Hmm. I'd think Dark armor would be the place to start, add in Fighting (tough/weave,) travel power (that can run alongside sprint, so count two there,) and leadership.

I know someone's probably run one previously. The above is my guess, though.

What is the build with the most number of toggles?

Dark Armor - 7 simultaneous toggles

Add in tough, weave, focused accuracy, hover, afterburner, Sprint, combat jumping.

That's 14 possible toggles at one time.

My personal Dark Armor Tanker has and runs 12 of them at once some times.

Here we go. Got to 17 (focused accuracy too!) simultaneous toggles.

Ran out of END while trying to take the screenshot. (over on test, no enhancements.)  End consumption, 4.99/sec

Seems to me my Fire Armour Brute has upwards of 12. Sucks when I die.

Maybe it's 10. A lot though.

My Fire/Fire Blaster runs with 11:

  1. Scorpion Shield
  2. Tough
  3. Weave
  4. Combat Jumping
  5. Maneuvers
  6. Assault
  7. Tactics
  8. Cauterizing Aura
  9. Hot Feet
  10. Prestige Power Slide
  11. Super Speed (I will occasionally turn off #10 and #11 but Ageless means I get to more or less ignore endurance as a mechanic so I don't usually bother)

I have a couple of characters who regularly run 10 toggles. Even without incarnate stuff, managing end is pretty easy with the right slotting and set bonuses and such.

I'm sure if you wanted to make a character who was like Captain Toggles or something you could make a build that had 15-18 or so, without just turning on stuff just to turn it on (like sprint, or prestige sprint).

Don't forget the Hybrid incarnates - you can hit 19.

There's also Shadowy Presence, which would hit 20, although dipping into P2W and temporary powers may be cheating.

True. THis guy was just created on test, I wasn't even tackling incarnates.

And I *think* Shadowy would disable Cloak of Darkness, wouldn't it? (the whole 1-stealth-at-a-time thing.)

Though I really want to find something to let him hit 20 toggles now...

For realistic builds, I'm running 12 toggles all the time on my dark/rad tanker maximised for damage. Dark Embrace, Death Shroud, Murky Cloud, Obsidian Shield, Cloak of Darkness from DA. Irradiated Ground from Rad. CJ, Tough/Weave, Maneuveurs/Tactics/Assault. Ageless NOT optional, even with it I can run out of end during the low part of the buff if I attack at full speed.

My Widow has 10 toggles that she uses in combat, plus 1 when out of combat (or I forget to turn sprint off in combat, which is rare)

I have a keybind that toggles between combat jumping and Ninja Run.

Double Tactics, Maneuvers and Assault.

Status protection, and the Stealth toggles.

And, the Ghost Widow patron pool Darkest Night toggle.

Nice thing is that I don't need Sprint on while in missions to get around quickly, since the run speed without Sprint and/or Ninja Run is just over 40 MPH.

If my toggles begin to take up an entire tray, then I reevaluate my builds haha.  Usually I have between 5-8 toggles running. I’ll give a pass for my toggles taking up a full bar if that bar also has sprint, super jump, and the hybrid incarnate on it. Otherwise it’s off to the chopping block.

Edit: since they don’t cost endurance I don’t count bio adaptations, staff forms, or dual pistols ammo.

Love to know after slotting what your end use becomes.

Doubt I will ever get there.  GOt my first 50 homecoming this week. Took a year break, but still, I go very slowly mostly solo.

😃  well if I get a functional computer maybe I'll get the answer ... on test, not sure I'm ready for the possible masochism it might involve otherwise.

I went for a Spines/Dark Brute and totally forgot to take Oppressive Gloom (i did run the support hybrid tho...), this is what it took me to run it sustainably. It solo'd a +4/x8 Council Radio pretty well.

What I find very funny about this is this could be kind of like a min/max build. I notice a lot of top end builds these days don't have too many attacks they're mostly focused on having a lot of toggles (especially fighting) to improve their surviveability.

You can stack toggle powers in a single bind... just tap it multiple times. Group similar powers like shields/armor, buffs, etc. I use a bind like this for all alts that have Leadership powers:

U "powexectoggleon Tactics$$powexectoggleon Assault$$powexectoggleon Maneuvers"

Three taps of U and they're all up.

Or shields:

P "powexectoggleon Blazing Aura$$powexectoggleon Plasma Shield$$powexectoggleon Fire Shield"

This should simplify high-toggle builds. 🙂

Toggle Man!

I love the idea of running two damage auras and two control auras and then knocking everyone away from yourself with whirlwind 'because it's another toggle'!
