  1. But... this is how I run IRL. PS: In an unrelated note, does anyone know why I suffer from chronic back pain?
  2. Hey, I'd like to join that TF. My character's name is Fraught, the Dark/Ice tanker.
  3. Always happy to contribute.
  4. Are you thinking perhaps of the Crey CBX-9 Pistol? To get it, you need the doctor's ally badge, defeat 200 paragon protectors, ans a few location badges.
  5. True, The doppleganger mission arcs of field agent Kieth Nance and special agent Jenni Adair.
  6. The player name color picker could perhaps be integrated into the system that allows you to customize your title?
  7. This idea came while I was doing a mayhem mission. I had just stolen the goods, and while heading out of the bank, I wondered which hero would oppose me. “Wouldn’t it be neat if it was one of my heroic alts that came to stop me?” Huh. Would that be possible? Can you have an alt become your arch-nemesis? Disclaimer: I know that the server running a player character isn’t so easy. So, my idea is more of redressing the antagonist who appears in a mayhem or safeguard mission. They wear your alt’s costume and have their name, but more than likely the powerset would be completely different. So instead of Overdrive or Blast Furnace appearing, it’s your hero, but with Blast Furnace’s powerset. Option 1: As the game sets up the Mayhem or Safeguard mission, it takes your highest-level character of the opposing alignment (hero or vigilante for mayhem missions; villain or rogue for safeguard missions). The game applies the slot 1 costume and yourcharacter's name instead of whatever generic character was set to appear. The same redressing can be applied for the jail breakout mini mission. If you don’t have a character that fits the criteria, the game won’t redress the antagonist. Maybe you could turn on/off this option by speaking to an NPC, like Null the Gull. Option 2: By speaking with Null the Gull or the P2W vendor, you could register your level 50 character to be an antagonists. So instead of having generic characters in safeguard/mayhem missions, we have community created characters. The game saves your character’s name, costume, bio, and alignment. It would redress and rename whatever generic character was set to appear in the mission. This would probably be more work for the devs. What does the community think? Would this excite or infuriate you? Is this as worthwhile as I think, or should I give up meth?
  8. Montague forgot my name. After I went out of my way to save Percy! But seriously, seems like it's just missing the tag variable before PlayerName . This was the greeting for the Travel to Cimerora questline. edit: D'oh! Seems linke I'm not the only one who noticed.

    No spawns

This is happening on Excelsior at 7pm EST. There are no more Wolf Spider Commanders spawning in Atlas park. This is required for the Aaron Thiery quest line. There was only one spawning at the same spot. but it has since stopped spawning.
  10. I like Gulbasaur's mission guide, but I usually swap out the King's Row missions for the Hollows missions.
  11. I like the Roy Coolidge mission arc (20-29). The story adds to the lore, and features different factions. You get to fight an arch-villain at the end. It also introduces a faction that you'll see a lot of at 40+. I also never miss doing the Shauna Braun vigilante mission.
  12. I am doing Lorenzo Tate's story line "An Unnatural Order". The mission is at level 29, I play it at +2 levels to match my current level (31). When defeating a Geode, if it spawn Geode Shards, they spawn at level 35. They are the only DE underlings to spawn at a much higher level. This isn't just on one map. I've done three so far, and the Geode Shards are all OP. This isn't game breaking, but it is head scratching.
  13. A maneater?
  14. I thought of Batman have having the Dark Armor secondary. Stealth and fear does match Batman.
  15. Possibilities: Time travel? Someone finally gave him a rez A third Hero 1? Hero 0n3?
  16. I just got my Dark/Time controller to 50. This is my 4th controller I got to 50, and my 13th level 50 character overall. One thing has irked me, however, and that is the Umbra Beast. This isn't going to be a complaint about it's damage output or its power set. This is mostly a convenience problem with this pet (and may also apply to other controller pets). So here are some issues I have: I get stuck and jammed a lot. Especially in the caverns and small offices, The Beast is huge and I can't move through it. I often have to dismiss it and re-summon it several times in a mission because it is blocking my path. If it's made of shadow, why can't I move through it? This is a common problem with controller pets. The howling. It seems like the loudest sfx in the game. Okay, I get it, ENOUGH. Geez! The thrill of the chase. I often have to dismiss and re-summon it on outside maps. Otherwise, as I scout ahead, it'll come running while dragging every baddie on the map to ambush me. If it could fly, that would be great. Any points from the community? Agree / Disagree?
  17. Some really good suggestions here. One thing I would like to see is for the Warriors to own their space. Much like the Tsoo, Carnival of Shadows, Frakshow, or the Skulls; give the Warrior's hideouts some flair and personality. Graffiti on the walls, racks of weapons, a bar area. You don't need to make new assets, just add some assets to the existing maps. They deserve better than generic, nondescript warehouses.
  18. Badges are a nice reminder of what your character has accomplished and where they've been. However, sometimes it difficult to recollect which "big bad" your character might have faced if there isn't a badge associated. Also, while in the heat of combat, you don't always get a change to appreciate the character model or costume of those special characters you face against. I'm thinking it would be nice to have something like this. To see your character's Rogue Gallery, as it was. Here is what I am thinking: A character viewer, like the character select screen, and some captured information from when you fought them. What do you think? Is this worthwhile? Anything you would like to see?
  19. Typically, I've leaned more towards Fly or Mystic Flight. However, Infiltration is quickly becoming my new favorite.
  20. Did some clean-up. Now available: Doctor Deathwish Darkula Mister Chiller Earthward Bantam Blow Fish Frosten Man
  21. A couple of years ago, I worked at a large computer store as a tech, building and repairing computers (mainly). Very few of the systems we sold had an optical drive in them. Usually people bought an external blu-ray drive, for the occasional times they needed them.
  22. Running away is always an option. 😜
  23. Valid concerns. Regarding making the zones emptier, I was hoping my suggestion would make the city seem more dynamic, rather than stuck in a static status quo. For hunting, it would encourage people to go to the Hazard and Trial Zones which tend to be the most empty zones.
  24. Graphically, a problem I could see are mobs appearing and then disappearing when you get close to them. That is a common problem with phasing. I'm also thinking that the team member's flags could be inherited by the team leader. That way, if you are exemplared with a friend, you can help him with the hunt missions, despite the fact that you normally don't see that mob anymore.
