  1. Open the pet window. Dark Servant will appear there and you can see if it's expired or been defeated. Dark Servant has a 4-minute duration and has to be resummoned. Only controller/dominator/mastermind primary pets don't.
  2. This probably could have been more scientific, but here's what I did: Both Runs: lvl 50 vs. lvl 54 CoT - 2 Guides + 1 Behemoth / All incarnate powers disabled / Beta Decay disabled. Keep in mind there's roughly 5 dmg ticks per hit. Run 1: Scirocco's Dervish acc/dmg, acc/dmg/end, dmg/end (48% acc), lethal proc and Achille's Heel -res proc / 66% global accuracy Run 2: Scirocco's Dervish lethal proc, Obliteration smashing proc, Eradication energy proc, Lady Grey neg proc and Achille's Heel -res proc / 57% global accuracy Regardless of how you feel about slotting dmg vs. slotting procs, I think it's clear that slotting accuracy has a big impact. The hit rate was 60.5% in Run 1 (with accuracy slotted) vs. 24.0% in Run 2 (with only global accuracy).   3. Probably still need +resist and +regen slotted so I can stand next to the mobs without getting killed. Also, a lot more work than just swapping out a few enhancements. Not sure when I'll have time to do that. True, but wouldn't you also want to test whether global accuracy was sufficient for the procs to hit without slotting accuracy in IG? I'm happy to swap out the 3 accuracy and damage enhancements for procs and jump in a mission with lvl 54s. It will be just 5 procs, as I only have the power 5-slotted and don't want to bother with a respec just to test this.
  4. I tested against 3 level 50 mobs in PI (2 Nemesis Colonels and 1 Rikti Chief Mentalist) by standing next to them with Irradiated Ground running and waiting for them to die. I didn't time the runs, but each took about 30 seconds. I'm lvl 50+ and have 48% acc and 117% dmg (incl Musculature) slotted in Irradiated Ground, plus 66% of set bonus acc and 23.5% of set bonus dmg. I also have the Scirocco's Dervish dmg proc and Achilles's Heel -res proc slotted in IG. I disabled Beta Decay for all runs and Reactive Interface for the 3rd run. Irradiated Ground pseudo-pet and doesn't show up in the normal combat log - you need to add Pet Combat, Hit Rolls, etc. to the chat window. All to-hit rolls showed a 95% chance to hit. The 1st run showed 8 hits and 1 miss, the 2nd showed 8 hits and 2 misses and the 3rd showed 10 hits and 2 misses. Clearly the power is not auto-hit. Scirocco's Dervish procced 3 times in run 1, 2 times in run 2 and none in run 3. Each proc is about 80 points before factoring in -res. Achilles's Heel procced 5 times in run 2 and 3 times in run 3 (didn't have log set up properly for it in run 1). Each proc appeared to affect about 4 ticks. Irradiated Ground criticaled 2 times in run 1, 6 times in run 2 and 4 times in run 3 (description says 10% chance). Excluding procs and criticals, Irradiated Ground did 38 ticks of damage in run 1, 32 ticks in run 2 and 46 ticks in run 3. Base damage for the power is 7.57 per tick. As slotted, I was doing 18.34 points of damage per tick before factoring in -res.

  6. I don't believe this is correct. In game it shows standard 1.00x accuracy. End reduction doesn't hurt either. I have it slotted with 1 dmg proc, 1 -res proc, 3x Sirocco (acc/dmg, acc/dmg/end, dmg/end).
  7. Hurricane does both KB and repel. Only the KB is negated by the IO. Try playing it and decide whether you want to slot it. I would put KB>KD in Tornado and possibly Lightning Storm.
  8. It's the magnitude of the repel. There are very few powers in the game that actually use the repel status effect (Kinetics/Repel is not one of them). The only ones I can think of are Hurricane and Telekinesis. Do not skip Hurricane. The end use is very manageable, particularly since you won't be running it all the time. On indoor maps it's possible to neuter entire spawns by using Hurricane to herd them into a corner and keeping them debuffed. This takes practice, as the mobs will not be happy with you.
  9. Lightning Rod summons a pet. You need to add Pet Combat, Pet Damage, Pet ToHit, etc. to your combat log (or create a separate tab for pet combat).
  10. Hybrid Support tier 4 provides an always-on 10% endurance discount.

    MA/Inv Help

    122.62 vs. 52.55 damage, higher DPA, mag 3 vs. mag 2 stun. I can run an attack chain of Storm, Cobra, Crane and CAK with no gaps. I don't need a low damage filler like Thunder. I don't have access to Mid's right now, but I thought he was already over the S/L cap without DR enhancement to RPD. I have no issue with the uniques. I don't care about DP as a heal. I want it for the +HP. I rarely need to use it, but when I do I want to cap HP. Also, there's no need for a tradeoff - you can easily achieve both. You can definitely spend less than 6 slots on DP, but Preventative Medicine has some nice set bonuses.

    MA/Inv Help

    A few thoughts: Drop Thunder Kick for Cobra Strike. Investing 6 slots in RPD and 4 slots each in REl and REn is a waste. 6 slot Dull Pain, preferably 6x Preventative Medicine. If not, find somewhere else to put the +absorb proc. You're going to want a KB>KD in Crane Kick. I would put Scrapper's Strike somewhere else. One of your Unbreakable Guard sets should have the +7.5% HP piece. You want to hit ED max +defense in Invincibility. In Tough Hide, swap the Def/End for Def. It's an auto power and uses no endurance.

  14. They do NOT show up in the pet window. And you can't use inspirations on Controller pets even if they do show up in the pet window.
  15. A Rikti hunt in PI is the first mission of the third Terra Volta trial.
  16. Just tested. Lightning Storm benefits from damage inspirations. Tornado does not.

    Stone Melee / ?

    Unless I'm mistaken, the only Stone powers that stun are Stone Fist (which I would skip) and Fault (which seems iffy), vs. 5 powers that do KD/KB. I just realized that Stone has no AoE damage until lvl 32, as Fault apparently does no damage. I'm familiar with the dominator/controller epic version Fissure, which does good damage. May need to rethink this concept.
  18. 4x Clound Senses / 2x Touch of the Nictus. You want to enhance tohit debuffs and heal (Fluffy uses Twilight Grasp quite a bit), both of which benefit the whole team. The tohit debuffs don't require a tohit check, but Twilight Grasp (as well as Petrifiying Gaze and Tenebrous Tentacles) does.

    Here's mine. It was intentionally built to focus on resistance and regeneration, so not a lot of defense.
  20. I really like Melee Core for the resistance and regen (for T3 you want Partial Core) for those times things go sideways. Assault is good too, but I've never tried it on a brute.
  21. The 7.5% hp boost is a unique and can only be slotted once.
  22. You are correct. My point is that the procs do more damage than you would get if you slotted TT for damage, and they're front loaded.
  23. I just took a Dark/TA to 50. Dark needs some love, but it's far from the worst. Needs a KB>KD in Umbral Torrent. I slot Tenebrous Tentacles with procs (and +range) as the DOT is really weak.

    Stone Melee / ?

    I've been having a good time playing my Earth/Earth dom and toying with ideas for a Stone melee brute. Trying to pick a secondary that I can match thematically (I don't want Stone or Bio and I've done SR, Invul and Rad recently). Ice? Shield? I might consider Elec if I could come up with a concept.
