I managed to do both Darla Mavis  arcs  redside on my Necro/Dark Mastermind .  The first took 26 minutes while enduring player debuff + no temp powers.  And I got a ~5 minute phonecall in the middle.   The second took longer, but I was doing it with no enhancements.

L24-29

Villain:  Aurura Fades.  3 Missions.  Kill 10 Longbow (plenty grays and greens nearby).  Kill All Longbow +Click Glowie (Map is small).  Take down elite boss (map is small island.  Even without stealth it should be possible to swim around, avoid longbow groups, and attack boss directly).

Villain:  Power Mine.  3 Missions.  Click 3 glowies, each triggers ambush.  Defeat All(Lost on smallish sewer map).  Rescue and escort to nearby glowie (last mission may require travel to Cap au Diable.

Hero side level 1-14 I'd go for Twinshot's arc for most of the debuff stuff. It's long, it's boring and you do have to travel (so not for that one) but there's mostly "talk to" stuff going on. The fighting you have to do is mostly supported by (very annoying, slow) mission pets so it's a really good one for most of the different limitation badges.

And scheses it's annoying how vague the badges are about what ouro missions count and doesn't count. For that alone I'm very grateful for this guide. Good job!

Edit: One major problem is that most older guides rely on old information. A lot of content was added since then, including some really great story arcs. At level 15 hero side I've got an alt now that does everything in the game (hero side). A lot of XP OFF for that and I'm going a bit insane over the "Kill X something" hunt missions, but 1-14 I've found several contacts and special map missions I've never seen before.

Just to add to this excellent guide, I found a VERY fast villain mission in the 1-14 range,

Operative Kuzmin - Underdogs Never Win

Part 1 - kill 5 longbow on the street, all grey so done in a second, all very close to the contact

Part 2 - Interrogate Longbow Prisoner - again, close to the contact, simple talk to mission, done in seconds, especially if you chose the last option for the conversation

Part 3 - Find 3 codes from Longbow Technicians, once again, close to contact, kill 3 pairs of longbow for the code keys

Part 4 - Arm 3 more bombs - Once again, close to contact, 3 glowies to click, all the nearby longbow are grey so don't affect you, all glowies close to each other so done in seconds.

Part 5 - Destroy Longbow's Base in Mercy - Only actual door mission in the arc, very close by, always same door, kill a couple longbow to get the costume, run past everyone to the final room, listen to longbow conversation, click glowie, kill two lieutenants and then defeat ambush.

The last battle against the 2 lieutenants is the only slightly tricky parts, especially when debuffed or no enhancement, but the whole arc takes just a few minutes, maybe 5 minutes with no travel powers, is very fast and also works great for the time and no deaths mission as well. Got all of the badges in about 15 minutes earlier :)

This is an amazing arc for Flashbacks and the Defeat 1,000 Longbow badge.

Part 1 is endless level 2 Longbow while the player is level 7.  Most attacks will one-shot the NPC.

For the 20-24 you can do the Smoke and Mirrors from Twilight's Son. There are 4 missions, all of them are in Ouro: defeat boss; defeat boss; defeat boss, rescue 7 NPCs; defeat boss; rescue 2 NPCs. Takes around 7-10 minutes to complete, depending on your challenges.

This is a brilliant recommendation for this level.  Despite the warning on Paragonwiki about needing a team it's extremely quick to solo on low difficulty.  Quick note: in the final mission, the two hostages are located at the side pillars in the boss room. They don't have any text on sighting and I found them quite tricky to spot on the first run.

Another 20-24 recommendation from me: The Buried Past (Faultline, Doc Delilah) I just did the last run in 9 minutes.

5 missions (2 talks in there): Grab a glowie, talk, defeat boss+glowie, defeat boss, talk. Maps are small.

No Travel was a bit annoying (because Faultline) and the 2 EBs might stunt low damage toons, but only on the no insp run. Got to make sure you kill the Engineers because force fields are no fun with no enhancements...

Level 15-19

Hero:  I Lost My Daddy!  5 missions:  rescue NPC, escort NPC, ambush; talk to contact; defeat 10; find boss (beware mezzes); find NPC, escort NPC, ambush (beware mezzes).

Villain:  Breakout At The Zig.  3 missions:  click glowie; escort prisoners; defeat all.

Villain side this one is a little quicker - approx 15 mins depending on settings.

Villain: Master of Destruction. 3 missions: defeat all; destroy objects; destroy objects.

Whelp, slowly but surely, just finished this today!

Thanks for the guide!

Also, side-note, if you've a decent build/toon, you can stack No Insp/No Enhance on some of the lighter combat arcs, when you don't need to worry about Epics. Means 3 runs, instead of 4.

Death is the best debuff.

Also, as I'm now running through ALL the content redside, no challenges, since I've gotten all the badges, I'll see if I can't add any to the list...

Snake Uprising 6.02 - 3 Mission - Hunt 5, kill all, clear boss room. It is against snakes, though, which can be tough on some builds.

Death is the best debuff.

Great guide and I have some questions.

If your character doesn't actually have a travel power you can still get the badge?  Does this turn off things like Hasten and Combat Jump as they are in travel power pools?

Are there different Ouro badges for blue and red side?

Mmmmm think that is it.

Yes, you can get the badges, I don't have a travel on my main. You lose the powers themselves... IIRC, I kept Hasten, unsure if I kept CJ on "No Travels". Obviously, I lost them all on "AT powers only".

Most of the Praetorian missions have short distances to travel (100-200 yards to mission door from the contact.)  These would probably be good for "no travel powers."

The Praetorian missions (in Flashback) are in the level 10-14 list, the level 15-19 list, and the level 20-24 list.  They include the arcs that have one of these words in the title: Responsibility, Power, Crusader, or Warden.

Superbase passcode (Excelsior) is "passcode-6475"

It's all a Nemesis plot.  But not everything is a Nemesis plot!

Haven't gotten to this yet, but I really should.  Great guide and additional info from all!

When doing the No Enhancements setting, do you just lose the enhancement values or do you lose the set bonuses, too?

Twilight's Son does not work, at least it didn't for me last night.  Was very upset since I had "no enhancements" on, making it extremely unpleasant to complete to put it mildly...

I kind of vaguely recall from live, though, that the Ouroboros TFs didn't count even though they don't grant any badges.

Set bonuses too.  The only things you keep are global enhancement bonuses like Numina's Convalescence +Regen/+Recovery, but ONLY if the power it's slotted in is active.  If you have it slotted in a power you took at level 40 and you're doing a level 29 Flashback, you won't get the bonus; if you have it in Health, then you're good.  Likewise, if you have Blessing of the Zephyr: KB Protection in Fly, and you have "No Travel Powers" set, that won't be active either.  Even if you have BotZ: KB Prot slotted in Hover, which technically is still active under that challenge (just doesn't grant any vertical movement), you still don't get the effect (LotG +Rech doesn't work either).

Make sure you have Ninja Run - it doesn't appear to be consistently flagged as a travel power for the purposes of "No Travel Powers" or "AT only powers".

I realize this is a dated post; but I just did this (before seeing this) and can state that it DID work for me. Took about 17 minutes without travel powers and no enhancements. The other runs were in the 7-8 minute range.

So "BADGER" has the ranges as 1-15, 16-20, 21-25, etc. and notes that the in-game text is incorrect. I think that explains why "I lost my daddy" shows up in level 20-24 in the pillar menus (it's level 20), and why it supposedly gives the 15-19 badge (because really it's the 16-20 badge and the in-game descriptions are wrong). Unless you can adjust for all that stay away from anything that's right on the border (20, 25, 30, etc).

some other suggestions here when going through this process:

- Put an aspect of the flame in your base, and when you are defeated you can go to your base. clicking on the pillar allows you to return to the contact. clicking on the portal / entrance takes you back to the mission door. This also means you can use ye olde death taxi to get to your base. There are debt badges anyway, so why not?

- Load up on inspirations for those "enhancements have no effect" runs. Put an enhancement dispenser in your base! Or if you do anything on any character where you never use inspirations, then put an inspiration collector in your base, and dump the high-end inspirations in there. Use the P2W vendor to refuse small inspirtations on those characters so you'll have medium or large when you go to empty the tray. Use them up when you are on these flashbacks.

- They haven't disabled "Long Range Teleporter" for no-travel runs, so you can always go to Talos Island which puts you within (super-powered) spitting distance from a base portal and a tram.

- You can use "Burden of the Past" as your level 50 mission, since in you probably already know these 4 missions if you've been grinding for incarnate components. I've run it hundreds of times and did it with no travel powers / enemies buffed in 20 minutes. I DID get the badges for level 46-50.

- The Aura of Power is good for hero-side level 31-35

- The Ouroboros Initiation is good for level 36-40 (minimal travel involved)

- I'm doing a level 45 flashbacks right now and my incarnate abilities are usable! I don't know what the cutoff is, but the REAL level for the badges is 41-45, so a level 45 might be easier than a 41 if the 45 lets you keep your incarnate abilities, right?

- Be aware of the bad text in the badges. The real levels are 1-14, 15-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50. Each mission from the Aspect Pillar tells you exactly the level you will be capped to for the flashback.

- If you use sprint for a cheap stealth, temporarily put a run speed there instead, since you will be "jogging" through lots of the no-travel content. And maybe finally put a run speed IO into swift and a jump IO into hurdle if you haven't bothered yet.

- If your AT or build sucks for any of these challenges, consider a secondary build for the low levels, and maybe even pick different pools for this case too.

- If you ever dual box, you can have another toon (not on the team) run around and drop ouro portals and/or base portals for your handicapped toon doing traveling the hard way, or things like fortitude, speed boost, etc.

This is a bit of a necro, but I have to ask:

I notice the requirements for a lot of the "villain" badges is much shorter. Is this the same badge for heroes? Would it be more efficient for me to switch to villain real fast and snag the easy arcs, or is the badge different?
