I'm one of those people who'd have to have at least one and more like two full leagues to take my alts. Given that I can probably come up with an eight AV team that would have 3-5 debuffers (dark, rad, etc.) a tank and 2-4 damage dealers at range or melee. Five Fearsome Stares outgoing with a similar number of the -res dark power whose name suddenly escapes me and then multiple nukes and layers of AOEs from the damage dealers? A player team would need a bunch of Clarions and Barriers plus probably capped +tohit to even TRY and fight back. A lot of Domination boosted Confuses wouldn't hurt either.

But are you also a pinball wizard?

That's the one indeed. My Live crab spider took it Just Because, but when I recreated her on Homecoming I ran the math and got better numbers for both defense and DPS by dropping it.

The Crab Bomb power. Love it, it's a hilarious animation, but it takes so damn long to do anything I can't justify actually taking it.

That's because Back Alley Brawler manually made every possible brawl/other power combination animations. As I recall when Brawl plays an alternate animation it calls a completely separate version of the Brawl rig specifically flagged for that particular brawl/whatever pairing.

It's a great zone, but really after your fifteenth time through it it loses some of the luster.

If you have accumulated Patrol XP (blue bars on your XP totals) Debt consumes that first. If you die and earn 1000 debt after you've been offline for a couple days and have 2000 patrol xp, your patrol xp is reduced by 1000 and you have no debt.

Because if violence ISN'T solving your problem, you're clearly not USING enough.

It's the worst MM set and in the running for worst powerset in the entire game. The only useful advice is "roll literally anything else"

They're not tough enough to survive in melee, is my guess. Fenders and corrs both have smaller HP pools than scrappers or stalkers, let alone tanks and brutes. Further with like three exceptions (FF, sonic, electric) none of the support sets have mez protection. My understanding is those two factors combined led the original devs to say "yeah, that would probably be an exercise in frustration for the players" and Homecoming's generally evolutionary rather than revolutionary development philosophy has preserved the status quo. I'm not 100% certain that's what's at play, but it's my understanding.

They're magic. Created by a goddess of magic to be... something. I'm still not sure why the crazy bint did it.

Fortunata is by far my favorite psy character, but a near second is my current psy/storm corr.

Not even slightly. If all you need is the KB>KD, then there's Overwhelming Force which isn't BAD in terms of bonuses if you wanna go five slots, but there's also a lot of good five slot sets you could put in there instead and just use the singleton.

This argument has been made before. Ultimately it boils down to "This is still a video game and there are rules for such things." The way I recall it being explained back on Live was "Most of the low level enemies don't scale in any meaningful fashion so we'd have to make all new versions of the mobs that go all the way to 50 and aren't laughably weak and pointless for high end characters." Pretty much the way I recall it is "Low level mobs have maybe three attacks and don't do anything special, so throwing them at a 50 who can go face to face with a demigod or someone who farts lightning bolts is a waste of effort." If you really NEED to fight street scum in a lowbie zone for your particular idiom, then I suggest you go to the AE and write your own.

They appear in your contacts list around 30 or 35, as I recall. "The Major" is the vigilante one as I recall. Then there's the new story arcs from the Homecoming team, which lean a bit vigilante-ish in their potential resolutions. I don't remember their names offhand though. Shauna Braun, I think? and then Agent Watkins, IIRC.

That one doesn't unlock Pocket D portal access. That counts as the "AE" location badge.

I'm surprised nobody said "Crab Spider VEAT" considering that they give five or six big cones or targeted AOEs in either their main sets or the patron pools.

Why not just open the power info at look at the literal unhidden baseline numbers for any level from 1-50?
