  1. It's basically something like this...
  2. I'm sorry, I'm not terribly familiar with all the different IO sets. I already have the unique +def and +res IOs in Jounin and Oni, if that's what you mean. The acid mortar applies regen and defense debuffs, IIRC. Even with tactics and 3 tohit buff IOs in it, my genin and jounin will have difficulty hitting enemies that are +3 or +4 to me, sinc they'll be +4 or +5 to them, hence the extra acc. I suppose I could slot more def debuffs in acid mortar, though... Thanks!
  3. AFAIK, there are no new costume models in the works right now. I do, however, very much agree that some more shorts options would be great. I find it odd that, at least for women, you only have super tight shorts or super baggy ones. There is an option under bottoms with skins that is kind of half-thigh length shorts, and several of the short skirts with skin or tights are really more like shorts. regardless, when it comes to costume options, I say the more the merrier!
  4. All you have to do is fire off either your 1st or second attacks from your primary once the orange bar is full. Since you are forced to take at least one of these powers, how is it possible to *never* use opportunity? Did this player remove whichever 1st power from their primary that they chose, from their rotation?
  5. Quick question, folks: If I run an AE mission solo, I get some AE tickets for defeating enemies, and some for completing the mission. If I'm in a duo, (tested as both the team leader and just another team member who's not the mission holder), both characters still get XP, but no AE tickets. Can anyone explain why this is and/or if I'm doing something wrong. Thank you!
  6. I think your link is messed up... I can't see anything.
  7. Or... if you want to keep your travel power on all the time, you must choose to devote slots to said power, then slot things like end redux, to compensate... It's an opportunity cost you must pay, in order to benefit from the convenience.
  8. So for a bit of an RP reason, I've been playing a Ninja/Traps MM. She's about level 30 ATM, and I'm mostly slotted with regular level 30 IOs and the +def and +res pet-specific ones. Besides the primary and secondary powers, I've taken aid other, aid self, mystic flight, assault and tactics. I'm not looking for a specific build per se, but general advice or tips. Some enhancement slotting of note: Call Genin: 3 acc, 3 dmg Cann Jounin: 2 acc, 3 dmg, 1 +def unique Oni: 2 acc, 3 dmg. 1 +res unique Force Field Generator: 3 def Tactics: 3 tohit buff, 1 end redux Thank you kindly! 9. So do you play with both hands kind of scrunched over to the right side of your desk, or do you move your keyboard way to the left? I sometimes also bind 'E' to various commonly used powers - kind of reminds me of the use/interact key from some FPS's.
  10. Well, if you want to go by the definition, a 'Sentinel' is someone who stands guard, but not necessarily a bodyguard, per se. If you're against the notion of a "fill up bar, click button" mechanic, then how about this: You have a location-based AoE, which designates a zone. Your stats are buffed while you are in this zone, and enemies who enter it suffer some kind of debuff, (or maybe they're just drawn to it, kind of like a taunt). Basically, you become the master of your domain, while in this zone. It would kind of be a "hold the line" effect; It wouldn't play well with a fast-moving style, but for stand-up fights, you'd be extremely tough... Edit: I was just thinking - maybe it'd be easier to you designated the zone as a PBAoE effect, and it extended a certain diameter from where said ability was cast.
  11. No, thank you! 🤩 Hit 'n Run has decided to form a squad of her own, (I know Ninjas aren't the best MM set, but her bow is kind of important 😛)
  12. What if we kept the offensive and defensive opportunities, but had them function differently; 1. Offensive opportunity greatly buffs range & damage, but debuffs defenses. 2. Defensive opportunity greatly buffs all defensive attributes, but debuffs damage & range. They'd sort of act as "limit breaks" in either direction. I'd also divorce these effects from the 1st 2 attacks - perhaps grant 2 innate powers, which become clickable (but mutually exclusive) once the bar is at 90% or greater, to enable 1 of the 2 modes..
  13. I agree. The problem, as I see it, is that many builds are very tight, so people don't want to "waste" a power pick on hover, then slot it up to provide a better movement speed while in combat; They'd rather petition to have regular flight turned into something that would function the same way, but with only 1 power pick. Personally, I don't think there is enough weight with regard to power picks as it stands, and as such, there should actually be more risk/reward/cost involved in picking your powers and when...
  14. Yes, I'm aware of that. What I mean is that hover is the combat flight power, (heck, I think Peacebringers even call their version that)...
  15. Isn't flight's end cost and suppressed speed kind of why there's hover in the first place - as a combat alternative? It'd be nice if teleport could lose the temporary hover/immobilize, if and when you don't want it. There's already sprint as an alternative to SS while in combat, (and we all get swift for free). Similarly, SJ has CJ...
  16. I bind z to my sprint/ninja run power(s). I bind r to my flight or jump pack powers. I have started using mousechord for an ally-targeted heal and a leftdoubleclick to a self heal. I also sometimes use mousechord or ` for domination. I use alt+leftmouseclick for petcomall goto passive on all my masterminds. I have been using the function keys for various costume changes. I use numpad 9 for the auction house and numpad 6 for my enhancement management screen. 🙂
  17. I get that, but axe & war mace aren't actually *exactly* the same - they're using different weapon models and dealing different damage types. That's actually pretty significant. We don't have another melee powerset that includes, say, a war mace attack somewhere in there...
  18. Well isn't the point of the auto-logoff to free up the network resources you were using, since you've been AFK for however long they determined you should be kicked off for?
  19. I kind of made a similar suggestion here, only focusing on just the heavy weapons. I doubt they'd add a set that utilized any of the attacks from other existing sets. I could see using single pistol ones, but not dual pistol, and shotgun ones are unlikely to be reused.
  20. Thanks for the feedback! Here's a revision: 1. Snap Shot 2. Slash 3. Aimed Shot 4. Hack 5. Build Up 6. Whirling Sword 7. Rain of Arrows, (using the adjustments suggested by Steampunkette) 8. Blazing Arrow 9. Hawk's Insight
  21. I kind of feel like fistful of arrows wouldn't suffice. Maybe a scaled-down version of rain of arrows? Honestly, I'd be fine with dropping the snipe. What about blazing arrow there, (scaled properly for being moved to the 8th spot)? I figured the bit of lethal/melee defense might be useful to a dominator that wants to stay close to the enemy - easy to stack it and all that, too...
  22. *Post moved*
  23. I can second this! I had kaninchenbau do a piece for me too, and here it is:
  24. Rename your pets, then try this, from Paragon Wiki, (Gives an inspiration to the named pet): /inspexec_pet_name inspiration petname
  25. Go far enough away and they'll teleport to you. You can also use grant invisibility on them, then put them in passive follow, to make things a bit easier. Their recharge is about a minute, so if it's going to be that long until your destination, then just unsummon/release them. You can also take group fly, (though you'll need to let them catch up to you). None are perfect, but there are ways to work within the system.
