My favorite brute of all time is a SS/Rad Armor Brute. It also works great as a tank.

I just started one of these today thinking it would be an interesting pairing as it's something that can't otherwise be done and I happen to be watching Black Clover currently. I am planning to push it to incarnate soft caps and also plan to go ageless radial for the DDR and Recharge.

Pretty low I'd imagine. But the event was just a dinner for my wife's student employees, I had to bring my daughter because my wife's boss brought her kid around the same age. The college students know how to eat on their own, they don't need a 2 year old to show them how to do it.

Still sad I missed out on that freakspec, but I had to bring my daughter home from an event my wife wanted her to come see at the university my wife works at. Glad y'all had fun smashing the +7's.

My demon/EA is pretty tanky. EA is best played on MM/trollers IMO to chain off your pets. It's definitely active though.

Heads up I was planning to party in the reactor room with our +5/6's or whatever we fought last time, but it seems my wife has other plans for me, so my attendance tonight is unlikely. Best of luck and have fun.

I wish we could have both venom grenades.

I agree if a power is on an enemy combatant then sure. If it's on an ally I see it more of a QoL aspect not having to automatically reapply because you went up an elevator.

Over the years I've tried to limit sharing my builds, but I am more often than not willing to work with people whether it's in the forums, on discord, or whatnot to go over fundamentals of build theory crafting so players understand how to make their own builds and get the most out of them. I find it improves our player base. Just because someone has a pickup truck with a boat on a trailer doesn't mean they know how to successfully launch a boat.

Frigid Wind Still Not Doing Damage In PvP
SeraphimKensai replied to Monos King's topic in Bug Reports
https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=epic.scrapper_ice_mastery.frigid_wind&at=scrapper According to Cod it deals 15.5331 cold damage every 0.5 seconds for 3.2 seconds. It also has a 5% chance for an extra 108.7156 points of damage for a crit. The 15.5331 cold damage dot that is set to apply 100% of the time has a tag that excludes the main target. This tag only applies to the PvP damage effect, so if you're using this power on a single target in PvP, it makes sense that you're not seeing it damage your target. That said it's a 100% a bug and oversight IMO, and removing the tag to exclude the main target in PvP would enable it's damage component. -
I'm in this camp. I double stack my mez protection when playing anything that has click based mez protection. C'est la belle vie.

Need some help with story content in Peregrine Island

I fell victim to Google autocorrect changing FBZ to DBZ. Apparently Gemini is a fan of Goku. -
Need some help with story content in Peregrine Island

If you get bored in PI, you can always head to DBZ and run missions out there for a change in scenery. -
It was pretty fun, even when facing three groups at once that had bosses either running hurricane and dropping freezing rain/snowstorm or running lightning field and sapping endurance while complimented by minions that shot out swarms of bees and lieutenants stacking trip mines all over.
-
They both are so it would make sense to include. I didn't have time to fully think up all the powers that behaved like that as I was at work in a conference room waiting for some clients to show up (that want to make a drive thru coffee shed) when I posted.

I just casually mentioned The Last Starfighter to someone at work today, and I see this post tonight. What are the odds?

soul extraction not producing enough spirits
SeraphimKensai replied to Ridiculous Girl's topic in Bug Reports
You could use go-to commands then to force them to go to where you want them. -
There's several powers in the game that allows or requires an ally to be an anchor for the power to function. Of the powers I named in the tags, noxious Gas has a 30-foot range, disruption field has a 70-foot range, and shifting tides has a 80-foot range. These powers detoggle when the player and anchor exceed their power ranges. Honestly I feel these distances should be equalized myself. But the real hassle is many missions have multiple floors, and the way the game works is the floors are spread out horizontally and the elevators essentially teleport players to different sections of the map. Anytime a player or anchor uses an elevator these ally anchor powers break due to range issues. What if these types of powers could have some sort of short duration, 10 seconds or so, that would keep the power active if an actor and player using the power are separated until they are reunited and back in the powers range before dropping. This kind of effect would likely eliminate any kind of toggle drops due to elevators or maybe even mission doors for masterminds, or pet using controllers, and greatly diminish the frequency of toggle drops when the power is used on other players. To me this seems like a potential QoL style improvement to the functionality of these types of powers.

Endurance Cost: How would you handle it?
SeraphimKensai replied to Black Tangent's topic in General Discussion
Glancing over even the second build, it looks like an improvement over the first but still a bunch more work that can be done. Tactics for instance, I'd recommend three slots total, 2 lvl 53 Cytoskeleton enhancements (kinda spendy) + 1 Gaussian Proc, or 6 Gaussian IOs (if you wanna build for defense), otherwise 5 adjusted targeting and 1 Gaussian Proc (if you want more recharge). Pet wise I like to include the soul bound proc somewhere and then give my pets 4 slot expedient reinforcement for the 6.25% recharge bonuses (you being a rad emission toon, it's practical to get Accelerate Metabolism to be permanent up), and then slot a bunch of the pet res/def procs in there. Maneuvers I would 4 slot as: LoTG 7.5, kismet: accuracy (it actually provides tohitbuff which works better than straight accuracy), and two lvl 50+5 Gladiator Armors Def and Def/End, if you have extra slots a third Gladiator Armor for the +res proc, and a reactive defense +res proc can help you out. I saw that you don't like using mids, but it comes in pretty handy for keeping track of set bonuses or building towards specific benchmarks. As an alternative you can use COD and Microsoft Excel to keep track of set bonuses manually, or with enough time in your head. My IO recommendations would change based on whatever build goals you have. Playing the toon at lvl 50, you'll get a decent amount of influence, and doing story arcs, task forces, Hami raids, etc a decent amount of reward merits that you can use to fund your toon, or you can use the market but that takes a little practice to get good at making a profit there. Overall for a Robo/Rad MM I'd expect to invest about 350-400 million influence in a finished build. You don't need to spend that much by any means but it's up to you how you want to play. Additionally for your end issues, slot a musculature radial alpha power. You'll get more damage out of your bots, end mod, and defense debuff to help your rad infection. Don't forget the stat boosting accolades like Atlas, portal jockey, etc. I have 4 different robot MMs at 50, and 3 different rad emission characters currently at 50 on HC, so if you want I'm willing to give you further advice. Overall there's a lot of good points in this thread. -
soul extraction not producing enough spirits
SeraphimKensai replied to Ridiculous Girl's topic in Bug Reports
I have several necro MM's (probably my favorite MM primary), always swap to follow mode and wait a couple seconds to activate soul extraction, to make sure they are in range, then back to business. It's sad when you're so far ahead of your pets if you pop it I've had only 1 or 2 before, and you feel that you wasted it. A little patience to let them get in range goes a long way (especially on Marine so you can ensure you have shifting tides on a grave knights, power of the depths, and toririal bubble everyone). -
I have a DA/SS tanker. And I will never skip rage on an SS toon. You can use temps during rage crash or dark Regen. Stack handclap with oppressive gloom for stun locking tons of incoming damage.
-
I usually slot it for heals to boost the Regen aspect or to chase ranged or recharge bonuses. I don't often find much need for slotting it for end mod because it provides a stacking 75% end mod buff per mob you hit for 30 seconds, which is usually more than sufficient as I pop it off in melee while surrounded.
