As long as we are buying Cheese from any place but Wisconsin. Paragon Island has a trade embargo against cheese from Wisconsin. Plus there's nothing quite like that fine Vermont aged cheddar.
-
I'd make any build that does base editing have fly, but you can do the same with a p2w flying power.

Shield/Stone Melee - lots of damage and knockdowns Rad/Dark Melee - proc bombs and tohit Debuff to support a resistance set Ice Armor/Mace - slows and satisfying wallops Dark Armor/SS - resistance, stacked stuns, knockdown, and good damage Willpower/EM - layered defenses and pom poms of doom SR/Rad Melee - great mitigation, aoe and -res via procs Invuln/MA - pretty close to immortal Elec/TW - extra defense from secondary to compliment resistance based primary. I use a proc'd out whirlwind for more knockdown and recharge. Bio/Staff - 6 forms, layered defenses, more damage. Its early morning and I'm still waking up so I might of forgot a couple but I have incarnate experience with all these and they all work well. I tend to play the DA/SS and SR/Rad more than the others, but maybe that's due to the concept I came up with.
-
Short Circuit is amazing with damage procs. Hits pretty reliably.

I'm honestly not opposed to having sets for stalkers with a couple changes to fit in an AS (maybe call it Sucker Punch?) and a placate to make it fall in line . Even making an Blaster Secondary or Domi Secondary could be interesting, as tons of characters across every publisher have varying degrees of super strength. We have Blaster Blapper builds already what's one more?

Stun ― Should it have a damage proc?
SeraphimKensai replied to Ston's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Maybe but what about something unique like chance for -Defense so you make subsequent attacks easier to hit? Or better Chance for -Regen? -
Maybe not but he does use explosive batarangs that leave people covered in rubble nonetheless. More to the point Spider-Man is more of a scrapper and he does have super strength, even punched the Hulk into orbit once with the Power Cosmic boosting him.
-
I would go stj/nin stalker for a batman esque character as defense based stalkers can be built with IO's that hold up extremely well (we're talking slugging it out head to head with an AV here). You'll have more controlled crits and Batman is all about control and analyzing the situation. Scrapper can get more AoE, but the Stalker is a much more tactical fighter taking out their intended targets with precision. Realistically it's all about how you envision the characters, no one would make the Adam West/Michael Keaton Batman as a ninja, they'd lean more into the character as willpower.

How so?

Maybe but I'm working on unlocking all the stat boosting forum accolade badges that will help with forum PvP.

Personally I thought that was a pretty reasonable proposed change. It allowed you to mitigate the crash if you wanted, but still be able to double stack when you needed. Otherwise I could see it working well if it was a toggle that scaled in effectiveness based on the density of enemies around the player similar to Invincibility or alternatively making a toggle that functions similarly to fury. I think if I was given carte blanche, I'd make it a toggle that functions similarly to fury (albeit easier to scale to full, and maybe only tiers at say 25/50/75/100) and maybe add a chance for bonus smashing damage at 50% rage, while adding a chance for bonus lethal damage at 100% rage for theme.

Fire/kin was popular for farming namely because it killed things faster than a fire tanker, and after the agro limit was put in place fire/kin was more efficient. Then CoV came out and we used fire/kin trollers blue side and a blend of fire/psy domis or fire armor brutes for farming red side. Brutes beat out domis because they we're easier to survive with and did pretty good damage. Once going rogue came out and you could get a brute blue side, fire/kins became obsolete. Now a days they are rolled for nostalgia.

All your base are belong to us. Honestly it would be really cool to build a base in say Auto Cad or something and assign it models/textures of game assets and import it back into game. I kinda always thought the original devs from the days of live were opening the door to that with being able to save bases externally via the demorecord command lines.

Rad/Staff-do I need to take Taunt with Beta Decay?
SeraphimKensai replied to JnEricsonx's topic in Tanker
Definitely learn something new every day. Yes taunt is an aoe so the -range applies to any mob hit with it, and yes it helps them run in to the meat grinder so to speak. -
Rad/Staff-do I need to take Taunt with Beta Decay?
SeraphimKensai replied to JnEricsonx's topic in Tanker
Beta Decay will taunt mobs just fine, but I do like taunt for the huge -range Debuff it has. -
This should probably be in the suggestions & feedback section as opposed to help & support.

OK...my attempt at a Warshade Tri build
SeraphimKensai replied to The_Warpact's topic in Peacebringer & Warshade
My bad, I was rushing out the door for my weekly ultimate frisbee club and failed to realize it didn't include a data chunk. I've edited the post to include one.- 11 replies

I'm working outside ATM so I haven't had chance to load the build into mids. Why a crushing impact in follow-up? As opposed to chase a set bonus or throw in another proc? Also since you have procs in it as well, why dmg/end/rech as that effects proc rates. Otherwise I'm not sure what to think going with 2 slotted brawl and sprint/prestige power surge. Something tells me you can get better efficiency elsewhere.
-
I haven't tried it, but that does seem interesting. It can't hurt to throw together an alternate build in mids. The big issue though is that the heal requires a to hit roll, so there's a chance that it could miss, but with slow res cap it would be back up pretty quick for a 2nd attempt.
-
I have a DA/SS that pairs a proc'd Handclap with Oppressive Gloom to help soft control some incoming DPS. It works pretty well in essentially giving me more tools to work with, but if too much -Defense gets in and eats away all my def my resistance is only going to take me so far. I also have to time out Rage so I know when I have a crash if I'm fighting a particularly tough mob. If it's common everyday trash well they can't kill me anyways so double stack rage for days on that.
-
I'm sure if I tried an elec/elec now it would be fine, that was back in the spring of 2004 when I was at the debt cap by lvl 9. Since then I've taken both elec blast and elec manipulation to 50 and IO'd both, I just haven't used both together since then.

Modification suggestion for Lady Grey TF mission 4
SeraphimKensai replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Put a warning at the beginning of the task force text that says what kind of team composition/power choice requirements are likely needed. That way if a team goes in otherwise, at least they were informed and they made a conscious choice to throw caution to the wind.
