for 3 of them, so it may have to do with teams within the leagues members participating at all 4 or something. Who knows. Understood, and nice summary of the Facts.
  9. Little late in the discussion for that. We have been, for a few Days, trying to figure out what you actually have to do to have a successful Deadly Apocalypse. Paragon-Wiki did not have anything mentioning Strategy. I found this and we have used it as a starting point, and after several different people have run the mission we now have a pretty solid strategy to be successful at it. We aren't building a Wiki here, just trying to figure out the best way to do this. The OP went without a reply for a very long time and I was just trying to help, mission accomplished, the thread sorted out truth and misinformation. You just have to read the whole thread.
  10. Yeah, that part I was not sure about because I was only in one place, but I know it being Early Morning, we didn't have a huge league and there wasn't much time left on the clock when we got the banners down, granted we split up so we could get them all going down so maybe if we went from one to the next it might work. The only thing I noticed was the kind of metered way the spawns appear, they weren't coming in massive groups, just kept adding a few more all the time. They were never really a threat, just took time, but if we were all at one would they spawn faster, getting us more defeats quicker with a big group, to buy us the time to do another Banner, Guess Someone would have to try it.
  11. I was part of a successful Banner Mission with a League on Wednesday Morning, I was off to the side of the Circle most of the time Taunting the new Arrival spawns to me. I heard the same discussion from others but I just think you have to defeat X number of Defenders at each Banner, and within the 20 Minutes allotted, then the Banner becomes Targetable, Take them all 4 down to spawn the Big Bad. Which means you need teams at all four Banners at the Same Time or it's a wash.
  12. This was posted by Brigg to get Costume files from Players to add to his AE Comicon Missions, but it might be a route to get those unseen slots to be useable. " To get your costume file, it's very simple. You'll first need a saved version of it. If you've never saved it, go to a Trainer, Icon Employee, Surgeon, or Trina the Body Sculptress in Pocket D, select the costume you want to save, and in the Tailor Tab (the main costume edit tab), click the save button under the color palette. Your player name is usually the most ideal choice. Next you'll need to go to your Costume folder inside of your Tequila folder. This may be different for some of you, but there's a super simple way to find out exactly where this location is. Simply open the Tequila Launcher and click on the Options button in the bottom right. A popup window will show "Install Path" just above center left. This is where you'll find your Costume Folder and your file. If you saved it as SuperJoe, the file will be SuperJoe.costume." by Brigg Make sure you Save ALL of the visible ones you want to keep and name and number them something you can identify them by. Then you would just need to reload the saved ones at ICON or at the Facemaker to the unseen slots, that then frees up the visible slots for modification. Not sure how to tell it which slot but I think you're just going to have to fiddle with it. Hope it helps, good luck.
  13. Lot's of badges to be had AGAIN, already got the first 2 costume ones, all but the Terror Badge from Deadly Apocalypse ( not sure how I missed it ), now need go visit Dr Kane and finish up my ToT Defeats, then tomorrow.........
  14. I have a Stone / Fire Melee Tank ( Livingston ) and remember well all the changes that kept elevating some and tearing down others. I always used TP to get me around but understand what you mean. Maybe if it went from "no run, no fly" to "slow run, slow fly", that would make sense after all, a pile of rocks, no matter how magical, is still a pile of rocks and is not going to be winning any races. It would fit the overall theme of stone also.
  15. Had this happen a lot on Live with my Illusion Kinetic Controller ( Goldfever ), If I new it was coming it was usually manageable, If I wasn't paying attention, it got very grim, really quick.
  16. Irradiated Ground ( Radiation Melee )
  17. Silence is Golden. Duct Tape is Silver. Bullets are Lead.
  18. I think you need to reread the OP content, and remove the hyperlink. I feel my Psychic Abilities beginning to tingle........
  19. Independence Port is a trudge if you are at the far end away from Hospital, any Hazard Zones before the Mini-Hospitals were put in, but I think the all time champs are Firebase Zulu or the Cascade Archipelago. Talk about Frequent Flyer miles racking up.
  20. About time I managed to get in again, Donating is more of a competition than the game, sheesh...
  21. Geez, I forgot all about that, that was a pain, we have it so much easier now in lots of ways.
  22. Been sitting back as this topic kept growing bigger and bigger, and really wasn't sure what i could add. Then I remembered this. That's 9936 Brutes with Fiery Aura versus 6232 with any other Defense/Damage Resistance Type. It has never been considered the best Set for mission play but is perfect for Fire Farms. That's almost 2/3 of all Brutes have Fiery Aura and I think that pretty much tells you how most people in game feel about Power leveling and Farming. You will have those that prefer doing Regular Content, I'm one of them. But I still PL some Characters and Prefer to Play Content with Others. For me if I am playing a new set I like to see how things work slowly, see where I need to shore things up as I level, and rarely Respec. The Person you encountered had his Opinion formed long before he spoke to you, but his responses, and yours show you are from 2 different points of view. Even though it escalated to a place, on both sides, I think he needs to look around and realize that the Game was never quite like he believes it was. There was always Power Leveling, used to be Fire Controllers and the Dreck Mission, before AE, that people used to Power Level, and something else before that. This has always gone on. We wanted our Game back, We got it back, warts and all so to speak. Just keep in mind that if Even Half of the 9936 are Farmers, there may be more of them than Us. Anyway, Have a Great Day.
