I'd want the engine rebuilt to allow for true VR. I've played this game a number of times on my Quest 2 using a stimulated movie theater style display, so yes I'd also want significant improvements to textures and resolution. -

I don't solo too often, I typically will try to help others as my toons pretty much from the moment I roll them come automatically lvl 50 and IO'd to the gills or so it seems. It's also nice to touch base with friends and running lesser done content and TF's anyone up for an Abandoned Sewer trial? If I wanna solo I have a few hundred or so other games for that.

You are welcome to try for yourself on the test client as it won't cost you any real influence just probably 30 minutes to get set up to try your test.

@Psyonicoand @Bill Z Bubba I'm also guilty of the infamous Emp/Energy Defender which I mained for a number of years especially for pvp. that said OP, literally just make whatever builds you want. I started HC with the idea of one of each AT, then that kept growing and I'm slowly on my way to 150 or so, last time I counted was around 130 lvl 50s. The problem when you get to this point is hoping you don't inadvertently double up a powerset combo.

Aside from nothing the level difference in your henchmen, positioning them in a means to keep them within your faraday cage while cycling heal/absorb will keep them up longer, but they are likely just getting overwhelmed due to slotting. -
Best case scenario you can boot it up on the test server use a power analyzer temp power and play with slotting to see the range of options and decide for yourself which effects you'd like best. That said I personally use Howling Twilight more as a huge -regen debuff while I'm working over an av or GM or something that has an occasional by product of resurrecting the rest of the league so they don't have to lie on the ground as I solo the big bad monster. I haven't really tried to damage proc slot it, as I usually built my proc bombs into other powers that will have more use for me in a chain based on the ppm proc calculator ratios.

That Elec/Ice Tanker I mentioned made it to 50 Gold side and then made the decision to portal over to the Rogue Isles to get a patron unlock so I could finish slotting my build. Now's it's a Vigilante Sleeper Agent just waiting on the cue to strike at the Primals. Elec/Ice works really well for Gold Side, and honestly anywhere, tons of mitigation and capped resistances to all except toxic and just shy of negative energy.

Ice/storm/dark, ice/cold/dark, or ice/dark/dark are all excellent choices of corruptors. You can sub in fire blast over ice blast as well. You can build them to have softcapped melee/ranged/energy/negative energy defense and perma soul drain and they all work extremely well.- 15 replies

The crazy thing is I'm not even kidding that I was solo in the bowl clearing mitos. Perma MoG and Toggle IH pre ED days with impale and throw spines their original range before getting halved. This was on Guardian way back around i1/i2. I hadn't thought to hide yet as pvp hadn't come out just yet, so a few ppl trickled into the hive then, there must of been about 30 of them before they jumped in and ruined my solo Hami attempt. By that time I had cleared maybe 3 mitos. That said I'm not sure if I would of survived a bloom or not, but I'd get hit and my health would instantly go back to full before the next hit came in. -
There is a name policy in place, however we currently do not have it active. It's designed to generic hero name inactive characters based on their individual level and last log in. If a character is lvl 50, even if the player moves to the moon, the name is as of the current policy permanently theirs, unless you are able to independently contact them and they release it on their own accord.

Well the time I was soloing Hami...I was on a spines/regen scrapper had cleared a few mitos and not died. By this time the onlookers standing from a safe distance thinking I was crazy decided whoa we might as well jump in as somehow he's immortal so we get kill credit. Instant Healing got nerfed the following Tuesday. -
Honestly I don't think I'm brave necessarily but rather bored, as I have 130 or so lvl 50's fully built, so I thought a little chaos on Gold Side would be entertaining. The character is lvl 19 or so now, and honestly working better than expected. It's really hard to mess up a tanker's primary choices, and ice melee is loaded with additional mitigation and Frost is my bread an butter with the expanded tanker AoE/cones it's hitting hard, so I'm barely slotted running around on a map herding groups of 12+ mobs and freezing them to death with Frost. I'm playing it as a loyalist and the storyline is great. Coffee two creams no sugar.

Scrapper Entropic Aura Executes Brute Inherent

CoD isn't unique to Homecoming nor is it maintained by Homecoming staff. If this scrapper version of entropic aura actually causes fury on a scrapper in-game on a Homecoming server, then yes that would be quite an interesting bug. Edit: looking at the CoD entry, it appears that it's the taunt aura for that power, and not actually the Brute's fury damage scalar inherent, so it likely is just internally named fury as a taunt aura for the effect, and not an issue. -

You could do something like an dark blast/poison corruptor. You'll get decent punchy damage, while devastating him with debuffs, and you can essentially kite him around and keep applying debuffs while you whittle him away (while healing yourself). It's an interesting concept for 1v1 actually and that's coming from an old retired pvper. -
I'm curious if Dramamine helps the people who have issues with motion sickness while gaming. Not that I'm advocating that people have to drug themselves. Personally if possible I'd recommend localized animation replacers for people to toggle on when offended by power animations. Similar to making a character immune to group fly via Null the Gull. Otherwise I do have a character that uses hurricane, whirlwind, and conductive aura that I imagine after reading this thread could cause people issues, but my god is it effective when you fold space a large group into a corner.

Salt Crystals is a PBAoE Sleep that also has a defense debuff component. It was first introduced with Earth Control on Controllers, was proliferated to Earth Control for Domi's and then was made available as a Earth Mastery Epic Power. Most recently it was included in Blaster's Earth Manipulation. The defense debuff aspect of the power is not enhanceable for controllers, dominators, or when used with earth mastery. It is enhanceable with blaster's earth manipulation, and further allows the slotting of both defense debuff and accurate defense debuff enhancement sets. I propose, we standardize Salt Crystals to accept defense debuff enhancements for all instances of the power.

Ice Melee/Regen Brute with Presence up to Unrelenting, Force of Will up to Unleash Potential, and Earth Mastery. You get to choose 2 powersets. -
Human form mez protection, increased Damage Cap for the ATs as the forms have a modifier which regulates the flow of damage, toggle suppression, and as a pipe dream: things like inner light, essence boost, orbiting death, inky aspect and pulsar work while shape shifted. Those things would likely help more of the community embrace the ATs.
