  1. Yeah, I left this open hoping OP would learn a thing or two, but, y'all are just trolling him at this point.
  2. I think the issue is that, pre-patch, you would automatically run out of the portal, which you still do when entering a zone from the portal. But now, characters no longer run out of the portal when entering an SG base. So if you have objects in your portal, you're gonna get stuck in there. Unsure if this is intended or not. @CR Americas Angel, @Dacy, what are your thoughts?
  3. Well, I think we can safely say it isn't a RAM issue. =O Depending on which launcher you're using, try to re-verify your install. If using HCLauncher, under the play button, hit the three dots, and select "Verify". In Tequila, I think the reverify button is in the options menu. Your computer can clearly handle anything CoX throws at it, but, just to be safe, also try returning your graphic settings to default, then bring them back up to a level you like once you're stable. Specifically, we've been seeing some issues with the experimental cel shading setting, so start there. Otherwise, if using HCLauncher, go into options and check "Reset graphics on next run". Make sure to UNcheck this after launching the game, or before your next session, as it will continue to reset your settings. Let us know whether or not any of this helps.
  4. This thread isn't just a dumpster fire, it's like someone drove a fuel truck into the city dump and then shot a rocket at it. Either way, we're changing more stuff soon, so, sorry? Also, closing this thread. Not sorry.
  5. Okay, I think this has run it's course. We appreciate all suggestions, but in the future, don't copypasta other people's ideas. Thanks.
  6. Since this question is Sentinel-specific, moved to the Sentinel forum.
  7. Part of the issue here is that we use your e-mail to facilitate correspondence. If you know what your e-mail IS (or, was), make sure you put that in your ticket. Also put in any other corroborating info: Account name, character names, global name. You can submit a ticket using the support link at the top of the forum, and the response will go to the e-mail of your current account (or, you can just check the support link for replies).
  8. Since this is a suggestion for the forums more than the game itself, moved the topic to Website suggestions and feedback. As an aside, we DO label each thread in the Beta section "Focused" feedback, so the expectations are already stated. If people choose to ignore that, as well as the "About this forum" sticky, well... That's when the GMs have some work to do. Per the OP itself, and subsequent ideas throughout the thread, there's certainly some validity to the thought process leading up to ideas like this. Maybe next time (and this isn't a promise, I'd have to get the leads ok on this), we can have an UNfocused feedback thread that wouldn't be so heavily moderated, which would allow people to vent, gush, and debate to their hearts' content without their posts getting eaten by the server hamsters (though the CoC would still apply).
  9. This belongs in the suggestions forum, so, moving it there 😃
  10. Hi This topic had nothing to do with the existing changes in beta, so, moved to Suggestions and feedback.
  11. *Bump* Reads the rules above, folks!
  12. As with all Beta feedback threads, we prefer qualified feedback from testing, rather than "armchair patchnote reading". And while everyone is entitled to an opinion, refusing to take 30 seconds to set up a beta account to take a look at things for oneself means the devs will likewise refuse to take your feedback seriously, which is no way to get things done. If you want a change reverted, you're going to have to do the work and prove why it's a bad thing. And, as with all Beta feedback threads, any posts that are not substantive feedback may be removed at moderator discretion. Consider this a friendly forum-wide reminder/warning. Thank you.
  13. Hid some posts. Tone down the hostility a bit, folks.
  14. Good catch, done 😃
  15. Thread belongs in "Archetypes" 😃
  16. Belongs in the Mids section, but, for some reason, I can't move threads into a "club" subforum, so, the tools and utilities forum will have to do!
  17. Nemesis Automation, perhaps? o_o
  18. Hey all While I appreciate the need to vent (as well as not naming names), issues that one feels requires GM attention or intervention should be submitted via the Support link at the top of the forum (or in the little do-dad in the upper right corner if you're on mobile). If any members of the mentioned group, or their friends, see this thread (or one like it), things will probably go downhill quickly, so I'll be closing this up. EDIT: I MEANT to close this thread, but, guess i forgot to hit the button. Oops =/ Still, since everyone is being mature and polite -for the most part- I'll keep it open a bit longer.
  19. Something about jerk hackers and going to the Americans, I'm sure. But in any case, while I agree that people shouldn't be mistreated based on how they prefer to play, this entire thread is just more drama bait, so, I'm shutting it down now.
  20. According to the link you posted, that series came out just LAST YEAR. Near as I can tell, the SG PRE-DATES that. And again, none of the toons there are copies of Marvel characters. And that's the title of the book, not the name of a team. There's a lot of grey here, and isn't as clear-cut a violation as someone trying to be "The Avongers". If anyone feels like we're making mistakes, we're all for listening and making improvements... but if you're arguing in bad faith just to try and make us look bad, because you have an axe to grind, or, more likely, you're simply trolling, then we're not as likely to take your criticisms seriously. Also, I would advise you to grind your axe and/or take your trolling elsewhere.
  21. Near as I can tell, "The Marvels" as an SG pre-dates any known copyright filing of "The Marvels" as a movie. Also, none of those characters look like copies of Marvel properties (Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Marvel Girl, Marvelous Melvin... wait, was that last one a thing?). However, this is something that the GM team will have to discuss once the film is released. Otherwise, we are not omniscient. If you see any other examples of this, please let us know. EDIT: Where are my manners? Regarding the OP: If you make a base look like a generic sitcom house, fine. But if you literally name your SG "The Bewitched House" or "1164 Morning Glory Circle", that would be problematic (and uh, yeah, I totally had to google that. Totally).
  22. So, Dacy was already linked to this, but, I was given the OK to put this here in case anyone else ever had the same question: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeivNrvsnOccHKJha6CjvQbbJMZsxGjuKRqGa0N07YgDBckUg/viewform Fill out that form, and as long as we have someone willing and able, we should be able to work something out! And while it says so on the form, I'm going to reiterate that we're all VOLUNTEERS, and won't be able to attend every possible event.
  23. Hmm... Make sure you're typing the name EXACTLY when confirming the delete. Like, if you have, I dunno, Illusion man, make sure that it's actually an i and two Ls and not like, a lowercase L, an uppercase i, and a one, or any other tricky font choices you may have made to get the name if it had already been taken.
  24. Just hid some nonsense arguing. Stay on topic, and make your points clearly, folks.
  25. I mean, you CAN do that now, but, it involves editing the critter in notepad, and they won't be worth any XP. A bit past the halfway point. ...of all the preview images, why did it select a 30x30 icon and blow it up? *sigh*
