  1. Ah, I have to confess I haven't done this in months, probably a couple of months before the WP sale to get rid of inventory before it was seasonally adjusted.
  2. You can open literally hundreds of packs in seconds with these macros: salvage_open S_HVSuperPackSalvage$$salvage_open S_RVSuperPackSalvage salvage_open S_WinterPackSalvage You can put them all together or break out the first one into 2, I have them set up this for whatever reason. Just click click click click click until they're all gone. The animation for opening one will still play but the packs will continue to open. Then you have to manage the drops and I can't help you there.
  3. The pendulum has done swung:
  4. That's for 4 star Aeon and ITF. That's hardly the death knell for confuses.
  5. It's the end of MY AE farming. I only value one asset in game right now - Empyreans. So I currently afk farm my alts to vet level 48, then off they go to the end of the bench. Without that, I'll dust my hands off and say I'm done. I suppose, if ixp is still granted I'll potentially do AFK-ing to open lore/destiny, which is a current practice. I don't PL lowbies and I couldn't give 2 craps about inf and recipe drops now. I have more than enough of these assets to outfit toons in literal perpetuity. So... success devs! Just like they had success in getting me to stop doing CoT.
  6. I was playing my Necro MM with headphones recently' with sound at 1 entering doors was absolutely ear splitting. I'll try to use the sound editing utility to change that, it's ridiculous. My other MMs aren't that bad.
  7. Ill/traps has been one of my faves on HC. As you noticed, the cooldown period for the most important powers is significant so that means 3 things - recharge, recharge and recharge. It's clearly not a budget build and I would suggest going back with superior recharge bonuses in mind. A few things that are important - Acid Mortar is a must have. For AV/GM fights you can stack multiple of them and they're huge difference makers with -res. Don't slot procs in Seeker Drones. They simply don't work, don't slot procs in Seeker Drones unless you're seeking specific bonuses (I sometimes 6 slot it with Cloud Senses for both the recharge and range def bonuses so I have to include the proc). Just for reference, here's how I went. I would have loved to use more procs but couldn't make it work in combination with +rch and +ranged def objectives. illtraps - Controller (Illusion Control).mxd
  8. There exist farms designed to give drops at those levels. I just searched "fire 40" and "fire 30", had to wade through a bunch where the numbers meant something different but I did find examples where I was set to 25 or 35, at +4 I was fighting 29s/39s. These should drop what you're looking for, I got a lvl 39 Touch of Death, for example. If I were to do this in earnest (I won't) I'd drop the diff down since, for my guy, final to-hit was too low and fire def of 38 meant I had to be attentive either chewing purples or using the occasional heal/green insp. The /fire brute was still a good tool for the task. If my objective were to play lvl 30 roulette I'd actually just put in bids for large lots of lvl 30 recipes of uncommon sets that go to 50 and get a lot churn.
  9. Here's a real time current state: The "for sale" number includes the amount seeded by the devs. Generally that's 10M, which you'll see for all 3 tiers of salvage and super packs. Some items look to be a bit less than 10M and I'm not sure what that reconciliation is, but the rule of thumb, as I understand it is, 10M is the dev seeded amount, the amount over 10M is the player supplied amount. In the below case there are 2,945 yellow salvage pieces for sale. There are 47,377 bids. I'll let someone crunch those numbers for how many clicks and time spent that is, but it's a far far lesser scale than "millions".
  10. Not sure if there's a question intended or just venting. 16 is part of "the dark days" of any MM. You just got Faraday Cage which is a big big help. I haven't paired Thugs with EA but I would make an effort to place the FC so it covers Bruiser in melee (not a concern for you at 16) and the others at range. At this point you've got FC + a very fast recharging heal, a heal you'll be relying on greatly for a while to come. Eventually you'll get Insulating Circuit (lvl 35) which will increase survivability even further. The 6 unique IOs for res/def/regen all make a huge difference and Thugs has plenty of spots to slot them. I've put a lot of time into MMs too and I think EA is a very solid support set.
  11. At some point last week, yellow salvage went from "normal" prices (as low as 150 inf) to a minimum price of 10,077 inf. Now, I can't query that transaction history nor the current ask/bid prices but over the past ~week the lowest price I've seen is 10,077. Put a bid for 10,076 and another bid for 10,078. The former will not fill until this current manipulation has concluded. The latter will fill soon*. *soon varying greatly by intraday fluctuations. So I'm very comfortable surmising there are thousands of bids for 10,077 inf. Is this the result of some organic supply/demand shift? Well, I'd need some convincing of that.
  12. I hate contributing to this thread because this is all that trolls want - attention. Just put up 10,100 for yellows if you need it now, otherwise put up your normal bid which will be filled in a few days. Since HC I can only think of a couple of periods where yellows > 1k for an extended time. This too shall pass...
  13. It's a complicated topic that seems to have exceptions to any rule. Someone has indeed delved into the special IO pieces, check out https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Set_Enhancements_with_Special_Effects
  14. I'm market apathetic, only bothering to craft purples and pvps so I do end up using yellows occasionally. When I need something I don't have I put my standard 3 figure bid out for yellows and 99.9% of the time the order is fulfilled with the next 24-72 hours. Being apathetic I don't have any urgency to have orders filled. So, just posting to say "patience grasshopper".
  15. My suggestions: Option to always decline teleports This was a fairly recent suggestion and I really hope it gets some consideration. Get rid of hunts To be honest I probably rage posted this after a session full of inane hunts. While I personally would like this it's not high on my priority list at all. Request for a middle tier "currency" for Empyreans This one I would really like. I groan more than a little when I "retire" a character and see something like 23 Empyreans that I'd like to move to my Emp bank. Purely QoL. A Notes field on the character selection screen I would still like this but by now I've grown accustomed to work-arounds using my spreadsheet. Change the KB proc in Stupefy to KD This got some pushback which is too bad. I really like the bonuses from Stupefy and I'd use it fairly frequently but random kb, especially for a control set's aoe stun, is unacceptable (for me). Request for targetted AOE preview Would be nice but eh, I've gotten used to a cone targetting strategy that I'd probably still adhere to even with a target preview. Some real talk about Ghost of Scrapyard I do believe I help effect some change here. Some GMs commented and shortly after Scrappy's spawn method was altered.
  16. The quick and easy solution to aproaching the RM cap is to convert to hero merits. Or vill merits if you prefer.
  17. 6 slotted max level TOD: acc: 43.43 dmg: 96.65 end: 62.73 rch: 43.43 6 slotted max level Mako: acc: 66.25 dmg: 93.64 end: 66.25 rch: 66.25 Just for yucks here's TOD if all the pieces were lvl 50: acc: 47.7 dmg: 98.29 end: 68.9 rch: 47.7 TOD looks light for slotted accuracy. Personally I think the best change for TOD would be to change the D/E/R to a quad (A/D/E/R). TOD at lvl 40 changing D/E/R to A/D/E/R: acc: 60.31 dmg: 96.28 end: 60.31 rch: 41.01 I love TOD's bonuses but I rarely use it due to it not passing my requirement of attacks having a final 95% chance against +3s (including all to-hit and global acc bonuses) unless I make other build sacrifices for acc bonuses. If the D/E/R were changed to a quad, I'd use it frequently. For the record, I am not suggesting any changes, just sharing some results I found while putzing around.
  18. Ginger Yates (35-40 in FF) has an arc about Mr. (Dr.?) Pasalima.
  19. VEAT Soldier Venom Grenade is worth mentioning. Add Shatter Armor from Mace Mastery and they enfluffify a hard target. A very nice, surprising source of -res is Bio's Evolving Armor. Obviously it doesn't compare to a debuff set but the -7.5 debuff is quite noticable. Blaster Sonic Manipulation.Disruption Aura is even better. Any change to HT came before I joined in I7. The DM defender I made back then did not have -res in HT.
  20. I used to view it as merely a prereq for Fold Space but I've grown to find it arguably even more valuable. I pretty much take it on all meleers now, great way to chase runners.
  21. Unless I'm light on global accuracy, I tend to go 3 boosted Shield Walls + 1 attuned LotG 7.5. If I happen to need to global acc (rare but it's happened) then it's 4 LotGs.
  22. Fold Space, Benumb, Siphon Power, Fulcrum Shift and Heat Exhaustion are the powers that have me thinking unslot/slot (or even respec) to use Provocation. Benumb especially since it has a high base recharge:uptime ratio. I've never been a "value consumer". I just acquire what I want to use and not worry about marginal gains. This particular D-Sync though makes me at least do a thorough analysis of "is it worth it?". I think for Benumb it is. At this point I use 2 for Benumb, though I haven't combined to 53 yet. I'll use them as I happen to get them from the Aeons I run, which isn't terribly frequent. The end/slow/rch is another high value D-Sync. So far I've only used it for Tar Patch. From what I understand the PVPers loved the microfilaments and they were the drivers of the high price. That's fine with me, I wouldn't use it if it had Dmg/Mez bargain basement prices so I sell those ASAP.
  23. MMs are my favorite, by far. Out of the 116 characters I track, 20 are MMs, twice as many as the next highest total for any other AT. Well, I have the same number of Stalkers but most of those are "administrative", doesn't really matter. My point here is I'm answering from the perspective of a MM aficionado. All that said there are many major annoyances - uninterested minions for several seconds after exiting an elevator, for example. The OP though is asking for one thing. I think it's going to be something a power leveler (or heavy teamer) wouldn't even notice - the late teens, early 20s struggle. Enemies seem to ramp up and if you're actually playing in the Rogue Isles there are a number of enemies that are really MM unfriendly, with lots of aoes. This is my perceived power chart for MMs. Data was meticulously gathered, don't even ask. There's just a period where you lose ground while everyone else is getting stronger. So that's my #1 complaint, I'd like to see a smoother ride. I could fill out a top 10 complaints very easily as well. Again though, my favorite AT by a long shot.
  24. This is your experiment, but I don't think you can accurately judge a primary until the second upgrade is included., robots especially so. They're painful without the second upgrade. I'm thinking of doing something similar for Cold. I've already got 50s of all but Beasts, Mercs and Ninjas so might as well finish the set.
