I also have a Redragon keyboard. I've had it about 1/2 a year now and it is still going strong on the OG keys and switches. I think I did the "brown" switches, if that matters at all.

I don't know why opening options freezes your PC, but if you only need to turn on XP for your character, log in as that character an enter this slash command: /option_set NoXP 0 That should turn XP back on for your character until you can figure out what is causing it to freeze up on you.

That is the highest number that can be stored in one register. 2^32 power. But another register could be added to count influence higher if the need was great enough. You can only count to 5 on one hand (register), but if you add another you can count all the way to 10!

Likewise. I just wish that it provided "invisibility" to the faction that matched the costume. It would be GREAT to be able to use the Carnie costume to not aggro carnies while it was toggled on.

When this happens out of the blue, it is almost always an anti-virus update / change that isn't letting the game save the file. Check your exclusions for cityofheroes.exe or see if you can set the game directory to be excluded -- or at least the screenshots directory.

The workaround you are doing is the only solution I've found thus far as well.

After looking over the list of changes, I have to say that for me this is the best QoL patch that I can remember. The location and thumbtack changes alone are incredible. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

It seems like this might be the perfect use case for the Sentinel. I popped in to give my 2 cents for the Sentinel being a fun, easy AT to play.

The test servers are pretty much like this now. Log in, make a character, give it as much XP as you want to be whatever level you'd like.

I would just like the option to "lock" piece in so it didn't randomize. Sometimes there a parts of the random character that look good to me, but I'm not patient / skilled enough to change everything else. I'd like like to lock that part in and keep hitting random. Conversely, I sometimes have a costume close, but want to look at some other options. If I like the head, face, hair, etc... It would be nice to get some random help in the remaining areas without wiping out the stuff I liked.

Just a hunch, but check your AV software. Something has probably update and it isn't allowing CoH to save into the directory that the power customizations are saved. I haven't seen this particular issue mentioned, but there a couple of cases on the forums where taking a screenshot could crash the client and in those cases it was AV software related.

I had a Dominator that was running out of end a lot. I had intended to slot this way but hadn't bought the enhancements yet. I finally picked them up and it made all the difference for her.

It was mentioned before in this thread, but I think it bears repeating that you can activate the Long Range Teleporter power and while the menu is up, instead of selecting a teleport location you can click the "Enter Base From Passcode" macro button you've used in the past and it will take you to the base. You can do this from anywhere, no need to be next to a base portal. I find myself doing this a lot of time since I don't have zone badges for a lot of my characters yet.

I bought some Winter packs, but I tend to hold the proceeds in case I need them on an alt. BUT, I definitely FELT like I was make a good purchase on the packs -- until now. I spent more than I would have if I wouldn't have thought they were on sale. Kind of the definition of sale, right? Spend more than you should on things you don't need because it is a price you can't resist.

It looks like you can right-click on the AGV and temporarily disable it. You wouldn't want to keep it that way, but it might be a useful test to see if it is or is not the problem.
