My SG had a team of Pool Power heroes. You get your level 1 powers.. a power from primary/secondary at level 2 and the rest are pool/epic powers. Mine is a Water/Nin Sentinel ... who still has capped defense to all positional damage. It's fun to make them and see how effective they can be 🙂

The GAME has always been about the option to solo.. I did not say you could ALWAYS solo. Reading is fundamental.

I never once said "always." There is obviously team oriented content in the game, but there is also a solo oriented way to play the game as well.

Just because there IS team content - that does not mean you cannot solo. Seriously. I know plenty of people who NEVER teamed once and had multiple 50's of every AT. Was it fun... I guess to them it was - would it be fun for me to solo.. oh heck no... I loathe soloing, BUT that does not mean that you could not do it on ANY AT - depending on what content you decided to do. You could street sweep your way to 50 if you wanted to - the OPTION is there. Listing content that is meant for teams does not mean there is/was not content that could easily be soloed by any AT. Naming instances does not take away from the fact that the vast majority of this game can be soloed... maybe not 99% but that doesn't mean that 80-90% cannot be soloed. Just because you may not want to do it...doesn't mean you can't. The original design... encouraged street sweeping. It was not uncommon in Issue 1-4/5 to see people running around various zones (solo and in teams) street sweeping. ALL that being said... the main reason I play CoH is because of teaming... soloing bores me to tears.. I like the social aspect of the game. I don't solo because I can't solo and advance... I don't solo because I like playing and chatting with others.

I never said it would be fast or fun.... BUT you COULD. Listing a few missions or instances does not mean one could not solo the other 99% of the content. The point of the post before people jumped into the "what about X" semantics is that the game was made with the option that every character could do solo or team content. Even towards the end the dev team was still trying to add solo content for players (See new Dark Astoria). MANY toons would find soloing an AV difficult, but that doesn't mean the other 99% of the game couldn't be soloed by that AT/character.

City has always been about the option to solo...which is why every AT CAN solo... CoH is still mainly a team oriented game.... I think in the entirety of CoH I have MAYBE soloed 20 missions... out of boredom.

For clarification: Excelsior is the most populated server. It is a general server that doesn't have any "unofficial" status (Everlasting=roleplay and Indom=pvp... unofficially). Population rank: 1. Excelsior - Frequently in the red in afternoon/evening/night - 1100+ 2. Everlasting - Occasionally in the red in afternoon/evening/night - 1000+ 3. Torchbearer - Steadily in yellow in afternoon/evening - 700+ 4. Indom - Steadily in yellow in afternoon/evening - 500+ 5. That would be an absolutely boring combo. How would you "arrest" anything? The whole point behind CoH is that you can play solo or in a group with any AT/powerset. Them telling you it was a good idea... is a great example of why I have already removed GENERAL from my chat tabs.

I haven't ignored anyone (yet) on HC. I do use the note system a lot for both good and bad players.

No... what that demonstrates is that it is possible (which we all knew). It doesn't mean it is something people enjoy, something people want, or something that would benefit the game/players. Seeing as that server has a very low population compared to HC... I would not use them as an example of what "works." -

My main is an elect/elect corruptor and I don't find it any more clicky than...any other set. I mean Empathy is pretty clicky... heal other, heal aura, absorb pain, clear mind, fort, adrenaline boost.... -

Meh. Seems a lot of these suggestions simply want to make the game easier...which it isn't hard already. I'm of the mindset that not all sets have to behave/damage/etc the same.

Literally nothing you can do to entice me to play redside aside from the occasional SF and patron arc. Redside was never a heavily populated area; except for the first few months after CoV launched in 2005.

I have no issues with the animations... you are being zapped with electricity... you should have that type of reaction imo. The sound could be lowered somewhat as it can be a bit loud at times. -

And? The SET as a whole is strong. This was already discussed at length for the past 6 weeks in beta. It as tested and tested and tested and discussed at length. Many changes were made to the set to make it an overall good set. -

Gonna have to say No to this one. Reducing it so that it can chain... no thanks. I liken it to Adrenaline Boost from Empathy... a single target buff that greatly helps one person. With everything Electrical Affinity already does with chains... I like that Amp Up is a single target boost to one person. Not changing it and making it a chain would be OP... changing it to accomadate a chain would require a lot of nerfing to make it not OP and then it would seem lackluster. -

Difference being that people need to stay in a 25 foot radius for these buffs. Making the castable mez protections act like SB etc seems a bit OP to me.
