  1. So I've made a few costumes lately that fit well, thematically, with the poison power set. In general, it's a pretty good set, but I think it could use 2 buffs: 1. Have the alkaloid power emit a small area of "splash" around the primary target, healing allies near it for a smaller amount and without the extra toxic damage resistance. 2. Allow poison trap to be placed at range and/or thrown at a target, exploding on contact. Thank you for your thoughts and feedback. Cheers!
  2. Is it the pretty flowers or the brute force of gravity, that draws you in to "The Allurist"!!? allurist1.costume
  3. So under the tight category, or some others, (like jackets), if you select "Imperial Dynasty 1", the cutouts take on a slightly different value of the primary color you select, (see below): It's then a matter of finding a skin tone that matches that 3rd color you get, (just gotta find one by trial-and-error)...
  4. I saw someone in-game using the Imperial Dynasty top without the gold and that matched their skin. I did a little playing around, and it seems that there's a non-skin/tight option that makes the normally skin parts a different color, based upon the primary color you select. Utilizing this, I present "Extraterrestriana", (or "Triana" for short): extraterrestriana.costume
  5. I was messing around with different color and piece combinations, and came up with "Virulent Vilde": virulent vilde1.costume After playing around a bit, I think the cosmic corsair back piece was a bit too "techie" for Vilde's look, so here's an update with a more fitting, (IMHO), cape:
  6. When the super-powered villains of Paragon City start moving into its parks, you need a new breed of peacekeeper to patrol those areas. Behold: "The City Park Ranger"*! *Kitten not included. city park ranger1.costume
  7. Some supers win the superpower lottery, and some get the short-end of the stick. "Toxicologia" lost her normal appearance in her tweens, and in its place, gained a cracked and toxic-looking visage. On the plus side, she can emit and finely control various toxins, (both helpful and harmful), as well as exerting some control over lower lifeforms... toxicologia3.costume
  8. In the current implementation of the costume creator/editor, there is basically only 2 zoom levels, (with some automatic adjustments if you go to certain categories, like the head section vs the torso section). What I'm suggesting is some sort of user-controlled slider, or perhaps a checkbox that you tick, then allows you to use the mouse wheel to manually zoom in, like how it behaves in-game. Your thoughts and feedback are appreciated!
  9. You don't need social media. You can, for instance, create a free account on imageshack, without using facebook or such. Cheers!
  10. Welcome aboard! I'll mirror what @Techwright suggested with showing off your best few on the "post-your-best-costume-designs-here" thread. Further, perhaps you could create a simple album on an image hosting site with your entire catalogue of costumes, and add a link to it in your signature. Cheers!
  11. Congrats @DJFM !!!
  12. I tried a few designs, using what you described. I wasn't feeling the gold, but please feel free to modify my design, below: island goddess.costume
  13. "Sometimes the path to everlasting happiness involves fleeing your arranged marriage, taking up arms, and making your own way", so sayeth 'The Morningstar Princess': morningstar princess.costume
  14. The fire doesn't just bring destruction, but also life. Embodying this is "The Balefire Spinney": balefire spinney2.costume
  15. Whether she began life on the surface or was born below the waves, "Damla Dredge" makes frequent forays underseas, only to return FROM THE DEPTHS! damla dredge1.costume
  16. Great look & a wonderful play on words!
  17. Despite being exposed to the ravages of time and darkness, she remains "The Extant": extant1.costume
  18. Here's my take - "The Crass Lass": crass lass 1.costume
  19. Aping heavily off of one of my previous designs, and spurred on by my desire to finally give /time a try, here's my water/time blaster, "The Timestreamer": timestreamer6.costume
  20. Ugh! Those puns were just raw! I'd prefer it if you stuck to ones that were more well-done...
  21. I hear you about the fighting pool attacks and keeping the power damage/recharge/end cost consistent across the attacks, but my main impetus was to provide more theme/rp options. Thanks!
  22. Here's my attempt. Truth be told, I actually find it tougher to recreate a costume when the character is wearing less. Hope it's something you can work with: evil linda1.costume
  23. For me, it'd be full mastermind pet customization, (though I'd even just settle for being able to change their appearance - individually or on a per-tier basis). Cheers!
  24. My first reaction is to go with a Sentinel; You get the "body enhancement" via the secondary armor set, and can have them wield an assault rifle, beam rifle, or duel pistols to reflect their more mercenary nature. Alternatively, pick one of the more traditional blast sets to simulate the attacks coming from their nanotech, (perhaps has a plain clothes costume, and one with high tech gauntlets, boots, helmet, and so on, to represent the nanotech "manifesting"). Another option would be to go with a scrapper or brute; pick something like regeneration or radiation to represent the nanotech enhancements, (or possibly super reflexes), and my choice for a primary would be claws, as you can explain that they're similarly spawned from the nanotech, and you even get a few ranged attacks mixed in. Hope some of this helps. Cheers!
  25. As many of us have likely heard, creating new mastermind primary sets is a huge undertaking. With that in mind, what I'm suggesting is to allow us to select alternate personal attacks for our characters. Just to be clear, this wouldn't affect the pets at all, and would just be alternatives for the characters we create. I feel that this would provide even greater customization options for our characters. For instance, let's say you took necromancy, but wanted more of an ice lich vibe - you could take ice bolt, ice blast, and frost breath instead. Maybe you want your ninja master to have more of a sorcerer theme - take charged bolt, lightning bolt, and ball lightning. Yet another concept would be a hunter as your beast mastery mastermind, so you could take bow or assault rifle attacks instead. This would also allow, for instance, a robotics master to wield a whip, (infernal machines indeed!), or maybe a gang lord to sick insects and trained birds against their enemies... To keep things simple, we could stick to a T1 attack, another T1 attack, and a T2 attack, all from the same set, (unless you want to add even more flexibility and allow us to pick any 1st blaster attack, any 2nd blaster attack, and any 3rd blaster attack). Your thoughts? Thanks for reading!
