  2. Some Assault sets for Corruptors and Sents might make a good addition now. Might need some creative naming due to overlap / etc.
  3. Blasters need their defense/mezz challenges Otherwise they definitely would be OP. It might take some time playing a built up incarnate blaster to realize how good a place they are in right now.
  4. Ice in a sense was the original Energy Aura. It was determined Brutes needed something not based on slowing Enemy attacks because of Fury. So EA was a replacement for Ice on Brutes So tankers have always had Ice.

  6. This is preferable to the myriad of new AT suggestions that we see. That said, its not really necessary. It wouldn't change level 50 performance at all. It would change leveling up performance a fair amount. It would drastically change exemplar performance.
  7. Keep in mind that weathering criticism is potentially a decent test of an idea. If the idea still seems needed and useful after the nay sayers nay say it, then maybe the idea is actually a good one.
  8. I generally do not solo if there are teams around. But my schedule means i miss peak times for anywhere basically. Lately though i am doing a completionist run, so I am soloing everything. I have all the goldside, blueside and redside 1-20 done (that can be oro where applicable) Im saving the TFs for the end though. ==== Sounds like market crash might not happen based on Sovera's post.
  9. I didn't mean to the pact isn't useful. Or if I did, then I was not correct. Since as you did point out some good utility. Its just that part of the reason it came about was the old clumsy sk/emp system. A big part from what I remember at the time. Also the longer it takes to level, the more valuable the pact is as well. Right now its pretty fast.

  13. I tried crafting by buying recipies like back on live at first, But i found in general it was just easier to buy the crafted enhancements. If you aren't in a hurry you can usually save a fair amount by bidding 50%/75% of the most common sell prices listed. It just takes a few days. I recently bought the two complete stalker ATO sets for 50%.
  14. Not only that, but the whole thing is OP It has 4 targetted AOEs, a cone, 3 ST blasts and a snipe. Then its secondary has shields for all major damage types, and it heals / FF / removes status on allies. And the presumably temp T9 buffs self and ally resist and defense that "bypasses soft caps." Then the inherent lets you choose whether you are a Blaster/Sent/Corruptor OR a Defender with multiple epic shields. The only thing missing is Self Status protection, so presumably you'd want to team with another one of these. Which shouldn't be hard since everyone will be making them.

  18. My take is .. Sents probably should do slightly less damage than Scrappers over time, ignoring nukes Then let the nukes balance out the crits, build up vs aim, etc. Right now though, do they even match Brutes?
  19. Energize is the same as Stalker, perhaps? Blaster Energize is beyond awesome though. Its quite possibly the best single power in COH.

    Both of those primaries are at the low end of the damage scale overall. So you may not see the scrapper advantage over brute with those. WP is great on scrappers.

  22. There is a certain opportunity cost to melee range attacks though. Ranged attacks require much less positioning before you start doing damage. So perhaps bringing Sents to a better scalar would be enough. The Sent secondaries are actually decent, they are probably not the problem
  23. Those ranged attacks are there to keep your victims from getting away.
