Techwright
Why does the Team Transport only transport a percentage of the 8-person team on first try and not the full team? At first glance, one would think inclusion of the entire team would be design 101, but perhaps there's a code reason? Why do the enhancement storage tables in bases flip-flop the listings of items if one is pulling several of one type out of them for use? I've lost track of the number of times I click on a wrong item because the table re-sorts the order. Burk
Team Transport has a target cap of 255, so there's no issue with transporting everyone in range. However, the radius is only 15ft. 1 From Champion (Hero) and Infinity (Villain), currently playing on Everlasting. Former member of the Hammers of Justice on Champion. Raid leader for 'Everlasting TFs'. Mains: Trickery Girl (Ill/Rad Controller), Burk (Sword/Shield Stalker), and 8 other complete badge characters. AFAIK, the team tp always asks everyone (that are in the area) if they want to be teleported. The to prompt is only for the single target tp other when used on friendlier. 1
ZorkNemesis
33 minutes ago, ZekeStenzland said: The to prompt is only for the single target tp other when used on friendlier. Prompt Teleport is for any allied teleport; Recall Target, Shadow Recall, Assemble the Team, Summon Teammates, and Incandescence will all ask the player if Prompt Teleport is active. I don't know if it applies to Team Teleport, but I've never seen anyone take that power in all my years playing. Mission Transporter will ask regardless of prompt setting, probably due to it making you change zones most of the time. Might be jarring to suddenly end up in another zone without input. 1 Currently playing on Indomitable as @Zork Nemesis; was a Protector native on live. Scarlet Shocker
Have you tried to get more than three people in a Longbow flier? you'd better be pretty bloody intimate with your team if you wanna squeeze more in! Serious answer: I believe it's an inbuilt penalty to give some sense of notional balance to the game. In the same way you are timed if you get defeated in Incarnate missions. I think the theory is that since you're all getting to the mission much more quickly than if you flew/ran/jumped/teleported there should be some restriction on beginning the mission instantly. I kind of think that makes sense in one way but I can see it's bloody annoying in another. 1 There's a fine line between a numerator and a denominator but only a fraction of people understand that. Maelwys
1 hour ago, Sarion said: Why Snarky!!!? Why would you post that? Though a better question is why would anyone do that to their body? According to the Tabloid Rags; they "allowed their opponent to douse their groin area with lighter fluid" as part of a stunt... but neglected to have a Fire extinguisher on hand. Another promising mensa candidate then attempted to put the blaze out by hitting them with a Garden Strimmer (I swear I'm not making this up) I'd call everyone involved a dumbass; but I suspect the ass in question is no longer recognisable. Hedgefund
The first one has been answered, there is no "penalty" except a penalty for being outside of the radius. If all 8 teammates are in range, all 8 will get ported, period, I've seen this happen plenty of times. The second question is a great one. I'd love to see this fixed. It's not game breaking but certainly "game annoying". 1
ZemX
Why is it possible to go through some doors/hatches when they are open, and others you must wait for them to close before you can click them again? Yeah, the obvious answer is different people worked on them, but I'm curious at the inner-workings. Is the clickable area something that is attached to the door itself or is it some bounding volume that covers the whole doorway and door frame? Because clicking the open door rather than the empty door frame doesn't seem to work either. It's like the trigger area you can click on disappears when the door is open. Possibly related: At tram stations, a few seconds before the gate closes and the train leaves, the ability to click the open door to the tram car disappears and you have to wait for the next car even though the tram hasn't left yet. You'd think this is do you don't see an animation of your hero dashing into the tram car when the doors have already closed, but this happens in reverse when you're waiting for the next car. If you've clicked the door, your hero will often appear to enter the car before the doors have opened. Asking the big questions, I know.

roleki
I think (think) that while base storage is sorted alphabetically, it is stored in the order which it was added, and if you remove something that was put in earlier than what else is on screen, it re-organizes the list. At least, that's what it looks like it's doing. 1 1 Anything you can have, we have it. Even got a devil in the attic.

The max targets hit is obviously just a max 8-bit integer, so they didn't care to restrict how many targets can be hit, but were somehow concerned that it wasn't too wide an area? eh...

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.
