Nice concept. I remember how interesting it was on Live during shutdown when everyone came out of the closet so to speak. The variety of people that played was astounding. More than a few famous folks let their identities be known as well as those of us who are not so well known. I am looking forward to this.

Pretty sure the new Mids needs to be by itself on the computer since they told us to uninstall all old versions and install the new version fresh. However, if you are just trying to get the older version running, the update website has changed so auto-update isn't likely to happen.

I played mostly on Protector for years. Had a few alts on Justice and Pinnacle for when Protector was down or I just wanted to play by myself. I started playing more Red side and didn't have slots to make new toons on Protector so I made some on Victory I believe. Found a few friends who loved task forces and we made toons on all four servers so we always had something to play.

I've only seen it a few times, but it does appear to happen. It is so infrequent that I don't have a lot of information other than what I said earlier. Once in a while if you have an enhancement for sale on an account if you try to buy it on a different character on the same account, you can't. Logging seems to fix it. Not sure if zoning will fix it. Just another one of those things you stick to the side and work around it.

Actually a different bug is responsible for this. If you have an enhancement on the AH on a character; say a LoTG +recharge, you may have issues buying it on one of your other characters on that account. They may fail to buy the LoTG +recharge at any price.

One is for Procs, the other is the power toggle that has always been there.

Zone Mothership raids are ran literally every day at 3pm EST on Excelsior. Usually there are multiple runs. Apparition runs Thursday night instanced raids regularly at 8:30pm EST on Excelsior. Transfer your toon over just for the badge and then transfer back to your server.

Tried that. It brought them forward sometimes, but not every time. And what came forward seemed to be random.

This build is pretty broken in the new Mids. It uses the prestige powers as mules to get run speed up. I can't get to any of them to move slots or enhancements around. Tanker - Stone -Battle Axe.mxd

If you have the badge it should have auto-rewarded at the same time as you got the badge. But to answer your question, yes it would be free from P2W.

Pocket D is still easily accessible. Either use base portals or go to Kings Row, Talos, etc. All you have to do is get there once, spend an hour and you have the temp power.

That's what happens when you read who was invoked and don't read who answered. Reading is fundamental kids! On live you could just say Hickman, Hickman, Hickman and Troy Hickman would show up. Now a days apparently the invocation is somewhat random as to who will respond.

Faultline said yesterday in the Market forum that the price change was just missed. They will be going back to 25mm.

Most of the groups in PVP zones do not count toward badge progress as they are "fake" groups. There have been several posts about similar issues. "Fake" Malta that do not award progress toward sappers for example. AFAIK, it is working as intended even though it may not be working as wanted.

Hi diddly Ho Ebil Marketeers! So we all sunk money into Winter Packs and things might not work out like we want. That might well suck for some of us who were expecting big returns. At least for me, I didn't buy any to resell. All I bought was enough for future builds, safely tucked away in my storage base. My funds have finally depleted enough that I had to do some farming over Christmas break to replenish. I had forgotten how much fun it is to craft a few hundred random recipes. (It wasn't). And how much fun doing all the converting is. (It wasn't either) But the influence was nice and I am on my way to having a nice bankroll again. How about you? Are you still Scrooge McDuckin it? Or are you poor old Jacob Marley? Or just Tiny Tim happy with whatever life brings?

I think pretty much everyone is in agreement that a lot of the Blueside task forces are too long. Honestly if it takes more than an hour, I don't want to hassle with it. Splitting task forces into two or more parts would be fine, just don't name the second part of the task force something stupid like; "Discuss what is going on in the rest of the city". WTH does that even mean? Do I care what is going on in the rest of the city? I don't know. Is it the second part of the task force or some series of side missions or does Posi just want to gab? I really don't know and at this point I am afraid to find out. I don't see any point in discussing the Shadow Shard. It's an abomination and needs to be hit with a hammer until you can't see it anymore. Quite possibly the worst game design in all of the City. Red Side, I actually like most of the strike forces except the one with the exploding cave. That's just a horrible mechanic for noobies. Easily managed with fly and team teleport, but still touch one thing and everything explodes? Come on. That's just lazy design for laughs at the suckers. The later task and strike forces I think have it about right. LRSF, MSLTf, Incarnates, etc seem to be fairly balanced and not take tons of time. By far my favorite is the ITF. Only four missions and with a good team it's a meat grinder of fun. I also agree with @Yomo Kimyata. Base the merits off of more than just completion. Add a time factor along with some factor of enemies defeated. I really get tired of speed runs. Sometimes I just want to lay waste to the bad guys. Scorched Earth. Nothing left standing. Sure I get a few more recipe drops and a tad more influence, but it would be nice to actually be fully rewarded for the little bit of extra time that I took to "do the right thing" as it were.

There are badges. Mostly for the timed element. Some Master of Task Forces use the No Death ticker. A few use the rest of the options. There are a ton of badges for doing Ouro missions using all the options.

This was the case on Live. Recipes almost always sold for more than the crafted IO. When the AH was first starting, crafted IO's were prohibitively expensive to buy off the AH. I think a lot of folks got into the habit of 'Recipes R Cheaper' and they never did bother going back to check. Also there is the issue of crafted IO's don't drop so others that don't pay a lot of attention and explore the AH probably don't know that you can buy the crafted IO. Both issues go back to the lack of any AH tutorial, a horse that was beat into calcium in a Weekly Discussion Topic a few weeks back.

I bought 200 and stored them for future builds. I had thought to turn them around, but I realized I would just spend the influence on the same thing I sold in a few weeks. Selling didn't seem to make much sense after some thought.
