  1. Maybe a grav/rad or grav/energy dominator. Could also go with a human-only warshade - kind of fits the theme of using defeated bodies as "raw material".
  2. As the title states, can we please be allowed to combine 3 SOs of the same level, origin, and type into 1 of a different type, (retaining the same level and origin as the 3 that were so-combined).
  3. Maybe it simply added a Cryptic and E3 logo to any screenshots taken...
  4. Tried that, to no significant effect. Still, I agree with your sentiment about the storm beta thread.
  5. Well, it doesn't have to be super tied to the meta, but for instance, making it really really obvious where the borders are of your storm cell and which enemies are impacted, was asked for again and again.
  6. And any other AT won;t have access to their AoEs, depending upon what level they are exemplared/malefactored down to. Sure, pets have lower base damage, but you also get up to 6 of them, they cost you no end once summoned & upgraded, and although it can be a bit cumbersome, they can be resummoned quite often. Do you drink critically? 😉
  7. I thought that used the Sky Raiders model.
  8. I wholeheartedly agree, but at the same time, an important question to consider is to what extent should powersets fall in line with the game's meta, where teams move quickly from group to group, and sets that require extensive setup ahead of time, underperform as a result. I don't want to see all sets made homogenous, but I at least want to see things like setup time given a little more attention.
  9. I agree that the beast mastery could use some love, but at the same time, and unlike a player, those powers can be used by each of your 3 wolves, 2 lionesses, and dire wolf, so you basically have 6 AoEs, and that doesn't include call ravens, giving you a grand total of 7 AoEs, (plus any from your APP/PPP or other pools)...
  10. If that's the case, then isn't that basically already doable with a bind or macro? Heck, you could just copy-paste some generic "Hi I'd like to join your team" text ahead of time, then hit ctrl+v after selecting the option to send them a tell...
  11. And how would this request appear to the recipient of said request? It would have to be some sort of popup, as that is how requests are handled in-game. It's the same for teleport request, friend requests, and so on...
  12. I got a storm/ninjitsu sentinel to 50 and well IO'd out. It's a fun set, and can do good damage given the right setup and circumstances. That being said, the added complexity of needing to get enemies into your storm cell or category five is just more work than the subsequent return. I love lightning strike, and some of the other powers are quite fun, but compared to many of my other 50 sentinels, it's simply extra work for not enough of an extra reward...
  13. Is it just me, or is anybody else seeing new reaction icons for posts, like a Bulgarian flag or a bowl of ramen? Here's an example:
  14. Between /ignore and generally being able to remove myself from the in-game drama, the only times I really felt like taking a break was when I was in a taskforce or trial, where removing myself would cost me a good amount of time invested, potential awards, and/or leave other members of the group in a weaker state...
  15. Tells do not cause a popup like I presume this feature would, sort of like a teleport prompt...
  16. This proposed "Ask to join" feature could also be used to grief or harass people - imagine you wanted to join a TF or trial, don't get in for whatever reason, then proceed to make the leader's life a living hell by spamming requests to them. What I could see, is if a team leader wanted to open their team up to random joiners, would be to add a "join open team" sort of function...
  17. Saying "here's what you can do with what we have now", as you pointed out, does not mean that all further development should stop nor that someone's suggestion will never be realized. At the same time, assuming that in-game descriptions of powers are "set in stone", with regard to how you, the player, interprets those powers and how they tie into your character, is simply a failure of imagination. As @honoroit pointed out, even dark powers, with careful color selection, can appear as light-based ones. I mean, heck, they've offered alternate stone melee mallet powers that don't use a mallet at all... but that contradicts the power's name! How can this be?
  18. Peacebringer Luminous Blast powers are basically an amalgam of radiation and energy blast powers, recolored...
  19. Well, I was thinking more the WWII type that wrecks machinery and generally makes life a living hell for folks... only this one's friendlier!
  20. No Ninjitsu on brutes, I'm afraid to say...
  21. I have this idea in my head for a "friendly gremlin" character - basically they are mischievous and cause enemies to have bad luck, while being tough to grab themselves. I was thinking storm blast/martial combat could reflect this, with having a storm cloud over your head being a traditional way of depicting someone suffering a bout of bad luck, and martial combat reflecting my character being kind of "slippery" and difficult to catch. What are your thoughts or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for reading!
  22. My interpretation is that the OP is stuck in the zone altogether. That being said, if worse comes to worse, they can simply allow themselves to be defeated then choose to go to the hospital, which is away from any enemies and from which they should be able to safely get to the tram/monorail or tunnel portal.
  23. But does the first iteration of the pet become the 2nd with the new powers? The question isn't whether the powers are granted, but whether the resulting upgraded pet is the original one or a new entity.
  24. My instinct is that they are completely different versions - think of it like how a level 1 council rifleman may have like 2 attacks, but a level 50 has like 4 - even though they may look the same, they are completely different entities. I agree on your last point, though.
  25. City of Data appears to show the upgrades as incrementing different versions of the pets. For instance, MastermindPets_Genin becomes MastermindPets_Genin_2 with the first upgrade, and MastermindPets_Genin_3 with the 2nd one, (with separate iterations for each subsequent power they get), but maybe I'm misinterpreting what is says...
