They read about me every day. They even pay to have their pictures and stories with me. Who Am I? I'm Obituary Paige on Torchbearer

Maybe they can reverse the power creep. Maybe they can UnNerf Regen. Maybe they can uncover all the Nemesis Plots --Only to find there never was any - and that Statesman was behind it all

How about: Quads the problem? Quad Zi Moto? Quad Radical?

How about Bland Man, or BlandMan. The Big Blandowski? BlandMan Biggs? I had a question - were you on on the right server? If you chose a different server, your character wouldn't show up.

Finally,an easy question on the COH Message Boards! LOL.

I heard a story from an old job of mine. A gut sent out an email about his laptop docking station not working. Unfortunately, he made 2 mistakes: 1) He misspelled Docking by replacing the 'o' with an 'i' 2) He sent the email company wide. He quit 2 days later.

I pronounce it as Sup'Deen. It's the silent syllables in the middle that makes it unspeakably easy to pronounce.

Sounds like they should all be fired.

Lets start here. Last time I checked, LFG means Looking For Group. It's kind of a hard stretch to say LFG means Trials/ Taskforces/Strikeforces. I mean, the initials just don't match nearly as well. Then there's the 'Stop being in it' thing. Why? Are you saying they can use it only the way you want them to? While I agree, it's not like WoW, and asking for something in CoH to be like WoW would cause me to ask if they are playing the right game. But on the other hand, even a broken clock is right twice a day. While I can feel the frustration, it's the tone that bothers me. Sorry if I have offended. Maybe a new Guide would be helpful...

Been wanting to say this for a while now...

I think part of the great community we have here is due to several reasons. A couple are: --It's not a new game -> this brings people who like the game for what it is --It's a free game -> If you're not paying for it, you tend to realize you have less ground to demand anything -> you also tend to be more thankful for the game -

Have you been naughty again, Bill? -
how do i move influence to my other character
Rishidian replied to seihyup kim's topic in General Discussion
For Safety, send yourself a test message first. Make sure the To and From match (copy and paste if possible). This way you don't send any influence to the wrong account. Then reply to that email with your influence laden email. And when ever you want to transfer funds, respond to the email again. Remember to not delete it. -
How many Respecs do you use to get the build just right?

I use them as needed. Mids is great for planning - but does jack for execution. Mids = Looks good on paper. I respec when a I find a power isn't as useful as I thought I would be. Or when I don't use it as I expected and want to try something else. Mids doesn't help with this. I normally don't respec at all. I had to on 1 toon twice because I found I didn't use Placate as I thought I would - so I dumped it. Then I found the next power choice didn't work as expected, so I dumped that one too. I play this game for the experiences. --Every Alt has very different powers, and I want to play them all --I never farm because that bypasses the game experiences. I almost never use AE either. I realize it takes for ever to hit 50, and that's ok. I'm kinda scared of what happens once I'm there - Unknown Territory. -
I created a Sonic/Bubble Corruptor. -> Shelved in the teens. --Couldn't do enough damage to make a short fight. --Couldn't take enough damage to survive. Perhaps I chose the wrong combination.

I had to defend the game's honor folks...

First of all - it's City of Heroes. Capitalization matters Second: He is misinformed. CoH didn't die the same way - did not die because of a Nerf. I wouldn't consider a game that was cut off at the knees after several years of success, a game that died after launch. Third: SWTOR didn't die after a nerf. It hasn't died yet. -------------- Something to remember: Opinions are like ass holes: --Everyone has one --They all stink --The only one that matters is your own Here's the Nerfed Games Hot Line: 1-800-GET-WAAA -
I sit corrected. Thank you

I remember when the found an extinct race of 'Hobbits'. It was big news! They based their findings from 1 skeleton. That was it. The story was a flash in the pan - and disappeared quickly. Species: Homo floresiensis I suppose everyone needs their hour of fame. What gives this credence is the fact that Science Fiction must make sense.

Is there any way to make teams less boring?
Rishidian replied to RogueWolf's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for asking. Somethings I write make sense to me, but not to others. Y'all don't think like me - and that's a good thing. What I meant was players will quit if things are changed, and other players will quit if they aren't changed. HelBlaiz nailed it (and should probably have his head examined for thinking like me). I get a bit tired of all the threats of people quitting for this reason or that. Ya can't make everyone happy, nor can you make the majority happy. We have to settle for the few. Also, people tend to complain about things they don't like, but are silent about the things they do like. It makes getting an idea about a new concept, idea, AT, zone, etc. hard to gage in terms of acceptance. It's like juggling a feather, a bowling ball, and a red hot ember. And I feel for the Devs who have to work with this. -

My thoughts are: they are all related. But not necessarily discoverable. There are many points in the CoX timeline, with lots of gaps that may not be linearly connectable. -
Is there any way to make teams less boring?
Rishidian replied to RogueWolf's topic in General Discussion
I keep seeing this and it bothers me a little. **Nobody is necessary on a team.** This is untrue. The only person necessary on a team is the 2nd person. If it's only 1 person, then it's soloing. More than 1 person makes a team. Who, or what, that 2nd person is, is irrelevant, which goes the same for the 1st person. Only that they are there is what matters to a team. Also, any change to the game will trigger someone to stop playing. Even no change will do it.
