JKCarrier Posted Thursday at 05:29 AM Posted Thursday at 05:29 AM Currently, I've got my base's teleport beacons grouped by alignment, with one teleporter each for Villains, Praetorians, and Co-Op zones, plus 3 for Heroes (grouped by level). It works fine, but I was curious to see if anyone else had come up with a more logical or efficient way to arrange the beacons. Troo Posted Thursday at 07:05 AM Posted Thursday at 07:05 AM (edited) Alphabetical split into four A-E, F-K, M-R, S-T I've seen folks with more elaborate set ups to organize a task force putting zones together and in order. Similar with badges. Edited Thursday at 07:06 AM by Troo nice work on yours! 2 "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) tidge Posted Thursday at 01:25 PM Posted Thursday at 01:25 PM My approach is basic: #1 - Low-level Blue Zones #2 - High-level Blue Zones #3 - Co-op Zones #4 - Red Zones #5 - Praetoria / Shadow Shard 1 1

lemming Posted Thursday at 03:04 PM Posted Thursday at 03:04 PM I tend to layout my portals Paragon, Hazard, Coop/Shard, Rogue Isles, Praetoria as such in all my bases. Makes it easy to remember and gives a little wiggle room when stuff changes. 1
Ulysses Dare Posted Thursday at 06:34 PM Posted Thursday at 06:34 PM I've tried it various ways. Currently, my portals are arranged in alphabetical order. I like relieving the mental load of having to remember which zones are city and which hazard that's required when you split the hero zones up that way. 1 1

It's why mine are right next to each other so all are in reach from one spot (at least PC, Haz, and Co-op) 1

I debated separating out the hazard zones, and ultimately decided that the difference between them and city zones wasn't significant enough to justify it. Of course, now that changing alignment is trivially easy, you could argue that the difference between hero and villain zones isn't that significant either. In which case, lumping everything together alphabetically might make the most sense. But after spending all that time color-coding all the destinations, I probably won't, 😁 --- 64453 - This Was Your Life? - An AE arc that lets you relive your hero's greatest triumphs! Doesn't matter whether where I'm going is Cap au Diable or Croatoa, all I have to do is ht the first t-porter in line. 1
Forager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Alphabetic always seemed weird to me. I group city and hazard together. 1. The cab is Low level blue + Pocket D 2. The hot rod is High level blue 3. The 4x4 is Red zones 4. Praetoria is of course the coolest looking, least practical teleporter and I never use it. 5. Shadow Shard is at the complete other end of the room. 6. The flyer is Terra Volta, Kallisti Wharf and RWZ because those 3 just seem weird to me and are separate. I have another one elsewhere in the base with Atlas Park, Talos Island, Peregrine Island, Grandville, Pocket D and RWZ as a little fast travel station. I end up using that one a lot if I'm over there and see something on LFG.
