You can see the same effect if you go downstairs in City Hall in Echo:Atlas Park -- there are NPCs there who will occasionally wander across the corridor in midair, popping out of one wall and disappearing into another. srmalloy Posted March 3 Posted March 3 It is a particularly picayune quibble, but the western end of the runway in Neutropolis is marked "01". The standard marking for airfield runways, going back long before the appearance of Marcus Cole, is that they are marked with the first two digits of the heading an aircraft would need to be on to land on that runway. So a runway aligned NW/SE would have "13" at the northwest end and "31" at the southeast end. The runway in Neutropolis is aligned east/west, so the number marked on the western end of the runway should be "09", not "01". 1

gameboy1234 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Dunno if this is a geometry error, thought I'd mention it... I just Flashed Back to Angelo Vendetti in Port Oaks, and walked out of a mission door when I did so. Except there is no door there, it's just a blank wall. I *think* there's actually a door there, it's just set back into the wall so that you can't see it. The system seems to see it tho, so I'm wondering if it gets assigned to a regular mission it might be blocked and a player couldn't click on it. Might want to look into it. Approximate location: [-408.3 144.1 1338.5] in Port Oaks.

srmalloy Posted May 25 Posted May 25 It's not properly a geometry error with a zone, and doesn't actually affect play in any way, but one of the whiteboard objects that are placed as glowies in door missions has the whiteboard proper misaligned relative to the frame and the text on the whiteboard: This is a long-standing problem, having been in the game since fairly early on Live, but was never addressed because it had no affect on gameplay.
srmalloy Posted June 1 Posted June 1 It has absolutely no effect on gameplay, and therefore should be way down on the list of things to fix, but the planes for the War Wall force field graphics don't line up with the pylons at the tops: The reason why I say it has no effect on gameplay is that it's only a visual quirk -- not only are these featureless planes above the tops of the War Walls themselves, they're also above the max height you can reach in a zone (which is below the tops of the War Walls), so you're never going to be able to reach them -- they just show up this way when you're close enough. They do stick out a bit from the pillars of the War Walls, but they're only visible there when you have an 'inside' corner, like on the east side of Skyway City or Talos Island.
