  1. I've gotten into the habit of loading my 1st costume into every open slots after stepping into AP/Mercy/Nova to cut down on costs later on. My last character I actually went onto Beta, leveled her up so I could alter her Pool power's colours/gfx, then loaded those files onto my L9 character, so that when she gains access to those abilities, they're already set to my liking. Though I agree that it would be nice to save and load a character's body without altering costume at all.
  2. I think it's likely that folks are just doing other things. Seems like the forums have been quieter overall this week.

  4. I look at it this way, it's always morning somewhere. I would usually say "Good morning." to co-workers the first time I saw them, regardless of what time it was.
  5. Ah, well glad @EmmySky was able to solve our issue. 🙂
  6. It was my understanding that the entrance rooms could not be deleted. You may have permanently broken your base.
  7. I'm still trying to reconcile "casual player" and "purple sets". 🤔
  8. For me, in all they years... decades... <.< I've played there's always been one person that had the "über" character. And by that I don't mean they min/maxed the hell out of them, but they were always some high-level deposed demon/god, untouchable, yadda-yadda-yadda. I'm sure you all know the Mr. Über type, . Like in a Marvel campaign, the GM allowed players to select their own abilities rather than roll for them. More than one player chose Rogue's power-copying ability, this guy spent the point to make it permanent (rather than rolling to see if it was temp or perm). And of course, his character was again undefeatable <eyeroll>. My character on the other hand, had body, breathing, and digestive adaptation, the ability to control gravity (increase or decrease by a gravity or two) for quite a large radius, something like 8 blocks, but could power-shift to only effect herself cranking gravity up to 8. With her body adapt, that allowed her to punch Mr. Über through a wall, knocking him out. Man was he pissed. "She wouldn't do that! We're teammates!" GM: "You walked up behind her during combat and tapped her on the shoulder."

  10. Welcome to CoH:H! We always like to see new folks here and I doubt you'd find a friendlier, more helpful community. Honestly, I'd say just pick an AT and powerset combo that speaks to your desired playstyle. Like to wade into the thick of it? Go for Tanks or Brutes, some of the other ATs can also manage this as well depending on the chosen powersets. Sentinels to, though they are a melee/ranged combo. Like to stalk your prey, slink in, strike and fade away? Stalkers are your go-to, depending on powersets chosen you can also stay and go to town on your enemies. Want to stay at range? Blaster, Corruptors, Defenders Want to buff your friends/debuff the enemies? Controllers, Corruptors, Dominatiors, Defenders. There's a lot more and are tons of combinations, I suggest just reading through the descriptions for the ATs in the Character Creator to get a rough idea, then check out the various powersets. I would recommend staying away from Masterminds (MMs), Peacebringers/Warshades (EATS) and Arachnos/Widows (VEATS) as first characters. MM's are a pet class that require a lot of micro-managing and don't really work like pet classes in other games, you can't just spawn and forget. EATS/VEATS have odd builds and are not really a good first character. You can also provide a little detail here on the type of character you'd like to play and people will happily give you AT and powerset combos that would work. Enjoy!
  11. Taking away options and increasing difficulty across the board for everyone?
  12. Except there are plenty of players that can +4/*8 nearly all the content in the game. Allowing them additional difficulty options would be a good option. The player base wants: entertaining, fun, engaging, stories, challenges, roflstomping, face-planting, hair on fire play sessions and the player base will choose any or all of these as they see fit. Options are good. Personally, I'd like to see the Ouroboros options added to all content.
  13. How about: "Hold my beer."
  14. Problem: When you spend a day swimming in a pool, then your eyes feel burned later from all the chlorine. Solution: Take 2 cotton balls, soak with milk, place over eyes and let rest. They should ease the stinging and burning after a few minutes.
  15. Contact: Interrogator Kang Mission: Sacrifices Must Be Made Part II: Finders Keepers Text: 2nd para, 2nd sent: "Luckily your provided..." Correction: "your" should be "you" or "you've"
  16. ☝️ Pretty much how I think of it. Your team are weedeaters and everything in your path gets mowed over.
  17. I just finished a run through Praetoria, and I have completely come to the conclusion that doing all 40 contacts was NOT the intentions of the original devs. There are 4 distinct Storylines going on, all of which (if played correctly) independently can level you from 1-20. There is no faster way excluding a DFB to get a character from 1-20 then Praetoria! However Praetoria is not for the new player. It is an expert zone! Everything is more dangerous then regular blue or red content. And lastly EVERY ARC in praetoria is in Ouro. Nowhere in my post did I saw that I was trying to run every contact. Matter of fact, I highlighted the portion of my post which storyline I was running, Powers, which is a grand total of 10 contacts. And while yes, Praetorian content is in Ouro. My Praetorian (or anyone elses Praetorian for that matter) CANNOT access Ouro. Unless you transition them to Primal Earth which I have no intention of doing. I mean if that's the case, why bother rolling a Praetorian at all, just run all the missions on a Primal Earther.
  18. Not to mention that even only doing HALF the content in Praetoria is more than enough to push you past 20, where the initial 3 zones basically run out of contacts. I just finished running a brute through the loyalist side, and even with no EXP boost I was almost level 21 having done ONLY the Power/Responsibility quest lines. Ran into this issue yesterday, now I will need to reroll my Praetorian. Not even HALF of the content. My Praetorian is running strictly Loyalists Powers contacts and arcs and I missed turning off XP and Tami Baker will not even give me the time of day. I can understand contacts not talking to us if we've out-leveled them at first contact, but not if you've already started running their missions. Regarding running cut-off contacts via Ouroboros, problematic on a Praetorian.
  19. The colours in the far right 2 columns tend to be the more washed-out pastel colours of that chalkboard green. If you meant the 2nd stripe, I'd call that more of a faded camo green.
