My desktop (had it playing CoX back on live) and tablet are 10+ years old, so I'll let someone else get a screenshot if they want.

Any sunset on the water with no war walls.  The green mist in Perez Park, I'm afraid that might get lost on a remake of PP. Atlas' City Hall floor with the "reflection" (yeah, I know how they did it). St. Martial's casino street at night, sans mobs. 

 

I don't get the "Matrix" room. I think it's boring.

It is nice to be reminded.

 

My everyday view is the Rockies. It takes a visitor, on the way home from the airport, saying something like "Wow, how beautiful!" to remind me to look.

I would like the waterfalls to be better graphically.  Especially the ones in Eden and the northern island of Nerva (with the cave underneath). But that probably will never happen, or by 2040 with the redo of those maps. 

 

Thanks for the screenshots. My aged hamsters appreciate it. They hate it when I turn graphics to max even for a few seconds. 😉

I adore the "Save Baby New Year" map, hands down my favorite.  I really like it when the sun's going down, the sky gets that really deep navy blue color, and the lamp at one end of the bridge near the front of the map comes on.  This is entirely subjective because I adore winter and darkness.

Brickstown and Skyway have some really cool Brutalist scenes that I don't think are appreciated enough.

Dunno about "most spectacular", but if you mean it in the "awestruck by the grandeur of the universe" sense of the word, to me it is the sunset as seen from the front steps of the Talos Island Wentworth's, looking south. That one gets me (in a good way) every single time I see it. Sometimes I log out my characeters on the Talos WW front steps in the hope of catching a sunset the next time I log in.

I rebalance brightness and Contrast on some images if they're too dark, and I resize and crop sometimes... But mostly that's just my graphics settings.

Run on Ultra and play around with the advanced settings. I don't remember off-hand what all of those options are set to on my installation, but I cranked it to the proverbial nines and then tinkered until I managed to get the shadows, reflections and that "soft-focus" look for more distant objects exactly where I wanted them. It took awhile. 

 

ETA: I should add one thing. Be warned... Those graphics settings do come at a price. Even on a stout machine with a good card, you'll see some slow-down and mobs that fade in an out when you jump into something with a lot of "moving parts", like a ship raid or the meteor farm map.
