I don't understand why teaming with other players isn't incentive enough. If you exemplar fewer than five levels you're not even being noticeably reduced in effectiveness, so why would there need to be an incentive?

Shards are still a better option for making the t3 Alphas. The only problem I see is that when they made threads drop from all content, they didn't do the reverse and make shards drop from incarnate content, so you have to keep doing normal content at 50 to be able to take advantage of the t3 Alpha thing.

This would make sets with those ally shields have better defenses than a typical Sentinel, and all it would take is a trip to a P2W vendor to pick up one of the buff pets to bounce your buffs off of. Have to say no.

You can spend merits on whatever you want. I still got my IOs and I'm nowhere near low on inf or merits.

Put it in any attack you use a lot. You can use T1 and T2 attacks when you're held, yeah, but you likely won't be able to build up enough stacks of mez protection before you either die or the mez wears off if you get mezzed in the first place.

My main has 417 hours on him, and with no farming or overt marketeering paid for the IOs for two other characters and himself. He has enough resources on him to IO another one or two, and many of those hours came after I stopped using that character's resources to IO characters, AND I bought a lot of IOs directly with merits.

This change does not increase the number of floaty texts, it only diversifies them! 😁

Do you have any ammo powers active while using it? IIRC it only does knockdown with Standard ammo, so a proc from a knockback effect might not be able to trigger unless you're using Standard ammo.

Scrappers do Critical hits, not Stalkers or VEATs. Instead, when they do their extra damage from Hidden or at random, have the floating message say "Sneak Attack."

From what I've read about the implementation on the other servers, this is an understatement. It works, but it's incredibly kludgy and tends to require a lot of zoning or logging out and then in for the changes you make to stick.

Better to put it aside for Dark Consumption than Touch of the Beyond. A single-target tohit debuff and terrorize effect can still have some use, but a PBAoE end drain on a crazy long timer with a tiny radius is completely superfluous in a set that's going to have a sustain power.

Turning TotB into a PBAoE toggle would probably violate the Cottage Rule. I think it would be better to change it back to Touch of Fear, and do something with Dark Consumption to make it into the sustain power instead. That would probably violate the Cottage Rule too, but Dark Consumption as it is is made pretty much pointless by sustain powers anyway. I wonder if Dark Consumption being available as a fallback end management power is why Darkness Manipulation has the worst sustain ability of the secondaries...
