  1. Embracer is Wizards of the Coast-ing it, but with Dollar Tree properties.
  2. It's been gnawing at me ever since I realized even my Ill/Dark controller out-regens my Spines/Regen scrapper. Somebody needs to un-ass that whole secondary.
  3. They could maybe, I don't know... nerf regen?
  4. I just screenshot the UI before running a respec, then /cleartray and repopulate. Not ideal, but, not awful.

    Silly Idea

Experimentation is actually pretty decent for melee types, especially Brutes. Speed of Sound and a Jaunt macro means you can pop between mobs and minimize the Fury cool off you'd get when running between mobs. Corrosive Vial is a small AoE with a small number of targets, but it's an auto hit that will take the Achilles' Heel proc. Adrenal Booster isn't Moment of Glory or whatever, but it does give you a nice little spike if Fury is waning or you're swatting at something that needs some cheating.
  6. Maybe try an Ice Dominator. Shiver with just a smidge of enhancement will slow everything to a crawl, Arctic Air will have them moving to evade, then you come in from the secondary at normal speed and it will SEEM like super speed.
  7. If you think about it, it's a meteor when you summon it, and it's still a meteor as it's hurtling towards the surface; it doesn't become a meteorITE until it's passed through those Level 1 Hellions and hit the Earth proper.
  8. I gotta tell you, as an En/En blaster from Day One, Meteor feels like a half-brother I didn't know about.
  9. If ever a thread should get locked on the first page, it would be that.
  10. It's not etched in iron or anything, but generally speaking, you want to recover 2% more endurance than you burn at rest, i.e. if you're standing still with all your toggles on and consuming 1.5 endurance a second, ideally you'd want to recover endurance at 3.5/s. In my experience, very few builds actually reach that 2% margin without some finagling, but the Performance Shifter and Panacea procs can cover a LOT of ground in the gap. At a flat 100 max endurance, Panacea in an auto is effectively a .375/s endurance recovery buff, and a single Performance Shifter in an auto is (reliably) a .17/s endurance recovery buff. Add a couple more PS procs slotted in auto powers, and altogether with the Panacea you're looking at (reliably) an .885/s recovery buff, with the potential to be anything from .965/s to 1.125/s if you fall on the .5 side of the 1.5 PPM in Performance Shifter. So say you're burning endurance at 1.5/s but only recovering at 2.5/s. Loaded with 3x Shifters and a Panacea to add .885/s, you're effectively recovering 3.385/s, which puts you fairly close to a 2% gap between recovery and consumption. Plus, you can always +5 your EndMods and/or your various X/Endurance enhancements to fine tune, and the Atlas Medallion will make your procs that much better.
  11. Imagine if the top thread in the Tanker forum was "What's with all these egomaniac Tankers?"
  12. I don't consider it a "pool boy" build but I've got a melee-ish Sonic/Rad/Dark Corruptor that took all 5 powers from Fighting and all five powers from Dark Mastery. It's a weird build, but between all the mez, +Dam, -Res and Scourge, it ends up being a little truck.
  13. I try to slot Kismet in an auto where possible, but on a lot of characters, Hover ends up slotted as expressed here. Hover without flight speed enhancements is just torture.

    Hover blaster?

Boost Range is nice if you can fit it in, but it's more of a street-hunting trick than something you can pop while on a team in a sewer map and when it's all over think, man, how would that have gone without Boost Range? Don't get me wrong, a 59.6 range increase for 30s is nice, especially for your cone attacks, but in execution it's a little clunky. My En/En pretty much has perma Power Boost/Energize/Boost Range and what passes for perma Aim/Build Up, but I only end up using a mix of those 5 powers sparingly on a team because by the time I've loaded the cannon by clicking all these buttons, the team has mowed through two spawns.

    Hover blaster?

Energy Manipulation is a great secondary for hover-blasting, since you really only need Build-Up, Energize and Power Boost out of the available powers (plus the T1 you have to take), and that leaves you with plenty of room to 6-slot your attacks for set bonuses and go deep in a couple of pools to sturdy up a bit. I haven't got one out of the barn yet, but I'm betting water/energy would be pretty decent.
  16. I have had some fun with my Plant/Thorn/Psi Dominator, mostly because of the excellent synergy between Plant/Psi's Confuse and all the -Speed and AoE out of Thorns. It's not perfect (no self heal, chasing perma-dom and endurance/recovery leaves some defense/damage on the table) but there's some beautiful chaos to be had there. It's not unusual to have an entire floor's worth of mobs fighting each other in one 25' circle, getting beaten to death by their friends and some Creepers.
  17. So far, all I've done with Meteor is sprinkle minions around AP. There are other uses?
  18. Even though I had no idea the advanced difficulty options were coming, a while back I stopped rolling so-called 'proc monsters' because the further away from PI Radio Missions you got, the worse they performed. I like the idea of the devs saving themselves the work of re-coding procs by adding difficulty options; that gets some players what they want (moar harder!) without crapping on builds that live (and ultimately, die) by the RNG.
  19. Seconding the debuff theory... for the most part, all the Accuracy in the world is worthless if your ToHit is cratered.
  20. Would also add, the efficacy of a -Res debuff is sometimes dependent on the build/AT, and in the case of a proc, its delivery method. Put an Achilles' Heel -Res proc in Corrosive Vial on a Defender, and you'll notice the uptick but it's not enough of an impact to make you an evangelist on the subject. Put it on a Corruptor or a Controller, and suddenly things get rather interesting thanks to Scourge/Containment - especially on the Corruptor, who can usually get three attacks off in the 10s debuff window. If I can fit it into the build, I like the same Corrosive Vial setup on Scrappers that do commonly-resisted damage (like MA or Axe) because you can typically clear all the mooks in your vicinity off a Superior Critical Strikes hit followed by an AoE, and that's just a time-saver right there.
  21. Hey, if I want to walk into an office building door and find myself in a sewer fighting re-skinned Nazis, I'd just go to work.
  22. Nope, nothing new to see here.
  23. That was joke. That said, while I slot a Kismet on every character, I don't usually slot it until the 40s. IIRC, level 7 I was usually wondering how to make more blue.
  24. Isn't 9 a little young to have a ToHit bonus?
  25. Yeah, but you're speaking to a cathedral full of people who actually WANT to fight 30,000 Cranium Rats and throw poopeye towards anyone who isn't similarly afflicted.
