I'd stick the Reactive Armor Scaling resist proc in Kinetic Shield and +5 the Def/End and the LotG for a slight loss of S/L defense for a 3%+ resist to all but psi. If you +5 some other defense IOs you could probably replace more of the loss. I'm not sure of the slotting on Rune, as we are now stuck at 180/60. But Mids hasn't updated that yet. And I know you'd still want the set bonuses. The problem with Sentinels, I find, is not surviving; it's damaging. So while this might be able to stay standing in your 801s juggling Rune and Overload and Temp Powers, it's not going to be clearing very quickly. To that end, you may want to put Gaussian in Tidal Forces and +5 the other recharge.

One of the greatest things about this game is all the wildly different things you can do -- from beating up NPCs or other players, to base-making, marketeering, role-playing, mission writing, costume creating, min-maxing, power-gaming, speed running, badge collecting, or just exploring the world. There's something for everyone. To me, personally, I consider "playing the game" to be activating powers to defeat critters. Not that I have a problem with anything else on the list and I engage in all with varying degrees of success. But if someone chatted me and asked "what are you doing?" I would only respond with "playing the game" if I was beating up NPCs. Otherwise, I might say base-building or crafting or whatever I might be doing.

Yes. I play all things, all zones, switching back and forth at will with the help of Null the Gull! There are no true "heroes" anyway. All the heroes go around punching, shooting, slicing, irradiating and otherwise maiming "villains" who are almost always just standing around.

This is my F3 fire farming, Soft-capped to F/C, AoEing blaster. Bonfire with a KB to KD proc is almost cheating.

I craft all my drops when I also have the right salvage drop. On occasion I may buy salvage if I'm filled with set IO recipes just to make space. I would convert all the ones you listed, except perhaps Gladiators Strike and Experienced Marksman, the 2 PvP sets. None of the other ones will sell for more than 500K and probably much less so you will spend more to craft than to sell. But they can all convert to something worth selling if you are willing to play converter roulette. You can get a few million from the PvP sets, but you can get much more with one of the popular procs from Shield Wall, Gladiators Armor, Panacea, and a bit less for one of the PvP damage procs.

Ugh! That sounds like more trouble than it's worth unless you are planning to integrate with Mids or have some kind of build planner of your own. That's a lot of granularity for what I expect will be minimal usage.

I agree with Apparition and Snarky. I mostly solo because I work from home and have a family so I sometimes have to leave for a few minutes . . . sometimes more than a few. So I don't impose my crazy schedule issues on anyone and run TFs and other stuff when I know I have a steady block of time. Therefore, I ignore most of the LFG chatter. But if I see a request for help to defeat a boss/EB/AV or whatever and I have the time I will always offer to help. Also: not all advertising is created equal.

I made a TA/AR defender and an AR/TA corrupter recently and mostly dual boxed them and . . . damn! Trick Arrow is a monster now, especially when there are two stacking the buff/debuffs and fire pits of doom. I can only imagine what a team of 8 could do.

Here's a build I modified from my friend, Tommy. Perma pets, softcap to range, 30 something to everything else, lots of -res. Eats through GMs/AVs and pylons.

If you are going to be revamping it to some better thing in the future, I say keep it as is until you change it. If I had to choose between the two events, I choose the old one. Suggestion: Give wild Babbage, the one in Boomtown, not the Synapse TF one, the power to summon Paladin instead of those little clocks. If you can't have just the wild one do it, make it both of them! Any TF team that can solo Babbage could do both, and many teams already ask for help.

Hey, you do you. I'm not selling vegetables or redside. I'm not arguing against better rewards. I like better rewards too! All I'm saying is if you want to do a certain kind of thing in game, tell other people what you want to do and you will find like minded people. It may take some work, but anything worth doing requires some effort . . . except sleep . . . maybe. If you want to solo, obvious obviousness aside, no advertising required. Just go Kil Skuls, or Luddites, or whatever.

What leading? Picking the next mission? Most people that play this game have been doing it long enough that they don't need detailed instructions. Even when there are different approaches, stating "speed" or "Kill all" while advertising tells most what they need to know. Of course, if you don't want to lead or advertise, you don't have to. Your choices then are to join someone else advertising or solo.

Correct. More people eat crappy food than vegetables. There are many reasons: taste, ease of access, cost, but one reason is advertising. People can be convinced to do almost anything with the right pitch. I'm not telling people to like vegetables. I'm telling people who like vegetables to advertise. You are, of course, free to disagree with me. But I have personally proven my point personally many times. I advertise on LFG that I am about to do "X" on redside and I always get requests for invitation and often people say they need to switch characters or see Null to switch sides. Even if Blueside has 10 times more content than redside if you play long enough you will run out of new content. Red and Gold can be that new content . . . or new enough if you haven't run it since it came out. My "If you build it, they will come" meme is not restricted to redside. Don't like speed runs? Organize kill alls. Think the game is too easy? Organize +4 with additional restrictions (small team, players debuffed, critters buffed, etc). I constantly see people complaining that people don't play the way they want to play and want to make other players do what they want. That won't work. People will do what they want to do. The trick is to find like minded people. And the way to do that is to broadcast your likes and ask for people to join.
