  1. Well then you just go your own way! 😁
  2. I'll check it out as a possibility, thanks for the suggestion.
  3. Hey there, Below find a revamp of the build, mainly incorporating suggestions by @Caulderone and @Sura (thanks folks!). This version Incarnate-softcaps vs Melee and Ranged (not AOE, off by a few points) without taking Agility Alpha. I might still take Agility, though, mainly for the +EndMod and +Rchg. I'll probably start with that one then try another (but I don't yet know which). Later, and thanks for the feedback! 4. Nope, no Damage Aura in the Shield set. I'll take a look at how it shakes out if they're in those two powers (I use both of those all the damn time). Thanks.
  5. That is a very reasonable change, with small scope, that looks like it'll have a significant effect. I don't fight +4s as a general course of action but I'll definitely look at that as a change to make. (I might have already 2-slotted BU, so I may have to burn a respec on that, oh well.) As much as it usually irks me when someone answers the question I didn't ask, that was good, so thanks a ton, man. 👍 Later on, Generator
  6. Hi there, So I've got this Tanker up to 47, and honestly so far she's performing like a dream. She's a little heavy on endurance usage, but I know that can be fixed either with my Alpha slot or when I start getting more heavily invested into Invention Sets. The one thing about which I would really like to get some feedback, is the placement of the "special" Sets in this build. By that, in this context I specifically mean the tanker AT sets and the Winter sets. if anyone has any feedback on where and how to place those particular sets in this build, I'm all ears. Please note that as of my initial posting of this, all I have available is the data link. I'll put the actual descriptive build in here at first opportunity. Thanks for your time! Have a great day. 7. Of course, all props to Sunsette. /raises glass @Chazcon, do the LOTG's count as their own thing, or are they the same as every other 7.5% bonus? The answer to that might be the answer to your quandary.
  8. OK, it's all coming back now. That someone would go to that much trouble to be a jerk about it is a little sad. Anyway, thanks for the recap. I promise I will be a good citizen if and when I finally start getting alts to Incarnate levels (I've had a slight altitis problem recently 😁).
  9. I want to thank the both of you for this stuff. My rampant altitis has me going to my Beam/Inv Sentinel next, and I didn't really have a build set for him yet, so this was an enormous help. Much appreciated. @oldskool, that's two now. I think I owe you a beer! 🍻
  10. Welcome home, OP!
  11. I know all about the Regen Wars, I lived through the whole thing. 🙂 It just struck me that, numbers aside, people might not think of Fire Melee as a choice that aligns thematically with Stalkers.
  12. I'll flout my ignorance here. I'm so deep into my altitis, I'm here 10 months and I have yet to get into a Lambda trial. Can you remind me what the grenades do, and exactly how this is a d*ck move? Thanks. And OP, nice job finding a way to find the perp.
  13. Yeah if I was going to use it, I would use it slotted for damage. I would probably migrate a slot out of buildup into the snipe, get myself five good slots working there.
  14. Thanks, always good to have some points of comparison. I'm probably going to keep Mu Mastery for theme/concept reasons, but let me ask you (and anyone else reading along). For entry into the pool, is the snipe better/worse than the regular blast? I'd figure that most of the time, if I wanted to snipe, I might as well get in their face and use Assassin's Shock.
  15. If we're going to suggest alternatives for the defensive set, I'll throw the suggestion in for Bio armor. If you choose one of the minimal FX versions it's not too big a stretch to flavor it as some sort of adaptive nanite sort of thing.

    Rikti Herding?

Let me ask, why do you think it isn't working? And as far as your Secondary, is there something specific you want from it? Most of them can at least put something on the table...
  17. Isn't that exactly how Katana became the set as we know it? IIRC in its original incarnation it looked a lot more like Broadsword does, and so "Original Recipe Katana" had its animations shortened/sped up into the set that's there now. At least, that's my memory of it.
  18. Hey there, I'm sure this is "bigger than a breadbox" but it's always something I wanted, so I'll throw it in. For Rogues and Vigilantes, what I always wanted was Tip missions "on the other side of the fence," (Paragon City for Rogues, the Isles for Vigilantes) that reinforce your current alignment. Like in Paragon, Rogues only get tips that can make them a Hero, and I always wanted to see them be able to be Rogues there. As I said, I recognize this would probably be a significant amount of work (a whole new set of tip missions or options for the existing ones, plus making sure the new stuff doesn't make the whole alignment system go kablooie), but I figured I'd at least bring it up as a wish-list item. Thanks and have a great day. Generator
  19. Last night on Excelsior, I ran a Moonfire TF with a great team that included a controller named something like "Amethystian". She had a great costume that used the crystalline arms. Player said they were going for "80's cartoon princess" look, and they kind of nailed it.
  20. I am on the cusp of rerolling my Fire^3 from back in the day. He was a hoot, and getting KB > KD in Bonfire feels like it might be even more fun.
  21. The Stalker type I intend on taking to 50 (but is currently only 26 after having created him last night) is Elec/Elec, which was about 14th or so on the list. OP, one theory as to why you stand so relatively alone is, Fire Melee maybe isn't viewed as a "Stalkerish" set? Just a thought.
  22. So I got around to digging out my old Elec^2's build, and trying to update it to modern standards. I won't claim this is the best it can be, but I think it'll do right by me. If you've got feedback I'd love to hear it.
