Tried again on my EM/Bio Scrapper. Got up to the Nictus ambush, but their numbers are just overwhelming. The "Buffed Enemies" challenge mode makes it quite hard. Does anyone know what the exact effects are?

Just did this at +1x4 on a level 32 katana/bio scrapper and on a team at level 30 +0 with an exemplared IO'd em/bio scrapper. Solo, I died twice to the EB's at the end. Could not survive even their normal attacks on a long term basis. New cheese strat discovered though. You only actually need to kill the named EB. The remaining ones just become untargetable/stop moving when you do and the mission is accomplished. On the team, I think most everyone else was at the natural level for the mission, and we came close to wiping at the Ward turning on us/Clarity escort part. You face enemies on two sides and it is hard for the tank to aggro manage both the ambush and Ward's summons. The EB part we handled no problem though. It is just a hard mission. Personally I like this mission but I was playing fairly meta/built stuff (I have been IOing a lot of my powers as I level on the katana scrapper. She's a self contained Praetoria solo character with no seed money for a true lonely experience, lol.

All cimms have zero psi resist iirc, so on an ITF you can alternate doing full damage on cimms and half damage on 5th Column robots.

I think the set is fine as is. It's AoE is weak imo outside of the very excellent fast animating nuke, but it's single target is good enough that it is still a well balanced set. I think the main thing that makes it special is the damage type, which is good for getting enemies in god mode, though screws you over on robots.

That is also my least favorite buggy thing too. I heard the market code in general is just a complete mess. I'm guessing that's why it hasn't been fixed for all these years in live and HC. it would be nice though.

At the end of the day, Mids and the forums are not actually part of the game though. Is it ok game design to have the main source of information and the main build editor be independent of the game? I don't actually know. It is extremely difficult at best to teach someone just through help channel or try and fix a build. Is there even an in game way to look at someone else's build? There's lots of stuff that is just not taught by the game. The defense soft cap was derived by smart fellows on the forums, there's nothing telling you about the rule of 5, nothing that tells you that purples should not be attuned since the bonuses work at all levels already, etc.

The one I can think of is St. Martial and all the building interior mission doors. I just mission TP to them since you can't tell what doors on the building exterior lead inside or are just mission doors themselves. The actual waypoint is not helpful since it is pointing to the actual mission door, which is in the building interior underground.

I tried it on my Elec/Elec brute just now. It is pretty damn hard, lol, ngl. I can't stand and fight or their defense gets too high to hit. It is theoretically possible to go through though I still died on occasion (player skill problem? TBF I have not played this character in a long while).

There's a mod on the mod manager for that thankfully. On min fx, the only thing that shows is Adaption and DNA contamination for me.

What were all the settings that you ended up running on? +4x8 no insps I'm guessing? I have an elec/elec brute and a claws/elec brute I can run this on though I am not fully T4'd.

Can confirm it is hard. I used cheese strats of hitting and running iirc on my scrapper and stalker solo runs.

Rain of poisoned needles? Full auto style pew pew of thousands of shuriken? If we make it more if a general ninja powerset, bombs are a thing that they utilized, at least in popular conception.

Dunno if it is just me, but Kallisti seems too nice for a challenge zone. Long term pipe dream, but I'd like a incarnate level hazard zone of Hami infested Praetorian Paragon City (Shroud City?) Some day.
