If the event ends on Nov. 1st, the last 2 weeks would be Oct. 18 - Nov. 1, not Oct. 22nd... so we only get eleven day of Eternal Night... That makes me sad.

The animations and attacks, at least some of them, exist in the animations for Beast Master pets... wolves, lions/panther, larger version dire wolf. I never heard of the Primalist, I love this idea.

The temporary change to christmas present is the sole reason I rolled up Missus Claus, Gravity Controller (it happens with Propel). So much fun hurling presents at the misbehaving adults of Paragon City.

My sis put me onto CoH back in the day. She had an alt that was a tank, modeled on and named after a certain Disney fairy that you have to clap to keep alive when they drink poisoned milk or something. As a knock off, I made Trixibelle, a very tall blond Broadsword/Regen Scrapper, because they said scrappers were the best at running solo. Survived all through the Regen boosts/nerfs/whatevs. Trixi always gets back up. She was my first 50 on Live, my only 50 here, and my only incarnate on either. I know she isn't the most bad ass toon, but to me, she is, and there is no amount of stress she can't relieve for me by hitting things over the head and about the midsection with her Rularuu eyeball broadsword. Her backstory is the old "parents were scientists on an isolated island in the Bahamas working on genetically enhancing animals, killed when some of the experiments went all wrong, baby orphaned and raised by genetically enhanced intelligent cats, eventually making her way to Paragon City to seek out humans and help them in exchange for treats because she's just nice like that." =^.^=

Thanks for being clear! I hope this is reconsidered. I was told, I won't say by whom but the person seemed to be involved in beta testing, that this was going to be available, and they even showed me a screenshot of a costume they had made with this piece, definitely this specific Talons skirt, so it was on the table at one point recently, if Dec. 2021 can be considered relatively recent. For me, I accept responsibility for using any available costume parts to advantage, and have faith that 90% of my fellow players here understand the game's vintage and therefore its limitations. I yearn for that skirt. I know I can use it to make an attractive costume that will look good on the right character 99.9% of the time.

I saw that, the 2% chance for the drop. That's good. At the rate I play (as much as I'm able to play) though it might put mini mode etc. out of my reach for the foreseeable. We shall see! 🙂

Zhym, I hear you. As several other folks have expressed, I don't have any interest in full NPC costumes, nothing against them but the only Halloween one I ever wear is Ghost Pirate 🙂 I get our wonderful volunteer devs wanting to provide rewards for hard mode, and I get that it might be a big negative to have those rewards be anything that affects the ability to use powers, that would just be another Incarnate system. But I truly hope costume pieces on HC won't ever be gated like this, and I also hope mini modes and possible other costume options that still allow for our own unique costumes to be used with won't end up tied to hard mode play. I have absolutely nothing against hard mode content... for anyone who wants to play it. However that is not and never will be me. That's not what brought me to CoH or made Paragon City my Home. I am not a min/maxer and I can only wish I had as much time as some folks to actually get on and play. I love CoH because I get to be a super hero, and sometimes when I feel like walking on the other side of the street, a villain, vigilante or rogue. I have a couple of dozen alts (give me time, they increase slowly), and out of all of them, 1 50. She's an Incarnate, all slots unlocked, a couple slotted at tier 4 and a couple at 3 because at this point, she's good and I'm good and I'll get around to it sometime. 🙂 I read the forums to pick up info and enjoy reading the discussions of other folks who like the same game. 80% of the discussions about marketing, slotting, set bonuses, etc. go over my head, but a little bit leaks in from time to time. I don't have a billion inf even on my 50, but I know where the guides are if I wanted to spend time marketing. I wonder now and then how many Homecoming players there are like me. I bet a few but I have no idea. My one true wish is that Homecoming never shifts into something that feels unwelcoming to my style of play. May Thomas Wolfe be wrong, just this one time.

Someone botched a time fix via Ouroboros. Poof! Missing building replaced by other building. Write an AE mission that explains how hundreds of heroes were killed when the Shivan meteor was redirected and struck there while said dead heroes were inside. In the course of trying to save the heroes who were using the AE, the only way they could be saved was to replace the building. AE in Mercy? just go with the existing story.

I don't discount it at all! Like I said, I am taking a handful of pills now! My fantasy was just that, and I'm very happy to be able to get medical advice from a professional! Thanks to the doc, the pills, and my own efforts my A1C went from 12.5 to 5.2. Yay me! Yay pills! I was able to get surgery for cancer including multiple scans I could never have afforded otherwise. I'm very grateful that I was able to get on my spouse's insurance. I have no doubt at all it saved my life. For those who don't have the option of insurance, I feel that. Not all of us have a life path that provides real world inf.
