  1. Yeah, she looks... difficult.
  2. To be clear, you're voting in favor of leaving a specific, likely chance that a player will be completely unable to proceed, caught in a death loop that is literally impossible to escape without logging out or using an exploit command to leave the mission. That is what you want to keep in the game?
  3. That guy looks like an a-hole. I hate how he's the first face you see when you go to create a character. Male Face 7 or Male Face 10 would be much better default faces for when you first create a character.
  4. Bentley Berkeley makes a lot of claims, but this one was so ridiculous I had to actually test it. I set up an AE mission with an even-level Superfreak, a Freakshow Elite Boss. I hit it with Kinetic Melee's Assassin's Strike from Hide, with 100.8% damage enhancement, Build Up, Boost Up, 21.50% damage bonus from set bonuses, and the Superfreak having -30% res to Energy damage from its own resistances. All of that, on a very-high end build, was able to do 1/3rd of the Superfreak's health. So sure, these claims could be true, if you never actually fight anything, and instead exclusively Assassin's Strike from Hide and run away while it and Build Up are on cooldown.
  5. Sakura Tenshi's got it right. This mission is not a fair challenge, it's essentially killer GMing. You die before you even finish standing up from your defeat when you rez.
  6. My guess is that they wanted you to have to slot the power in order for it to result in a net end gain.
  7. Everything that Homecoming has done since it launched has been carefully considered and done surgically. If you are part of the closed internal testing of future changes you should keep your feedback internal as well instead of going on the public forums and announcing that dreadful nerfs are coming to the general population. Especially since, as the upcoming changes aren't being tested publicly yet, there's every chance they won't go through as-is.
  8. You've probably already said too much. You've definitely succeeded in scaring a bunch of posters with ghost stories about nerfs, and I'm not sure what you were hoping to accomplish with that.
  9. But they're supposed to be useless, they're just gangbangers.
  10. 👍
  11. It wasn't though, it was still in beta at shutdown and wasn't necessarily what the final result would have been if development had continued.
  12. Plus holds are way useful.
  13. I think Freezing Touch is more worthwhile to slot up as a hold than as an attack; the damage isn’t terrible, but it’s no Freeze Ray, and it can easily perma-hold a boss once slotted up. */Ice excels in melee range thanks to Ice Patch and Frigid Protection, so it’s not as hard to leverage Freezing Touch as, day, Shocking Grasp from */Elec. Frozen Aura is also not terrible for melee-range control, although I probably wouldn’t recommend it unless they change it to do damage like the Ice Melee version.
  14. Blue Steel's the exception that proves the rule. He was always supposed to be Shield Defense, even before it was added to the game, which directly contributed to his meme-age since his accomplishments could never occur on-screen.
  15. Hero 1 was empowered by Excalibur but there's nothing to suggest he actually used it to fight. If he did, he likely would've brought it with him on his final mission rather than leave it with Ms. Liberty. It has everything to do with his AT. Hero Brutes did not exist at that point in CoH's development, full stop, so he could only have been a Tanker. The Honoree uses Energy Melee powers, and literally no other Riktified individual displays such abilities, so the only possible explanation is that he already had those abilities before his transformation. She has Mind Control and Force Field abilities, what more proof do you need? Again, when Sister Psyche's in-game abilities were put together, Hero Dominators simply did not exist. Neither did power customization, but she had purple blasts entirely unique to her.
  16. I have no doubt damage procs' day will come.
  17. Hero 1 is an Invul/Energy Melee Tanker, since he can be observed using powers from both sets. Scrappers don't have Energy Melee, and he's a hero character that predates side-switching. Thus, Tanker. Sister Psyche is a Mind/Force Field Controller. The purple energy blasts are her signature powers.
  18. It's 3 times as strong but can only go off once in an AoE. It's not a bad compromise.
  19. But if it's not what they intended and they don't realize it's happening, how can they note it?
  20. It seems like if it's not working as intended there definitely wouldn't be a patch note.
  21. That'll do it. Those crystals are infamous for spawning reinforcements based on the number of enemy targets they see, not the number of players.
  22. Enforcers’ leadership only affects your other henchmen, not any pets you have from your secondary or Lore pets or even the MM themself. The flavor text for Gang War says the posse aren’t really loyal to your gang so them being similarly excluded from those powers fits conceptually.
