  1. Then I suggest changing the Teleport one to make it actually improve travel as the others do.
  2. The real problem piece is the Running special, because there’s no combat power to put it in. The Flying, Jumping, and Teleport specials will work ok. The Running one I don’t really have a suggestion if you aren’t going to let it be a set bonus. Seems like you’re shooting yourselves in the foot on this piece.
  3. Then make them extensions of the travel power. The current design you have is all stuff for combat, not travel.
  4. If the intention is for them to go in travel powers, then they should be designed to go in travel powers. So it makes no sense to have an element of them that requires them to be on during combat.
  5. Then they should go in combat powers. If they’re only going to be on when the toggle is on, then they should not be designed for travel powers they should be designed for combat powers. I don’t understand how this is even a conversation. Obviously they should go in combat powers, not travel powers. Please re-think these designs.
  6. I think the special should function as a set bonus so it works even when SS is not toggled.
  7. Being able to attack when drained only applies to AVs and Monsters. I don’t see how that’s a problem.
  8. That’s how the power works. You get extra Range on the cone when you’re buffed.
  9. You avoid the lockout by hitting the spender at 4 instead of 5.

  13. To be perfectly frank, if they really believe that nukes and Shivans are required then they are NOT very good players.

  15. Yea, I don’t think they ought to be changed. It’s only like 4 or 5 sets out of all of them.
  16. The intention with these sets was, I believe, to provide something to do with Travel Powers now that they benefit from slots. However, the specials were designed to go in Combat movement powers (even though there is none for running). I feel like this is a clear design flaw.
  17. Honestly, the Launch special also seems pointless. Overall, the specials in these travel sets do not seem worth slotting.

  21. I'm not actually advocating their removal. I'm fine with there being a few scrappers with aggro auras, just like there's one controller with no pet, several blasters without snipes, a few buff sets that deal damage, and so on. Some variety is good.
  22. Crazy, I had no idea. Ok, well yes, the in game numbers for the barriers are messed up, but thank you for setting me straight and for the new info.
