  1. Well, you totally could still have it be PPD; villains and -all-. The PPD aren't totally above corruption. Nor is it impossible for someone to just up-and-steal their armour and equipment then wear it. I mean, it would be most out of place in Praetoria. But regardless of all that, I was suggesting the Grenadier in terms of the Pet's Powers, not strictly its appearance. The customization of Phantom Army in the latest patch also means that future Pets could be pre-built with that feature in mind, allowing for immense versatility in pet customization.
  2. Oh, no no, not a Gun Drone! I've thought about Grenade Control a -lot-. Since Issue 7 or so, when Mayhems were introduced. The Pet for Grenade Control needs to be a PPD Grenadier (with customization options to change their appearance like the Phantom Army has right now, so you can have all sorts of versions).
  3. As bad as the writing may be, or as vindictive as the author may have been, I still feel quite alright with States and Psyche being dead. I'm less plussed about how messy the rest of the game's narrative became over it, though. And if anyone from that arc deserves to be brought back from the dead, it's Malaise!
  4. Have you done both of the missions yet, siolfir? You have to run both sides of it, either your own or in teams.
  5. Hence the quotation marks around the name Statesman in my post.
  6. Revive Red Widow is 30+ (annoyingly).
  7. I am certainly curious to learn more about the past, even if its bearing on the future is minimal. I've yet to hear if the Homecoming Team is going to hold the expressed plans for "Statesman's" return to heart, leave the guy perma-dead entirely, pull some horrible "not really dead/got resurrected" nonsense with a "because comics" excuse, or just quietly shift that piece of lore in to the hands of the players by never addressing it officially.
  8. If someone feels that the only thing that they find enjoyable in City is "challenge," I think it may be in their best interest to branch out and explore all the other things the game has on offer for you to enjoy!
  9. I've had this bug happen a handful of times. Maybe less than 10 times total, across half a dozen Stalkers . . . but I've definitely suffered from it!
  10. Did anyone happen to record a playthrough of Death From Below where we could see the amount of Experience rewarded from each individual enemy defeated? If not; how willing are the Homecoming Devs to put a rolled-back version on the Test Server to see if we can research it further?
  11. I can also confirm that it's possible to solo the Scratch and Ganymede Arcs to earn Handsome/Beautiful; you just need to visit Null and switch alignments after setting the mission(s).
  12. You people make me sick! Sick with envy . . .
  13. Thanks so much for the detailed announcement! That is super useful, and much appreciated.
  14. Interesting. https://trove.fandom.com/wiki/Paragon_of_the_Past And the colour scheme looks a little like https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/File:Paragon_Protector_Claws.jpg
  15. Which says 50 (Picky Eater), 100 (Food Critic), 500 (Grand Gourmet), 1000 (Iron Chef) according to the version I have open.
  16. Sounds good to me! Who have we got willing to work on this project?
  17. It may be argued that I horde Admin-Op status on too many Global Channels, maybe.
  18. I think that's generally true of most social interaction, no?
  19. I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I know I'm not being helpful with this post, but I can't help it. I see: and all I can think of is:
  20. I'm okay with a decrease in damage on a Control Power any day of the week; especially if it means getting a hard control like Hold!
  21. I mean, we gotta hand it to this thread for one thing: I don't think I've ever seen this many people in agreement on something. Heck, even the threads about getting rid of Hasten didn't prompt this firmness of shared community opinion.
  22. I mean, lest we forget . . . most grind is designed specifically to pad out subscription time, back in the old paradigm. These sorts of things were never meant to be enjoyed by a rational, sane person. They were meant to inject a sunk-cost to keep people invested and spending money.
  23. For reasons of https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Nw-npzUY2NGc6SFoHa1ByWw202gI8DlT0ZDTQwoR7YM/edit#gid=0 I am going to do something I've never done before, and say: Hard no.
  24. Welcome! There are a lot of great people on Everlasting, and many of them are also in various roleplay groups. If you're interested in learning more about roleplay, as your post in another board suggests, then you could also join the in-game Global Chat Channel for exactly that! /chanjoin OOC /chanjoin RP The former is the channel for discussing things Out-of-Character (so, speaking as yourself, the player). There are many people there who could be quite helpful to provide guidance on roleplay. The latter channel is the In-Character (speaking as your character) channel. The general conceit for the channel is that it's effectively "Teamspeak for Heroes." Players enact long distance VOIP conversations with their messages in-game. Some are so long distance as to be transmitting from alternate dimensions (Praetoria)! In any event, I hope you have a load of fun and meet many wonderful people in your adventures! And if you ever get interested in Redside, I'll be more than happy to get cooperatively villainous with you! (Redside is the short form name for playing as a Villain, and speaks primarily to the Rogue Isle zones. Conversely, Blueside is for Heroes and Paragon City. Yellowside (or goldside) is Praetoria. Some people use "Purpleside" or "Greyside" to refer to Rogues and/or Vigilantes, but that's less formal.)
  25. If you do wind up on Everlasting and are interested in learning more about Roleplay, then I recommend checking out this board as well: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/48-roleplaying/
