  1. I have noticed that there seems to be some auto-correlation of some sort as well. There have been too many times where I have converted to exactly what I converted last for it to be completely random. My guess is the seed is not so random and that maybe there is some math involved, but I haven't dug around in the code to see. Wouldn't surprise me to find that it is the same code that has streak breaker in it.
  2. 1. Thanks for the UI sizing. Makes a big difference on 4k. 2. Nothing to see here. 3. I can get it to run now, but it seems to be ignoring that it is set for windowed mode when launched from the command line. It looks like it is going full screen. Launch command is below. C:\Games\Homecoming\bin\win64\live\cityofheroes.exe -profile live -auth 51.161.76.201 -assetpath assets\issue24;assets\live I tried the -gfxreset option, but that doesn't seem to help either.
  3. Say you start off with a common yellow IO; Springfoot: Endurance. Not worth much by itself. Convert Out of Set by Type to something that is rare (Orange), perhaps it converts to Celerity: Stealth. That is worth a bit more. Maybe you want to sell this one or try for something better. Convert Out of Set by Rarity. Maybe you get lucky and hit Luck of the Gambler: +7.5% Recharge Speed on the first roll. Or perhaps you get another not so good IO. I'll roll a few times to try to get into a category that I know sells; Health, Resists, Defense, etc. Once I get to the category I go back to Converting Out of Set Type and then maybe I will do a few In Set Conversions to get something that sells really well.
  4. They are in the comfy couch, but I wouldn't stick my hand between the cushions if I were you.
  5. I actually laughed out loud at that one.
  6. ahh. Yeah, no way to do that. Sorry. Only solution I know of is to revisit them all and keep track as you go.
  7. Relative pathing would have been the right choice, but when I made those last year I had forgotten all about it and didn't see it in any reference that I used to make the files and binds. When I fix them I will take the time to do it right this time.
  8. I've had this one for three years and it is going strong. Haven't even needed to tighten anything yet. I'm a fairly large guy that is admittedly overweight so I'm probably not the easiest on a chair. This is the first chair I have ever bought that I thought I got my money's worth.
  9. Most of us use this badge tracking tool:
  10. 1. Ok. Not terribly intuitive since there is a "Play" button, but it does work. The whole GUI window is just a bit small for my eyesight on 4k at 100% scaling. About 30% larger would be nice. My wife says I am blind. As long as I can't hear her it doesn't bother me. 2. I have several binds that rotate through different files to set up different power configurations depending on circumstances. Technically they still work as long as I keep my old folder around. Realistically I don't plan to have my C:\ drive littered with old folders that aren't used for much of anything. So I will end up having to migrate a bunch of files and do some mass renaming to get it all working again. For example: C:\CoH\Binds\Jump\Jump1.txt V "powexec_name Combat Jumping$$bind_load_file_silent C:\CoH\Binds\Jump\Jump2.txt" C:\CoH\Binds\Jump\Jump2.txt V "powexec_name Super Jump$$bind_load_file_silent C:\CoH\Binds\Jump\Jump1.txt" I don't think there is much you can do about this. It is a minor annoyance and I am a crotchety old man who doesn't have much of a lawn anymore to yell at people to get off of. <waves cane wildly>
  11. Multiple instances =/= dual boxing. The new launcher doesn't let ISBoxer control the windowing and broadcast keystrokes to the correct screen(s). ISBoxer creates windows within windows similar to how Linux handles windows. Each game instance is in it's own little sandbox. Keystrokes, mouse movements, etc can be configured to either go to one window or to all windows. It is a very nice system and works well with the way Tequila handles things albeit with some amount of manual configuration to get it all running. The new launcher and client seem to not be playing nice with ISBoxer now. A link might help if you are not acquainted with dual boxing software: https://isboxer.com/
  12. I have a Clutch Crank that is pretty comfy. I was talked into buying it and I am glad I was. Now that I am working from home, I sit in it all day long. https://usa.clutchchairz.com/crank/
  13. Installs and runs just fine. Couple of things to consider: 1. Play button is extremely small on a 4k monitor. 2. You broke all of the keybinds and macros that use files. I understand the need for a clean break, but you caused a lot of people a lot of work to fix the pathing. 3. Support for Dual Boxing seems to be broken. Or at least so far I cannot get ISBoxer to launch the game. Not that I dual box a lot, but there are times that I want to content by myself that otherwise I would need a small group for, Usually this is when I don't have time to do it all in one go and will only be able to do a few missions here and there between doing other things.
  14. Great advice. Basically how I finally got it awarded as well.
  15. It is super easy to miss one of the badges. It took me three times of carefully going around the areas to be finally get it awarded. Worst badge in the game.
  16. Not nitpicky at all. I used info from the Wiki as well as what I could remember offhand so I know there are some errors and omissions. Thanks for helping me clean it up!
  17. For the love of God, please fix the Phantasm AI. His AI is the dumbest of the dumb. Lloyd and Harry got nothing on this guy.
  18. That is a fine idea. I had forgotten the cape and aura missions required the same exercise. If it is an unlock, have it launch from LFG. Puts some of the more hidden content into the light that newbies won't stumble on without serious searching.
  19. There is a big difference in balancing a for profit game and being able to go free for all when you don't have to pay bills and you don't have a parent company to satisfy. FYI, the Homecoming Devs are not amateurs. A good portion do game development as their main job.
  20. Slightly off topic, but please don't tie new Patrons or Epics into story arcs where you have to run off to some other zone to unlock the power set. "Yay! I just leveled." Runs off to trainer. "Crap. It is time to pick a Patron. Guess I won't train right now since I have to go do an arc and I am in the middle of something else." Four levels later. "I really need to go run that stupid arc so I can train up. Stupid game mechanic..." Grumble, grumble, grumble... It really breaks immersion to have to run off to some zone, find the starter contact, run the arc, come back and train... Where this really sucks is when you are doing a task force and you are forced to wait because you literally cannot go do the mission. Either get rid of the arc requirement or put the start contact at the trainer.
