Only one unique per build. That's what makes them unique! What I was saying is that I put the +defense uniques into EITHER Permafrost OR Hoarfrost, depending on the rest of the build. I suppose you could also put one in a power and the other in the second power as well. I just usually keep them together. But not both uniques in both powers. Sorry for the confusion. Same thing with the +resistance uniques - one of each per build - but I tend to put sets of Reactive Armor or Shield Wall instead of both stacked together when I am making defense based builds for the HP and resistance set bonuses.

Hello @supersonick, I moved your thread to Brutes sub-forums as, even though your title says "tanker/brute/scrap" you are really looking for Brute advice. With all builds, I recommend getting and slotting some of the uniques and slot them as soon as possible. For me, Steadfast Protection and Gladiator's Armor +def both go into either Hoarfrost or Permafrost ASAP. I also slot 4 Shield Walls and 4 Reactive Armors in Frozen and Glacial Armor, including the uniques. Good luck!

Focused Feedback: Pocket D Friend - Blarf
GM_GooglyMoogly replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
You fiend! You broke Blarf! -
We don't have cocaine OR hippos in this game!

AHHHH!! My googly eyes!

Hey! I moved this suggestions and feedback. I know that @Cobalt Arachne has done most or all of the work with the Aether costumes so far and that Cobalt is always adding more. That said, I think the Mu might be a problematic Aether Costume for players as they never move their arms or legs and always float. Just about all the powersets would look weird coming from someone with their arms and legs strapped, especially anything involving a weapon, which is a lot of sets.

Someone reported the "Reported" thread for thread necromancy. It was dead for two whole months! But, having read the thread, and being amused by it, I hereby declare that it was only mostly dead.

I've only been on this job since around Christmas of last year, so I can't comment before that other than to say focused feedback (FF) threads are moderated more than ordinary threads. And once we start moderating anywhere, but especially in FF threads, a lot of debate gets pruned as we remove posts that quote the offending post, even if that post was otherwise fine. I can guarantee that any post in FF threads that doesn't quote anyone or directly or indirectly insults anyone but merely states a criticism of a new feature will not be hidden. It's the debate between players and the insults towards players or devs that get the axe pretty quickly, not criticism.

Sorry, you made an edit while I was typing. I don't know what your motivation is or should be. I guess all testers share a desire to see the new stuff and most want to contribute to making a great game better. I don't know who is going to call you "a troll with a sense of entitlement." It certainly won't be me and I'm pretty sure no one on the GM or Dev team would post that. So that leaves another poster. And that is exactly the kind of comment that would not be allowed in a focused feedback thread. Go ahead, PF. Test stuff out and be critical. I got your back!

Your premise is false. You can provide positive feedback, negative feedback, or no feedback at all, and preferably after you have actually logged on to the test server and tried it. What we try to do on focused feedback threads is to keep the theorizing, arguing, and the "devs must be stupid, hateful people" stuff out. As you have seen many times on the Suggestions and Feedback forums, some people on here like to argue, break into camps, and the arguments end up in insults, hidden posts, and locked threads. There's a big difference between "I tried and I don't like this because . . . " and "This is the worst thing ever made by stupid devs who don't understand the game or what people want. They should stop doing (whatever's on open beta) and instead do what I want." No, those aren't actual quotes. But some posts I've seen are that bad and worse. The former comment will not be hidden and may result in a change. The latter comment will be hidden, the devs will most probably not junk what they've put hundred of hours into to create that poster's pet project. And if that same poster continues to post that way in the focused feedback threads they might win an all expenses paid stay-cation from the forums. Look for Cobalt Arachne's posts in focused feedback threads over the last few days. Some people have tested, commented on what they didn't like, and Cobalt has responded by explaining the intent behind the new stuff and has agreed to change several things based on that feedback. PS. - Have you said anything on this most recent round of focused feedback threads that's been hidden? I don't think so. I certainly don't remember doing it or seeing it. In fact, very few posts from anyone have been hidden this round. Almost everyone has been giving very focused feedback. So thanks!

A non-police Trainer NPC in King's Row
GM_GooglyMoogly replied to mechahamham's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There are no plans to add a trainer to KR or any other zone at this time. Players who, because of their backstory, don't want to interact with a given NPC are free to go to another zone or their supergroup base. As stated by the OP, this can be a charged topic. Before we fall headlong into a political debate, thread locked. -
I don't think the intent is for soloists to be able to wipe out all the big spawns and the Mino solo. But a soloist CAN explore it with sufficient stealth, speed, and sneakiness. Timing also matters a lot. If you are solo and the only person there, you are going to have a hard time, especially if you have no level shifts. But if there is also a team or league in the zone at the same time taking down groups the soloist will also benefit from the level shifts earned by the group. And that makes it possible to explore a little safer and perhaps to take down some groups solo. As the NPCs are grouped by color, you can also somewhat tailor what enemies you face to go up against things you are strong against and avoid things your character finds difficult. (said by me as a player, not as any official HC statement)

Horror + Comedy = Hormedy? Comror? -
As reported by @Shin Magmus, Shoal Rush on MMs is not accepting slow slotting and all other ATs do allow for slow slotting.
