  1. For Electric attacks. I wish more sets had Acc and Dam enhancers, they'd be more usuable.
  2. Supra-dine. Saying the full four syllables sounds awkward to me.
  3. The 5th Column "Fist"s keep kicking me.
  4. My issue isn't the difficulty, I mean story-wise. It would fit better around level 30 where the Lost transitions to the Rikti.
  5. I know this is very old news at this point, but I just ran the missions again, and fighting Rikti, dealing with Vanguard, and curing the Lost at level 12/13 just seems weird compared to everything else happening in the game. I feel like this arc should be level 25+.
  6. I'm usually on a Tank, so it's a bit chaotic but still doable. That said, now when I hit level 50, I keep doing regular missions to unlock Incarnate powers and get them all to tier 3 before starting the Incarnate content. Makes everything a lot easier (maybe too easy?)
  7. The Tour Guide tips were a great idea. I used to avoid the "defeat X of an enemy group" missions from contacts, but now they're more fun with that extra reward.
  8. I think we should create a new "Smash Melee" powerset so we can make changes to Super Strength but still have the old Super Strength so everyone's happy. (Just kidding, there will still be complaints.)
  9. Tankers were originally melee Controllers- they shared the 'elemental' themes and some mitigation powers. Controllers had pets, Tanker basically were the pet. They both did very little damage except for Fire, and have been improved a lot since those early days.
  10. BAB's in a handy spot for leveling up when you're doing the "Save Atlas Park" early level arc.
  11. I'd just like to see a little S/L resistance added to Practiced Brawler. Yes, this is for someplace to slot the +Def IOs. No, I don't take the Fighting Pool on Melee characters.
  12. The problem is getting everyone to agree on what constitutes a "fix". I've seen a LOT of different Super Strength ideas (and added my own), I'm not sure anything can be done that wouldn't upset a good chunk of players. People would even complain about my AoE Hurl idea because they liked it being a skippable power.
  13. Honestly, I think a better idea is to just create a new "Smash Melee" powerset to avoid upsetting people with a Super Strength rework. Like how Willpower was basically just Regen 2.0.
  14. The easiest way to give Super Strength more AoE is make Hurl a Ranged AoE, since it feels like that big rock should hit more than one guy anyway.
  15. I find this list handy: https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Enhancement_Sets The IOs with the Earth symbol are "global", meaning you get the bonus even if the power isn't running. This includes most of the Defense and Resist bonuses. I noticed Reactive Defenses' +Resist IO doesn't have the global symbol, but I know from experience it applies even without the power on.

  17. So on the Test Server, Afterburner is a bonus power rolled into Flight, and a new toggle Evasive Maneuvers has been added to the pool. I think two 'combat flight' powers is a little weird, so I am spit-balling ideas for an alternative. Examples: Propulsion Blast - the same power that gives you flight can also be channeled into a ranged attack. Pretty straightforward, causes knockback. Altitude Training - auto power that gives +Recovery and resistance to End/Recovery debuffs. Anti-Gravity Field - Hover but with a Repel effect. Feel free to add your own, or if you like Evasive Maneuvers, that's cool too.
  18. I suppose my first tank because I had no status protection, Unyielding Stance meant you couldn't move when it was running so I skipped it. But I was still having fun.
  19. The icon flashes as a ten second warning. Not really noticeable on its own. but after a lot of playtime you get the hang of when to look for it.
  20. I have the damage bonus monitor running in the corner so I can see when it turns red and when the crash is over.
  21. I would drop Hasten, not Rage. You already have lots of Recharge bonuses, I think the +80% damage will help more then an extra few seconds of recharge time (also the +ToHit helps a lot against +4 enemies.)
  22. When passing through Atlas Park I like to stop and send some Hellions into orbit with Mighty Judgement.
