AmericanSpirit Posted July 9, 2020 Share Posted July 9, 2020 Can't believe this is a thing. I had to leave City of Heroes before even seeing the latest updates cause I just didn't have a computer. Now I can play again! I tried DC Universe and Champions didn't catch my attention for long. The customization and gameplay still holds up well here! Anyway, I was AmericanSpirit (Inv/SS Tank) on Triumph most of my time on COH. Was a member of the SG Earth Protectors. Good to see everyone! I am mainly on Torchbearer. I play a lot with another supergroup that was also back on Triumph, Fusion Force. We have recreated the coalition with members of Wild Cards and Global Heroics. I played as Ares, Ursus, Crius, Malakim, Razputin, Starburst Omega, Plasma Cutter, Blackbow, and some others on Triumph. My wife played with me as MacKenzie and Fire Opal. I used to play on Triumph! lol The only character of mine I can remember is Tiger Goddess (emp/arch defender). I played off and on from ~2006-2011ish. I remember seeing the Feline Fellowship around and the name Pride is definitely familiar. I think Tiger Goddess may have been in the Fellowship briefly. We hosted costume contests and base raids quite often. Our leader was Blood Horn who you might remember (unfortunately Blood aka Greg passed 3 yrs ago). Almost all of the old VG are back and we are looking for any people from Triumph that might not have been as lucky as us to come back together with so many members. We have monthly scheduled events, Wednesdays are Praetoria Day, we do badging, TF/SF, some of us are starting to get back into PVP, farming, a teamspeak server, etc. Redside on Everlasting is starting to get a good population and we would like to cultivate it through costume contests, DFB, content, etc. If you remember Boomie, Slade, Evil Aye, Warpact, Daughter of Diablo, Frija, Zmar, Kelmar, Neon Meow, Charge, Electraline, Pyerune or Blood Horn then you've teamed with us or been a part of the Revenants. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. I actually joined Homecoming in May of 2019 but I didn't know they had a reconnect section in the forums!!!! In Triumph I was know as Gata Michu Michu and was part of the Feline Fellowship. I know the channel was initially used by the supergroups The Forgotten Legion, Keepers of the Twilight, and Priory of Scion, but was always growing to include more groups. Critical Hit ...whom I have recreated on Reunion. I had an Electric Blaster who was my other main and for the life of me I cannot recall her name! I doubt anyone will remember me, as I had few friends back then, but there is one, a fellow Brit, who played a blue skinned Controller named Snow.... something, might have been Snow Storm, but I'm not sure, but I seem to recall that they were quite well known 😞 Anyone here's a screenshot of us both dancing, with cowboy hats on in case it jogs anyones memory 🙂 They were quite gfriendly with another Controller who was tiny and always wore red, but I can't recall their name, and I've included another photo with her in too along with Snow.
